the next few days passed as things in the galaxy had been peaceful
at the Bridge in Elysion; Ken, Arad, Ernest, and Kaname were having a discussion with some NUNS, S.M.S, and Military higher ups
"we object! The Protoculture ruins holds many valuable resources! Destroying it is no option!" a NUNS high ranked commander exclaimed as Ken had planned to destroy all Protoculture ruins in the galaxy "we can gain more power with them! And we can gain that by using Mikumo Guynemer! She is the Star Singer! A tool for us to use to open the great future of humanity!"
"she's not a tool" Ken said while crossing his arms as his face filled with fury "she's a living being! Clone or not! She's not a tool for you bastards to use!"
"she's just a clone! We can more of her if we want to!" the NUNS commander exclaimed "her power could control the whole galaxy! We must gain control of that power first!"
"you bastards are in no position for that!" Ken shouted as Scarlet appeared with a folder file in her hands "not while I hold secret research project that you've been doing"
"what?" Ken nodded to Scarlet as she opened the file and revealed schematics of some sort of bomb and a battle cruiser "that's!"
"a new type of a Dimensional Fold Bomb, and a new type of a battle cruiser that can amplify the power of the Star Singer..you people have no idea on what power you're dealing with!" Ken said as he snapped his fingers and the data disappeared into the folder
"if the media finds about that, the people will be against the NUNS and you'll be out" Arad said while crossing his arms "frightening man our captain, isn't he?"
"send assassins or whatever you want to silence me" Ken said as he holds up his robotic hand that transforms into a gun "but I will assure you that their dead corpses will be in front of your doorsteps. I'm a Black Ops unit under Lady M, anything I'll do will be off the record, and accidentals death can happen"
"why you!" the NUNS commander exclaimed
"Enough" an S.M.S official said sighing "we're here to discuss our actions against Meltys Kurenai, not bickering like children"
"glad to see that the S.M.S have brains than the NUNS" Ken said crossing his arms while ignoring the glare from the NUNS commander
"at the moment, the S.M.S have not found any single information on Meltys Kurenai's whereabouts. We assumed that she's in hiding" the S.M.S official said while sharing information on Meltys's action
"try checking Al-Shalal yet?" Scarlet said as she snapped her fingers and showed visual pictures of Meltys in Al-Shalal, "these were taken a few days back, we assumed that she's researching and trying to find the coordinate location on the Galaxy Shrine"
"Galaxy Shrine.." S.M.S official said already knowing the report of the said Protoculture ruins that is within the Regina Nebula "..the situation is truly dire, if Meltys Kurenai finds the location of the Galaxy Shrine and knows how to utilize it without the help of the Star Singer. The whole universe is in danger"
"then it is more the reason for us to find the Galaxy Shrine and utilize its power for ourselves!" the NUNS commander exclaimed "such power should be put in good use!"
"no" the Military official spoke out "such power should be destroyed before falling into the wrong hands..Ken Siriuinis, the Military is backing your action in destroying the Protoculture Ruins"
"thank you" Ken nodding with a smile
"are you hearing on what you are saying!? This power can be used to save the universe! There would be no need of any war in the future!" the NUNS commander exclaimed
"that is the reason why we must destroy it" the S.M.S official said looking to the NUNS commander "we know that the War with the Windemere Kingdom was the NUNS fault in the first place, we won't allow any repeating mistakes. The S.M.S shall be supporting your idea, Ken Siriunis"
"you fools! You're going to let such opportunity slip away!?" the NUNS commander exclaimed before shutting off the monitor on his channel
"looks like the NUNS won't be helping" Ernest said crossing his arms
"but we have help from the S.M.S and Military, that should be good" Kaname said
"alright then, we are going to destroy all Protoculture Ruins located in the planet of the solar system, leave not one remain" Ken said "the operation shall be initiated in four days times, let us prepare"
The S.M.S and the Military official nodded before they shut their channel down
Ken sighs before he looks to Scarlet and nodded
Scarlet nodded back before she disappeared
"let's prepare too" Arad said as Ken nodded
"ready Elysion and Battle Ragna for departure, we're going for Al-Shalal." Ken said "Meltys will have something prepared for us there, I can feel it"
"roger" Arad said nodding
Ken walks in the hangar as he was going to check on his Messiah and Durandal but when he gets there, he finds his units gone
"where are my units?" Ken asked the mechanics
"the Lieutenant and the Vice-Captain are taking them for a spin" the mechanic replied pointing to the sky as Ken looks up and sees his Messiah and Durandal flying around, badly and amateurly
"those two, huh?" Ken said crossing his arms as he watched them
The Messiah was spinning around uncontrollably and the Durandal's thrusters weren't igniting very well
"for god sake" Ken said heading to Hayate's Siegfried and gets on
"damnit! This thing!" Hayate exclaimed as he was trying to fly straight on the Messiah but the unit didn't respond to his actions and just turns into Gerwalk mode "how can he pilot this thing!?"
Mirage wasn't having any luck as the Durandal's unit capability wasn't like the Siegfried
"thruster's power, unit Balance, kuuh! The specs are too high!" Mirage exclaimed as she tried to keep the unit floating in a stable flight in Battroid Mode "how come it's so hard from last time!?"
"what are you guys doing?" Ken spoke out on the channel as he came flying in on Hayate's unit "taking my units without permission"
"Captain!" Mirage exclaimed "we're sorry, sir! Hayate wanted to try and i.."
"hey! Don't blame it all on me! You wanted to ride his Durandal again, didn't you!?" Hayate exclaimed
"you forced me too!" Mirage exclaimed as Ken sighs when he hears them bicker on the channel
"alright then, while we're at it. I'll show you two on how the Siegfried can unleash its full potential" Ken said on the channel as he pressed a few buttons in the cockpit before flying away with Hayate's Siegfried
Hayate and Mirage looks to the sky as the Siegfried flies up before flying down fast
Ken heard the alarms in the unit as he was getting closer and closer to the water fast
Pulling the controller up, the Siegfried transforms into Battroid Mode and ignites its legs thrusters before flying off and started spinning before aiming its Gun pods everywhere
Lastly, it transforms into Fighter Mode and started to fly fast while riding the air current
"fast!" Hayate said seeing his unit flying faster than when he was piloting it
"can a Siegfried fly that fast?" Mirage asked surprised
Ken pulled the throttle as the Siegfried transforms into Battroid Mode backwards and then flies towards Hayate and Mirage
"wow!" Hayate exclaimed as the Siegfried flies pass the two without any thrusters helping before it transforms into Gerwalk mode and floated up
"how's that?" Ken asked
"very amazing captain, it was like seeing the Immelman dance" Mirage said clapping her hands a bit
"Immelman dance?" Ken asked "the flying dance, Hayate made?"
"yeah, you were like dancing with the wind" Hayate said
"ho..then show me how you do it" Ken said as the Siegfried flies close to the Messiah and the Cockpit opens
"alright!" Hayate said opening the hatch as both pilots traded units
Entering in his unit, Ken pressed a few buttons before his unit transforms into Battroid Mode and so did Hayate's
"watch and learn, Captain" Hayate said as his unit flies off
"hmm" Ken hummed as he watched Hayate flies around
Mikumo and the Walkure were at the rehearsal room doing some singing

"I'm tired" Makina said grabbing a bottle with Reina doing the same
"sweaty sweaty" Reina said drinking her bottle
"the new song is gorigori amazing!" Freyja said while wiping her sweat off
"it is, but it lacks something" Kaname said taking her datapad and was looking up some data "it needs like a flare or something"
"what do you think, Mikumo-san?" Freyja asked as the Mysterious Venus just looks to the sky and watches Ken, Mirage, and Hayate in the sky
"what?" Mikumo asked as she didn't hear Freyja
"what do you think that the new song needed?" Freyja asked
"what it needed?" Mikumo said before looking to the sky "it needs…some wind"
"some wind?" Freyja said before looking up as they see Hayate and Ken's unit dancing in the sky together
Ken pilots his unit as it was dancing with Hayate's unit
"not bad, Captain!" Hayate said as his unit flies around while Ken was doing the same
"I've been flying planes far longer than you!" Ken said with a smirk as he thrusts his unit to the side and did a spin while transforming into Battroid Mode
"but can you do this!?" Hayate asked as he flied his unit to the ocean and started dancing on top of it
"ho?" Ken looks amused before he followed his actions
"they're in sync" Mirage said while piloting Ken's Durandal
The Messiah and Siegfried spins around in the water before flying up in Fighter Mode and spins in the air in Battroid Mode
Ken and Hayate grins before both flies away in Fighter Mode
A few days soon passes as Elysion, and Battle Ragna was off in space
Ken was at the bridge, talking with the crew of Battle Ragna
"once we get to Al-Shalal, maintain distance to the planet while in Attack form" Ken said "ready the Quantum Main Gun at all times, use 45% power"
"Roger that" the crew responded before the channel was closed
"Captain, are you going to blast that cannon at the Protoculture Ruins?" Arad asked "that can be quite dangerous"
"yeah it is, I just read up on the Protoculture ruins, we can't have the Walkure there." Ken said "if Meltys is still in that planet, she would set up a trap for us. Mikumo's song once destroyed the Protoculture ruins at Voldor. We can't use the same trick twice. Not with her around"
An incoming call came in as two monitors opened
"S.M.S 14TH Brigade forces are on our way to Windemere, ETA 30 minutes" "Military Forces are on our way to Al-Shalal, ETA 15 Minutes, we'll come in by Fold"
The two channels opened up as Ken looks to them
"S.M.S 14th brigade, thanks for coming. The Aerial Knights will be joining you, make sure that you're friendly. And Military Forces, we'll be waiting on ya" Ken replied before the two channels closed
"you'll make a very fearsome enemy if you are on the other side, captain" Ernest said as Ken chuckled in response
"what's our ETA?" Ken asked as he looks at the hologram map of the star system
"20 minutes sir" Nina replied while in her operating seat
"tell Hayate and the others to prepare," Ken said "Meltys still has her knights and pawns left"
"roger" Nina replied with a nod before she started typing on her monitor
"we better too" Arad said as Ken nodded before the two left the bridge
Hayate, Mirage, and Chuck were prepping as they get their pilot suit on
"Al-Shalal again, huh?" Hayate said zipping up his suit
"talk about twist of fate" Chuck said adjusting his gloves "we've been there so many times already and something bad always happens there"
"yeah" Hayate said as he grabs his hand gun and slipped into his gun holder
"come on you two, the Captain and Major are waiting on us" Mirage said passing by the boy's locker room while already in her suit
"roger" Chuck and Hayate said as they grabbed their helmets and heads out
In the hangar bay, Ken and Arad arrives as they find Hayate, Mirage, and Chuck checking on their units
"alright, people" Ken called out as Scarlet appeared beside him and had a hologram screen of Al-Shalal "we're going to divide into two groups; one group in the airspace, the other in the planet."
"Hayate, and Mirage, you two are with me. We're going into the Planet. Any signs of any hostile VFs, shoot them down before they shoot you" Ken said as the two nodded
"Arad, and Chuck, you two stay in space. We need eyes up" Ken said looking to the two "I want everyone to keep an eye out for everything, that means we're counting on you the most, Chuck. Once you get out, activate your unit's radar, Reina will help. Check everything, don't leave anything behind"
"roger" Chuck said nodding
"and me?" Scarlet asked crossing her arms
"you're going to pilot my Messiah, help Arad and Chuck with the others" Ken said as Scarlet nodded
Ken snaps his fingers as the virtual chess set appeared in front of him
"Meltys has only a few good pieces left, but I know that she will try to pass our border defence" Ken said to them all "the Battle Ragna is on standby once we arrive to Al-Shahal, once we cleared the Protoculture ruins, the Battle Ragna is going to destroy it with its Quantum Main gun, I don't want anybody being too close to the ruins"
"what about Freyja and the others?" Hayate asked
"I'm getting to it" Ken replied as he grabs his King's chess piece "for now, they're on standby from action, Meltys wants Mikumo the most, we can't let her have what she wants. The Alpha, Beta, and Gamma platoon are on border defense duty"
"Preparation time is 10 minutes! All pilots get in their units!" Arad exclaimed as everyone saluted before going away
"see you out there" Arad said as Ken nodded before he leaves to prepare
"Ken" someone called out as Ken turns and sees Mikumo
"Mikumo? Why are you here?" Ken asked going to her
"I wanted to wish you luck" Mikumo said as Ken smiled to her before giving her a peck on the forehead "stop her, save the galaxy"
"yeah, I will" Ken said before kissing her "be safe, alright?"
Mikumo nodded with a smile before the two went on their ways
Meltys was in Al-Shalal as she was looking at the Protoculture ruins located in the planet
"just a bit more" she said as she holds a data pad that was downloading data
"hostile signals arriving to Al-Shalal's air space" her data pad said before giving an alarm sign
Meltys looks up as she sees the Battle Ragna arriving in space before it started to transform into Attack form
"here they are" Meltys said smirking before she snaps her fingers and two android soldiers went to her side as one gave her an ear piece
"all units attack hostiles, capture Mikumo Guynemer if you can but we need her alive" she said as a Macross Class Battle ship appeared in the planet from cloaking before the ship started to fly up "and also, initiate Wind Program"
Ken and the Delta Platoon flies off from Elysion as Ken's Durandal with Hayate and Mirage's Siegfried flied towards the planet and started entering the orbit
"Ken, I got a big signal coming from the planet, seems like a Macross Class ship, and it's going to exit the orbit soon" Scarlet called out as Ken sees the Macross Class ship flying towards space
"Captain! You've got company!" Ken exclaimed before seeing dozens of Fold Portals opening up and many Battle Ship class came flying out "lots of them! Battle Ragna! Fire at them! Don't let them stop our plan!"
"Roger!" everyone replied on the channel as the battle instantly begun
Meltys' data pad finished downloading as she smirks
"finished" Meltys said as a Lucifer came flying in while in Gerwalk mode "let's leave this place"
But just as she was about to get on, a Plasma beam came flying and hits the Lucifer, causing it to explode
"he came, huh?" Meltys said as she looks up and sees; Ken's Durandal in Battroid Mode and had its Plasma Rail gun aimed while being accompanied by Hayate and Mirage's units
"you're not going anywhere, Meltys. I won't be letting you"Ken said in his unit as the head visor shined
"is that so?" Meltys asked before snapping her fingers
Soon dozens of Lucifers appeared out of nowhere as they surrounded Ken and the others
"where did these guys come from!?" Hayate exclaimed looking around as they were surrounded from all sides
"it was a trap!" Mirage exclaimed
"the game hasn't stopped yet, and I don't intend to let it" Meltys said before all the Lucifers went on the attack
"keep them off! We can't let her escape!" Ken exclaimed as he and the others flied away from flying plasma beams
"you don't have to say it!" Hayate exclaimed as he had three Lucifers chasing after him and Mirage
Meltys smiles before her Durandal landed near her and its hatch opened
In space, Arad, Chuck, and Scarlet were flying around as they were shooting down enemy VFs
"Major! More incoming!" Chuck exclaimed as more VFs came flying their way before they all got shot down by Scarlet
"your welcome" Scarlet said before the Black Messiah flies away
"got to give the lady some credit" Arad said before his radar picked up alert signs,
"detecting numerous Defold reaction! Incoming!"
"what!?" Arad looks to the side as more fold portals opened and more battleships appeared "captain!"
"we know!" Ernest exclaimed as the Macross Elysion readied its Aether Cannon and fired
The blast fired as dozens of Battleships were destroyed but some survived
The enemy Macross jets towards Elysion as the two Battleships battled in a Macross Attack
"Major! We've got more incoming! VF-9 Ghosts!" Scarlet exclaimed as hundreds of VF-9 Ghosts came flying around, shooting their allies
"so many!" Arad exclaimed as he flied away from incoming fire "Scarlet! can you hack and shut them down!?"
"I can! But I need time!" Scarlet exclaimed before getting fired at "I can't do it under fire!"
"then let's give her time and keep them off!" Chuck exclaimed as all units fired their missiles
"yeah!" Arad exclaimed as his Siegfried transforms into Battroid Mode and fired its gun pods everywhere
Ken's Durandal flied up before firing missiles at enemy Lucifers and takes them out
His radar picked up boogies as more and more Lucifers came chasing at him
Ken gritted his teeth before he sees Meltys making a getaway
"go, Captain! Me and Mirage can handle them!" Hayate exclaimed while flying away from three Lucifers
"don't die!" Ken exclaimed as his unit flies away and chased after Meltys
"let's do this, Mirage!" Hayate exclaimed
"roger!" Mirage shouted as both started shooting down enemy Lucifers together
Meltys rides inside her Durandal as she was leaving Al-Shalal
"all I need now is the Star Singer's power" Meltys said before her Durandal got a graze plasma shot by Ken who was chasing after her "but seems like Ken won't be allowing me"
Her Durandal soon got into a dogfight with Ken as missiles and Plasma beams were fired and exploded
"tch! He's much faster in a Durandal then a Messiah" Meltys said before opening her data pad and pressed a program "no matter, all shall fall for my new Galaxy"
Pressing a program, the data pad went green and a symbol of wind appeared on it
The Macross Elysion was fighting against the Enemy Macross as Plasma turrets fired at each other
"don't let them counter! Forward!" Ernest exclaimed as all of their weapons fired at the enemy Macross, destroying it "alright! All troops! Don't let up!"

Everyone soon a familiar song as it was the song of the wind
"this song!" Ernest exclaimed
"the Song of the wind?! Why!?" Hayate exclaimed holding his head
"Hayate! Don't let it control you!" Mirage exclaimed worriedly that Hayate might get infected by the song "why is Windemere!?"
Ken heard the song as his heart started to ache and his head hurting badly

"what is this!?" Ken exclaimed before his unit got shot with a missile from Meltys's Durandal
Ken tried to fire back but the song was messing with his head and sight, that he missed his shot
"what's going on!?" Ken exclaimed as veins started to appear around his face
Meltys sees that Ken's Durandal wasn't flying right as she smirks
"fufufufu, seems like the poison developed in him very well" Meltys said as Ken wasn't chasing after her again "now, to find the Galaxy Shrine"
A fold portal opened as Meltys Durandal flied in and disappeared with other remaining battle ships doing the same

"Gaaah!" Ken screamed out as the veins in him started to spread and his body started to go crazy
"why is the Song of the wind!?" Freyja exclaimed as she can hear it
"it doesn't sound the same" Reina said
"this one sounds…..lifeless…like there is no emotion to it" Makina said
"bio fold wave reaction 50 %, this isn't the Windemere' song of the wind" Kaname said reading the scan before the song disappeared
Mikumo looks outside as she found Ken's Durandal flying in space, but it was flying in a strange way
she looks at the Durandal as it was flying around in Battroid Mode before it just stops flying and floated in space
Hayate and Mirage had finished taking down the enemy Lucifers and were now returning to the Elysion
"what was that?" Hayate asked as he was confused and surprised to hear the Song of the Wind "the song sounded so dead feeling like it was singing by a machine"
"I don't know, but we have to report what we found to Captain" Mirage said as Hayate nodded
The two flied up before they entered space and finds Ken's Durandal just floating in space
"Captain?" Hayate said before he opened up the channel and his face appeared in the Durandal's monitor screen
"Captain? What are you doing?" Hayate asked in the comms before his eyes widen in surprise to see blood floating around "Captain!? Hey! What's wrong!?"
"what's wrong, Hayate?" Mirage asked as she opened up the channel and her eyes widen in surprise as she sees blood floating all around Ken "Captain!"
"Captain! Captain!" Mirage shouted as everyone heard her shouting from the open channel "Captain Ernest! Call in the medics! There's something wrong with Captain Siriunis!"
"what?!" Ernest said before a monitor opened up and they see Ken surrounded in blood "call them now!"
"yes!" Nina exclaimed
Ken coughs blood as his body twitched while veins were popping out everywhere on his skin
"Captain! Hang in there!" Hayate shouted as he and Mirage grabs Ken's Durandal in Battroid Mode before they flied off to Elysion
Arriving to Elysion, everyone went to the hangar as Ken's Durandal was docked in
Hayate and Mirage opened the hatch before they gasped in surprise to see Ken covered in his own blood while his face had veins spreading around it
"get him out now!" Arad exclaimed as everyone carries out Ken from his Durandal before the medics place him on a stretcher and started pushing him away to the sick bay
"Ken!" Mikumo exclaimed but Kaname holds her back
"no, Mikumo! Not now!" Kaname exclaimed as Mikumo was worried for Ken dearly
Mikumo watches as Ken gets taken away while his blood drips on the floor
