Zimman Axel, 18
"The female from District 10! Zimman Axel!" Ceaser claps.
Zimman walks out in a black sleeveless, lace dress. Her dark hair cascades past her shoulders in waves. She gives a wave to the audience as she smiles. Shaking Ceaser's hand and then takes her seat.
"Zimman," Ceaser says, "we are all very curious. In the Reaping, you were stunning, stunning! But your peers seemed to think otherwise. Why was your district booing at you when you walked to the stage?"
"I'm too good for them," Zimman smiles, "I knew it, they knew it. They couldn't handle me. I feel much more at home here in the Capitol. So, I appreciate the warm welcome."
"And we appreciate you for participating in such a difficult game," Ceaser says.
"Of course!" Zimman answers, "the Hunger Games are more than a mere spectacle. They are a way to get everything a girl wants in life. Money, fame, a hot man."
"Oh, so we have an eligible bachelorette. No one in District 10 waiting for you?" Ceaser asks.
"No," Zimman replies, "no one there was my type. Hopefully, though, that'll be another thing the Capitol can offer me."
Sawyer Moore, 17
"A big round of applause for the male of District 10! Sawyer Moore!" Ceaser announces.
Sawyer walks out in a classic black and white tuxedo. Though he is one of the more handsome tributes with striking blue eyes and a body made up of mostly muscles, he doesn't own it…Or even seem to know his attractiveness. He peers at the audience as if wondering why they clap and cheer his name, giving quick confused waves.
"Sawyer," Ceaser says, "we must know. Is there a special someone back home?"
"Oh, no sir." Sawyer rubs his forearm, giving a awkward chuckle. "I'm not that lucky."
The women and some men in the crowd scream for Sawyer, waving their hands, reach for him.
"I'm sure you have many people who are just dying to be with you," Ceaser says.
"That's really kind of you to say…"
Ceaser pauses, expecting more from Sawyer but Sawyer doesn't say anything else.
"So, who will you be fighting for in the arena?"
"My grandfather," Sawyer answers, "there's my parents and sister too. I'd like to see them again but I really would like to see my grandfather once more. So yea, I'd say it is him I'm fighting for most."
Astra Starfield, 16
"Now give it up for the female of District 11! Astra Starfield!" Ceaser says.
Astra skips out in a black strapless dress, making her pale skin seeming even more pale. Her long auburn hair has been tied in a braid that goes down her entire back, decorated with simple coloured flowers. She gives Ceaser a big hug before taking her seat.
"The games are tomorrow, Astra, how do you feel about that?" Ceaser asks.
"I'm nervous, of course but…I've only known District 11 my whole life. The fields of fruit and vegetables on flat land. The only glimpse I had into a different world was the Hunger Games. The snowy tundra, fields of tall grass and weeping willows, mountains covered in purple and pink flowers. So, though I am afraid, I am excited to see the extraordinary terrain I'll be calling home for a short while."
"That's a lovely way of thinking…Have you met with Marcella from 9? I feel you two would get along famously."
Astra giggles. "I did meet her briefly during training but have not had the chance to get to know her. I'm sure she is a lovely human being that has touched so many lives."
"Is there any tributes here that you haven't had a good experience with?" Ceaser asks.
"Of course not! Everyone has been either very kind or more than interesting. It has been a gift getting to know each and every one of them."
Filbert Fowler, 14
"Next we have the male from District 11! Filbert Fowler!"
Filbert appears worried as he steps on stage, wide eyed, cautiously walking forward, breathing heavy. He's dressed in a simple dress shirt, the sleeves rolled up, and a golden vest. His black hair has been left flat on his head.
"Filbert Fowler, what a unique name," Ceaser says, "what was life like for you back at District 11?"
"It was…It's…Good. It was good," Filbert answers.
"Well, that sounds swell!" Ceaser smiles, "what exactly made it good?"
"Umm…We ate well…Good family," Filbert chokes out.
"That's all someone needs," Ceaser jokes, "that and to win the Hunger Games!"
Filbert only awkwardly laughs in response, keeping his wide eyes on the crowd.
Casida Dalie Munroe, 15
"It's the final district and here we have a woman hoping she is the final tribute left! The female from District 12! Casida Dalie Munroe!" Ceaser announces.
Casida's rusty brown hair has been tied up in a simple bun. A red and black dress tightly hugs her body making her take small steps as she makes her way to her seat.
"Casida," Ceaser says, "don't you just look ravishing tonight!"
Casida only smiles, gives her head a slight bow, and looks at Ceaser to continue.
"You are a woman of few words," Ceaser says, "do you think that will affect you in the games?"
Casida shakes her head, gives another bright smile, then looks back at Ceaser.
"You did manage to wiggle your way into the Strong Six Alliance," Ceaser adds, "so we should not be counting you out!"
Casida shakes her finger at the crowd, as if telling them the exact thing Ceaser has said, don't count me out!
Nevon Dystra, 16
"Give it up for our final tribute of the night, the male from District 12! Nevon Dystra!"
Nevon waves to the crowd and Ceaser as he walks out onto the stage in a red and black suit. The jacket seeming black but turning red when the light hits it exactly right. His green eyes have been rimmed with a dark pencil to make the colour of his iris really pop.
"How are you doing today?" Ceaser asks, "on the eve of the Hunger Games?"
"Great," Nevon answers, "I have an alliance of five other tributes by my side, I manage to learn lots during training, I feel I am as set up as best as I possibly could before the games."
"Someone is confident."
"I think a person needs a dash of confidence entering the games. It is what fuels the risky moves that make a tribute a victor," Nevon answers.
"Do you believe you are going to win?" Ceaser asks.
"I am not that confident to answer that question right now, with twenty-four tributes still standing and having not even entered the arena yet but I do believe I stand a good chance. I guess I'm confident enough to believe but not confident enough to say for sure."
Powered through the interviews and they are finally done!
Only 1 more chapter and then it is going to be the bloodbath :D
