Chapter 18- Recovery and introductions

It had been 2 deca-cycles since Twinwave had been admitted into the hospital in Kaon. When Rainjet had arrived the emergency wing was been in chaos trying to stabilize Twinwave's spark, she'd been leaking energon out the back of her helm and had been barely alive when she'd gotten there.

To keep herself busy for the 2 deca-cycles while Twinwabe stayed in the hospital in ICU Rainjet had started going back to training with Megatronus, Twinwave's creators had been working to keep their minds off their daughter. The 2 deca-cycles that she'd been in there had gone brutally slow for everyone that was close to her.

Everyone worried if she was even coming out of the hospital alive.

Present Time

Twinwave walked slowly out of the hospital with her creators on either side bearing all of her weight, because if the intensive trauma the drilling had done to her processor Twinwave could barely walk and speak. Though she could do both well enough that they had let her leave.

"We're almost to the ship" Treadflight said as the trio's ship came into view.

Three deca-cycles of rest and relaxation had been prescribed to Twinwave. Over those three deca-cycles she was allowed to leave the house to work on her walking but someone always had to be with her just incase, so most of the time when she left Rainjet escorted her everywhere. Meaning that the couple got to spend more time together without anyone else around.

"You know now that we're together and my condition has gotten better you should probably meet my other friends" Twinwave said to Rainjet on one of their walks, her walking had improved over the last couple deca-cycles she was now able to walk mostly on her own and had recovered most of speech though she still stuttered occasionally. "Yeah I guess it is about time" Rainjet said with a smile.

In the weeks she hadn't seen them Twinwave had called Arcee and Bumblebee to talk plenty of times, they still didnt know about Rainjet however because that was something she wanted to tell them in person.

Twinwave stopped walking and leaned against a building and made a call on her communicator, "Hey Cee, can you and Bee meet me at the garden? I've got a surprise for you" Arcee said that she and Bumblebee would try to be at the garden in 10ish minutes. "I guess thats our cue to start heading over" Rainjet said after Twinwave had hung up, she took her femmes servo in hers and began walking toward the garden.

Becuase they weren't that far away it took the pair 5 minutes to get to the entrance of the garden and to a building, where they sat down and waited for Bumblebee and Arcee to get there.

"What do you think their reaction might be?" Twinwave asked Rainjet "I dunno maybe happy, but I don't know them very well they are your friends after all" she said looking back at Twinwave who had had her optics fixed on Rainjet while she was talking. Twinwave nodded her helm in response and laid her body against Rainjets to get a better view of the sky above her, it was pretty though there were no clouds like there are on earth you could see the other planets and stars around Cybertron in the late afternoon sun.

A familiar rumble came into audio receptor (ears) shot after a couple minutes, it sounded like Bumblebee and Arcee were almost to where the pair of femmes sat. Twinwave looked in the direction of the noise and saw her friends alts appear in view, she stood up to greet them as they got closer and untransformed.

"Its so great to see you guys!" she said grabbing her friends and embracing them "Its good to see you too" Bumblebee said "And even better to see you walking" Arcee added. Behind them Rainjet stood up and walked over.

"Who's this?" Arcee asked looking up at Rainjet who stood a good amount taller than her, ""Oh! Right I forgot" Twinwave said smiling embarrased "Bumblebee and Arcee, Rainjet. Rainjet, Bumblebee and Arcee" she said gesturing between the bots. They nodded acknowledging eachothers presence for a minute they just kinda stood looking at eachother, "Shes uh my girlfriend" Twinwave said noticing the tension.

"Wait what? You're dating A FEMME and she's a con?" Arcee said, it seemed to intensify the mood rather than lighten it like the intention had been but at least the topic had shifted. "Yeah I am" Twinwave said kinda of quietly, she wasn't sure how her friends were feeling after hearing this news but before she dig herslef farther into Bumblebee interrupted.

"That's actually kind of cool" he said, which made Twinwave feel slightly better but she wouldn't fully be relived until Arcee felt the same way. "How'd you two meet anyway?" He asked he also seemed to notice the tension between Arcee and Rainjet. "Oh well we..." Twinwave said as she sat down with Bumblebee each of them dragging a femme with them.

Twinwave proceed to explain how she and Rainjet had met, she left out the part about knowing Megatronus and what she'd done to Soundwave but they'd later find out about that.

Before Bumblebee could ask anymore of his question (which there were so many of), Twinwave got a call come through on her communicator. "Hey sweetspark you're sire and I need you to come home, the doctors are coming by for a check in soon so the pair of you need to get your afts back here" Treadflight said trying to sound as sweet as possible.

She looked at Rainjet who clearly wanted to leave "Well sorry that we couldn't stay longer, but how about we meet up again sometime? And Rainjet you can start walking and I'll catch up" Rainjet nodded and began to leave.

When she was out of earshot Twinwave looked at Arcee "Alright what's your problem with her?" she ask half monotone half sarcastically, "I dont know why but I'm getting a bad vibe from her" she replied looking at Rainjet's back as she walked further away from the group.

"Well once you get to know her she isn't that bad, and I should probably get going before she get too far away from me" Twinwave said smiling before leaving the pair to chase after her girlfriend. Arcee watched her go with a gut feeling that something werid was going g on with Rainjet when Twinwabe wasn't around.

Meanwhile in another part of the city, Megatronus stood in front of the high council except he didnt go by that name anymore instead he went by a new name Megatron. Megatron stood infront of the high council with Orion, he had an offer and demand, not knowing that from this point forth cybertron would never be the same.
