Summary/disclaimer: Time for another chapter of Bewitched Bond. Enjoy the 900-word chapter. I don't own RWBY, Monty Oum and Rooster Teeth do.

Crim and Glynda looked at the relics. Crim cracked his neck with amusement and turned to the side while crossing his arms and hummed.

"So, should I point out that we still have to take the relics all the other side of the forest." Crim stated before blinking.

"Yes, and it took us several hours to try and make it here. I cannot believe we hiked all the way across the forest to make it here by night." Glynda tapped her weapon against her hip and then turned to look at Port and Oobleck.

Where they had gotten a tent on short notice was beyond their ability to guess. Crim settled into a crosslegged sitting pose and then brushed off his arms.

"Time to sleep, we go back the way we came tomorrow. Grimm would hunt us down and slaughter us if we try and leave before then." Crim muttered, knowing for a fact that trying to trek all the way across the forest at this time would be the stupidest idea ever.

Well, more stupid then most of Crim's ideas, but they didn't need to know that.

(Present times)

Crim found Port and Oobleck talking with Glynda in the library of the school. he hummed and walked over to the duo before Port turned to look at his friend.

"You know, we don't have enough people to really patrol Vale and start fixing damage… and there's no way they wont destory the majority of the town before then." Crim stated to them as Port chuckled and nodded.

"Yes, it seems the Grimm sure are causing problems, the only issue is learning a weakness in their patterns and scraping them before they hurt anyone else and cause god knows how much more damage." Port looked at Glynda who nodded and then turned to Crim while waving a finger around.

"That is entirely why we have more staff coming over and why VPD is pulling in more officers from outside the city to police things. Vale is a strong city and it will take more then a anicent Grimm to bring down our city." Crim hummed and raised a eyebrow at Glynda's words before she looked to the side, deep in thought at the moment as she considered her current plan.

Crim knew it was something he would have done, he's made stupid plans like this and it wouldn't have been out of place in the past.

Glynda knew the plan was insane as well, but they needed to make sure the Grimm was done and gone from Vale. Their removal of the Grimm would serve as a symbol of the city overcoming the Grimm onslaught and showing them no matter what happened, Vale wouldn't back down.

The only issue, was getting enough Dust to remove it. they had very little factories around the Kingdom, and those which survived wouldn't sell the Dust cheap due to not being able to outsource it to begin with.

Crim sighed and patted his friend on the side. Glynda said nothing, but knew Crim would help get her the supplies she needed for her assignment, knowing that they had a duty to remove the creature from the tower.

"Well, there's got a be a few factories who are open to selling Dust to the city and making sure we could try and reopen." Crim shook his head while cracking his knuckles and then neck.

Crim was many things, but he wasn't a criminal. He didn't engage in illegial practices to begin with, and the idea that he had to go and try something to protect the town? It bothered him, it bothered him a lot more then he would admit.

Crim would still protect the town if needed. He turned to look at Glynda and raised a eyebrow.

"What exactly is the game plan when it comes to getting more Dust? We're going to need crates of it if we're going to get rid of scaly up there." Crim noticed Glynda arch an eyebrow and hum before the Headmistress of Beacon turned and tapped her weapon on the leg of her dress.

He chuckled and then turned to his friends before humming with sheer enjoyment of the idea.

"So, should I get ready for another mission or are you planning on something that we used to do years ago when it became time for Huntsmen missions?" Crim asked, raising a eyebrow once more at his friends and the former second in command of his team.

He wasn't sure what to think next, he had no real idea what Glynda was capable of if she took his ideas and would repurpose them into her own.

"Well, we will be going on patrol… unless you boys believe that we don't require the city to be up and running?" Glynda asked, spinning her weapon through her fingers.

Her teammates could only stare with shock and horror.
