We started fighting alongside our children as they took out as many giants as possible. Soon all the giants had been killed but Gaia had woken.

Zeus sent the demigods away to CHB to defeat Gaia as we returned to Olympus.

After father was done with his long and monotone speech, Poseidon got up from his throne and so did I

"Father, I need to tell you something", I said hesitantly

"Well what is it daughter?",he asked, he seemed to be in a good mood so I thought it was a good time to drop the bomb.

I walked towards Poseidon and kissed him hard on the lips, which of course he returned.

The entire council, looked dumbfounded, they stared at us wide eyed, except Aphrodite since she already knew we liked each other.

"Did she...", Artemis started

"Just kissed...", was all Hermes could say as he stared at us

"Wow, just wow", Said Ares

The others stared at us like they did that one time at th- never mind, that's not important.

My father looked like he was about to burst, his face was glowing red, he glared at Poseidon.

"Father, I like him and he likes me,can't you be happy for me, please", I said in the cutest voice I could muster up as I gave him my puppy dog eyes.

He sighed, "Fine, but he hurts you he dies", he said as he looked at my boyfriend who just grinned.

I pecked him on the lips and we went back to our thrones.

The rest of the meeting was pretty boring, we were watching the demigods at CHB as they defeated Gaea.

The last we saw was Hephaestus's kid, Leo, disappear into the clouds on the back of his metal dragon.

So finally everything was back to normal, we were all rejoicing.

1 Year later...

Poseidon

Athena and I are still a couple and now everyone knows it, they were all happy for us and now was the perfect time.

I was with Athena on a date near a cliff that overlooked the sea, I turned to Athena and lightly placed my lips on hers, I pulled back and motioned for her to stand up as I did, we walked around the cliff for a while.

I turned her attention towards the sea and asked her to keep watching, the water swirled around for a while and then some of it was lifted towards the sky where it formed these words...

'Will you marry me ?'

She turned to look at me and I was on one knee, holding out a beautiful ring, she nodded as tears fell down her face, I pulled her into a deep kiss as I slid the ring onto her finger.

We pulled away and rested our foreheads on each others,

"I love you", I whispered

"I love you too", she whispered as she kissed me hard on the lips.
