"I saw on the news they really injured one of the students, put her in the hospital, even having torn off her tail." My eye twitched at that, I wanted nothing more then the comfort that came from my tail. I know I had said it was fine, but I had lost part of myself.

"Fuma, you okay?" Deku asked as he placed his hand on my shoulder.

"Yeah, just... I feel like I failed. My first real fight and..." I sighed.

"Hey, you just have to get back up and fight harder next time. You will be a great hero." he gave me one of his awkward smiles.

I shrugged of his hand as we kept on walking. "Hey, Deku?" I asked him.

"Oh, what is it?" He asked back.

"Do you best to be the top hero, because I won't be far behind." I smiled at him, "I will be the number one hero, Mr, Future Symbol of Peace."

Chapter 17: Preparation for The Sports Festival

I leaned back in class as the rest of the students murmured about the past day. "Fuma, you looking a lot better." Iida stood in front of me. "How are you feeling."

"Well, I am still sore." I looked at my still casted hand, "A few more days and I'll be back at one hundred percent."

"Well that is good." He turned to the rest of the class. "Okay, everyone take your seats. Class is about to start."

Everyone settled down, I looked down at my notes that Deku had helped me with, but the more I squinted at them the more jumbled the words became. 'Is something wrong with me? I can barely read this.'

The door to the class room was opened by a heavily bandaged Aizawa, but he wasn't in nearly as bad shape as he could have been after the battle the other day. "Hello Class 1-A." He looked at us as he went through some notes, "I'll keep this brief, due to the U.S.J. Incident security will be increased, if you need to talk to any of the UA staff about what happened all UA Staff as ready to listen. And lastly, preparations for the UA Sports Festival are under way, I expect you to train as hard as you can for it."

"Sports Festival?" I asked.

"You don't know about the UA Sports Festival, ever since the rise of Heroes and Quirks, normal sports events have fallen out of popularity because of unfairness quirks bring on. It is broadcast around the world." Deku said with a big smile.

Iida raised his had, "Sir, given recent events, is it safe to hold the event?"

"The school is and will take every single precaution." Aizawa said, "During your time here, you have three sports Festivals, three opportunities to be scouted by pro heroes as sidekicks and sponsors for brand deals. This is where you build your futures as Pro heroes." He looked us over, "I expect the very best out of all of you."

The rest of the day passed by relatively uneventful, until we went to leave for lunch. I went to the door with Deku, and standing outside our class was a large group of students. "Oh... uh can we help you?" Deku asked.

"So this is the famous class 1-A." A boy with blue eyes and combed blonde hair, "You are just looking down upon as aren't you? Having the two top students from the entrance exam. I'm Neito Monoma of Hero course Class 1-B."

A boy with messy blue hair and tired bagged eyes looked us over, "I don't see anything special, your the one who got injured? Can't even defend your self from a mindless tool for villains, you don't deserve your spot in the hero course. Once the Sports festival is done, the staff will see that and move a few of you down to general studies in place of those that do. I am General Studies student, Hitoshi Shinso."

A large muscle bound boy with metal like eye lashes, "I am Tetsutesu Tetsutetsu, hero course Class 1-B. And I will show that you what it takes to be a real hero."

"Not likely you reject extras." Bakugo stepped in front of me. "I'm the best in this school and you will see that."

"Really, I had heard that the person that the top spot on the practical was a girl, I didn't realize it was a insult." Monoma laughed only for me to step in.

"I was the top in the exam, and if you want a fight, I'm ready whenever you are. I'm not afraid of anyone of you." I grinned.

"Kachan, Fuma, you aren't making us look good." Iida waved his hand at us.

Once the crowd dispersed Iida confronted me along with Deku and Uraraka. "Why did you do that?"

"Why did I do what?" I asked.

"You told them that your ready to fight at anytime, look at you! You basically said I could beat you with one hand behind my back, you insulted all of them." Iida pointed at me.

"Oh, that could be a fun challenge, thank you for the idea." I smirked, "If they want to take our spots, then they better bring all that they have, I would rather have motivated opponents. It's more fun that way."

"Not every thing is about fighting, you are training to be a hero, not a war machine." Iida said, I glanced at Deku. "Why do you want to be a hero?"

'Ironically, that is what my people were.' I thought to my self. "To get stronger and face strong enemies. In doing so I can help others. What of you two? I know that you want to be like your brother, what about you Uraraka?" I shifted the focus off of me.

"Well... you see... I'm doing it for the money. I know it isn't as noble as Deku's or your Iida's." She scratched at the back of her head.

"Well that is perfectly fine, you are seeking to support your self. That is a fine goal." I rolled my eyes.

"Well it's more then that, my parents own a construction company. But it hasn't been getting work lately, so I want to be a hero so that I can give them a easy life." And I was the selfish one again.

"Young Midoriya, Young Fuma, I am here!" We looked at All Might.

"Oh, All Might... what is it?" Deku asked.

"You want to eat lunch with me?" He asked as he held up a small wrapped box.

"So cute!" Uraraka cover her mouth as she laughed.

We went with the number one Hero to a staff room. In there he shrunk into his skinny form. "Thank you for coming." I sat down in front of a large picnic basket that was set in front of us. "I know that you need to eat a lot. I hope that is enough." He poured him and Deku a cup of coffee.

"What is this about All Might?" Deku asked.

"Well like I said the other day, I have little more then an hour in my muscle form. But I wanted to talk to you two about a few things, the frozen limbs that were recovered from the Nomu were a mixture of several different people's Dna allowing it use of their quirks." He said.

"So it's a creature made from DNA and quirks? How is that out of the ordinary?" I asked.

"It's the amount of quirks, and that every single identifiable DNA signature and Quirks were all from missing persons and low class thugs. Only one man Could do something like this, a man that I had thought dead. The one responsible for my injury." His shadowed blue eyes locked with us. "The Symbol of Evil, a man that goes by the name of his Quirk, All for One."

"All For One?" We asked.

"When Quirks first appeared, many people panicked as villains appeared, but among them was a one that stood above the rest, born with the power to steal and give Quirks to others. He used this power to subjugate others, at some point he stole a immortality Quirk stopping his aging, and who knows what else he has." All Might said, "The fact that you not only survived but also killed that Nomu, something that was meant to kill me, well I'm afraid that he will believe that you are the next user of my Quirk."

"But, how would he know about One for All?" Deku Asked.

All Might swallowed hard, "All for One had a Quirkless brother, to whom he gave a quirk, the ability to stockpile power, but he id have a quirk, the ability to pass on his power. A useless power on it's own, but with the second Quirk, to store the power of past users would allow it to grow into what One for All is today." He spread his arms. "Light always emerges from the darkness." He stood up and walked to the window.

"So what else did you want to talk to us about?" I asked.

He looked back at us, "I want you two to do your best at the sports festival, I fear that the future will need more then one Symbol of Peace. I want you two to proudly walk into that stadium and say that you are here."

We nodded. I had a Goal.
