Earth-38
National City
It was the cycle of night. Oliver walks over the park, reflecting on his thoughts on an erased timeline.
A few weeks had passed since he travelled to his world, to visit his parents, separately, and helped Barry with his problems. National City continues to remain neutral, that even Kara began to think of what the world needed, now.
When Oliver shut his eyes, a certain scene he holds, thoughts on. The fight that led to General Non's death. It was immense and brutal. Kara pounded vastly diligent on him. She made him bleed. Out of anger and loss. He could close his eyes a million times, re-shifting back to that scene. The scene where Non broke him, dis-functioned his ability to breathe. He knew Oliver was a key-source inside her, breaking her was like breaking an omelet. Which unleashed Kara's inner fury. The consequence was killing Non. Kara's full strength was so powerful for Non to comprehend. The speed and stamina, he couldn't keep up. It wasn't because of Supergirl's sheer gauge of rage-lava, it was because the Archer, before he passed out gave Kara the apparent card she never realised.
Flashback
"Please!", Supergirl screamed on Oliver.
His motionless body was able to flinch, not long before he was soon going to fall. Blood stains on every side of his lip, caused from Non's elbow-kicked his back.
"Kara...", he cries, weak to utter a word. Kara is undone. "...I wished we both had everything we wanted...".
"Save your breath, Oliver", Kara begged.
"No!", he shouted, losing more breath, rapidly. "I have to tell you something".
Kara, unrelenting, nodded, horizontally. Her tears are berserk, her hair was mazed over his face, and one hand that hangs out is clenched.
"No matter what happens to me...Kara, I...will always love you. With all...my heart", he uttered. As soon as he sentenced his last words, Oliver slowly closes his eyes, commissioning Kara to finally let it all out. Her sorrow, her anger, and her loss-dignity. She already failed to become Earth's hope, which meant breaking a promise-line with her cousin. She wasn't peasant to tile another bar to fall.
Unbeknown to Kara, Oliver's suit released a less-stench, transparent blue gas, which hovers over to Kara's. Those gases enter inside her nose, ears, and mouth. This was apart of Oliver's plan. The death, it was manual, but Oliver owned enough time, prior to his death, to activate it. As they entered inside her, Kara's eyes give off a blue aura.
In Kara's phase, she felt like her morals were clashed with chaotic substances from the outside, which moulded to construct a rise to an increase in strength. More sharper, more thirsty, more grittier. All while Non levitates behind her, which Kara noticed.
Now
Oliver opens his eyes, abscond from his thoughts.
"Is it my fault I inserted blue Kryptonite to turn you into a monster?", he questioned himself, almost feeling like he is indirecting it to his girlfriend. Supposed that he might be the reason why he's acting so different. If Alex knew about it, she'd be opposite-thrilled.
He heard a existent-event-tale that years ago, when Kara was a teenager, she was affected with red kryptonite. Accidentally by Maxwell as his ideal wasn't to destroy the Kara's life. He redeemed himself by both confessing he was the reason for it, and made up by curing Kara. Which does come to the question for Oliver. How long did Kara first don the red cape for? Oliver needs to own his privilege to gain knowledge of the timeline Kara recreated.
During the time he was on his mind, Oliver advanced forward, never fully aware of how far he walked. It's like the air was laying a firm hold of him.
"I wonder how far I passed", he said. "And how long did I lodge in here". His feet are perfectly in control, his brain just indicated to past times. "I need to run back, Kara is probably looking for me by now".
A black smoke fades behind Oliver. A dark figure arises, like digged out from its grave.
Oliver sensed, behind him, a varied pressure he never felt in air. Feeling a presence was behind him, and it wasn't human. Oliver twirled his body, swinging his leg to dash that said figure behind him, only to phase through. Oliver dazed, it was only black smoke he swipe, which revitalised.
Humanoid dark figure's risen height over-sizes a stature man. Oliver composes his glimmering scarce. He was startled. Though he shouldn't be that surprised. He's seen bigger sharks and demonic entities. The stranger's eyes glow red, smirking. His very eyes burn in mass-air. Its dark smoke, that surrounds Oliver, weighs the human heart.
"What are you?!", Oliver demanded, suffering air. The intense air was moderate, that it takes a swell toll on Oliver, putting him to his knees. "Who are you?!".
As Oliver raises his head up, he overlooks the same man, recomposing his entire body.
"You really don't know who I am? Do you?"
"I know that voice!"
Aftermath of recomposing his body, Oliver discerns a familiar giant-humanoid man standing before him. His entire texture is black, but Oliver could easily recognise his body layout.
"I know you!", Oliver exclaimed. "You're...". Smoke's pressure gangs on him. "...can't hold it in". He motions to his watch. One Kara gave if there was ever a case when there's danger, and phones weren't the case to use. His can't control his arm neatly. The pressure is scrambling him. "Son of a...". Oliver releases all the strength he had, reaching for his emergency-watch. Whilst vibrations are on him, Oliver takes out the natural layer of the watch, revealing a symbol of s button. The latter, still struggling, presses it. All the strength in him diminishes, phasing him to plummet. His hope was for the Girl of Steel to save him.
Metropolis
During an ideal night-shift, Kara flies over the towers of Superman's city. The Girl of Steel was glad everyone is at safe status. They deserve it, to treasure their lives. And it was all because of Earth's mighty hero. Many believe she could be way better than Superman, but in Kara's mind, she still believes she has a lot to learn. She kept wondering why she changed. She knew why she changed, but it was like her fate just got forced. She is enticed to understand herself, but believes this is what the world needs. She sometimes states she is now better than her cousin. Although her other side of the mind believed she has a lot to learn, and will never surpass the likes of how his cousin operates. A battleground between two halves of a mind.
Her thoughts were slapped, she heard a beeping noise from National City, recognising its sound.
"Oliver?!", she exclaimed. The latter sped passed, heightening over the towers, directing to her hometown.
National City
Oliver groans, close to admitting his defeat, reluctantly.
"You are strong boy", the figure remarked. "For a pathetic clan of human race".
The civilian Oliver continues to groan. Weight was higher.
The entity, Oliver recognises, raises his hand. Red flare boils arouse his gauntlet-shaped hand. At best to be drawn off by heat vision, which phased through him. Whatever he saw was a blur that snatched Oliver by its hands.
He looks to his right, perceiving someone he anticipated would come.
"Kara Zor-El"
Supergirl, tendering on Oliver's unconscious features, looks up to her right. She almost lost her balance.
"It can't be!", Kara whistled. "I saw him kill you".
"I can't be defeated and killed so easily", the demonic-person said. "My resurrection was chanced from the moment you used Timan-El".
Kara widened her posture, losing grasp of reality. The item she used supposed a chance for her foe to come back from the dead.
"I commend to your cousin's effort to taking my life", he complimented. "And now all he will realise is all the effort he out trhough was wasted in a Kryptonian garbage. By you!".
Kara didn't know what to do. His power is far beyond anyone specie in the multiverse. Seeking no other way, Kara launches herself to hit her enemy, which he easily catched, and grabbed her neck. Kara weakly chokes. She failed to lay another arm to pound on him. All she could is witness his breath-smoke.
"Your cousin will die. Not die yet. He will first watch as I crumble the multiverse into my multi-versions of utopia!", he announced. "You will be the one under my control. Against your people. Your adopted world. Even your own cousin. By Lord of Apokolips, Darkseid!".
