I think you guys will enjoy this chapter as much as I enjoyed writing it.
Frankie had waited in the car and Korsak went inside the store to shop for Angela. After they had spent the evening at the Dirty Robber they got into talking. Frankie gave Korsak his blessing to pursue his mother, he knew his mom needed some happiness in her life and Korsak seemed to be the right person for the job. Korsak eventually got a smile out of her last night, he said that was a good sign. Frankie tried to find something on the radio to listen to, but it was just talk shows. Frankie had to admit, he kind of felt lonely, like maybe he would enjoy having a female companion, Korsak and Jane both seemed happy with their women. He wished he could make someone happy.
He noticed Korsak heading back to his car with a bag in one hand and a bouquet of flowers in the other, he opened the door putting the flowers in the back seat before sitting in the passenger seat, closing the door behind him.
"I was not expecting you to get flowers, what's in the bag?" Frankie tried to peak inside but Korsak smacked his hand away.
"Nothing for you," Korsak looked at Frankie, "Are you doing alright there? You looked deep in thought when I was coming over."
Frankie shook his head and pulled out of the parking lot. "Yeah I'm fine, just I've been feeling kind of lonely, you know? Hearing you talk about Ma last night it got me thinking, wishing I had someone that I could make happy."
Korsak nodded, "Aah I see, but she'll come around one day, you just have to be patient and be on your best behavior. But between you and me I think me getting shot and almost dying was what brought me closer to your mother."
"You love her, don't you? I never once seen or heard you do anything even remotely romantic to someone else before."
"Well your mother has changed me, I feel like a better man than I've ever been before meeting her. God, I've turned into a sap," he chuckled at himself.
"Yeah you definitely do love her," Frankie glanced at the older man as they pulled up to Maura's house. "Are you sure you can handle her Korsak?"
"I'm sure I can manage, we all know what you really want to ask is if she can handle me."
"She has thus far man," he shut off his car and got out. Korsak got out of the car and getting the flowers out. They walked up to the house and Frankie knocked on the door. "You would think I could have gotten a spare key by now."
"I don't think they trust you Frankie," Korsak laughed.
Angela was inside making some coffee when she heard the knock, she assumed it was Frankie she went to go open it. "Hey Frankie, I just made some coffee," she greeted her son, giving him a kiss on the cheek before he went in. She looked at Korsak and smiled, "Hi Vince. Are those for me?" she asked noticing him trying to hide the flowers.
"Yeah, I thought these would cheer you up," he handed them to her and came inside. "I also got you some other stuff," he handed her a bag.
"You really didn't need to do this Vince, I definitely wasn't expecting this," she leaned over to kiss her cheek. She went to go put the flowers in some water.
Korsak just turned to smirk at Frankie. "Told you she would appreciate this."
Angela opened the bag taking out a bottle of her favorite wine, some chocolates, and a peppermint scented candle.
Frankie just looked at Korsak. "Are you trying to seduce my mother?" a confused expression appeared on his face.
"Frankie, I don't think that is what he's trying to do," she glanced at Korsak. "Right?"
"Yeah that wasn't the point of this, just wanted to be romantic. You're the only woman I want Angela, I'm sorry about the mix up with Wanda."
Angela just smiled, "It's alright, all is forgiven, I overreacted just a little bit. You're such a sweet man Vince, I shouldn't have doubted your intentions. I was thinking in a little while we can go visit Maura, Jane left earlier to go see her. Giovanni dropped her car off this morning."
Frankie finished up his coffee before looking at the time, "Well I need to get to work, you behave yourself around my Ma Korsak," he told him, turning towards his mother. "Tell Maura I said hello, and tell Frost I plan to see him later."
"Stay safe honey, and play nice with the other detectives," she kissed Frankie's cheek before walking him to the front door. He just nodded before heading back to his car and driving off to work. Angela headed back to the kitchen looking at Korsak. "Is Frankie doing okay? He seemed kind of distracted this morning."
Korsak nodded, "Yeah, he's just a little lonely is all. I feel bad for the guy, holidays are hard when you don't have someone to spend them with. Sometimes you need a little bit more than just family around, you know?"
Angela smiled, "Yes, I know that very much. I like having you around, I know Jane probably considers you as family already, and that's a good thing right? Because I might just keep you around."
"Is that so?" Korsak looked at Angela and smirked. "I think that sounds like a good idea. I definitely wouldn't mind staying around because well..." he paused, taking her hands in his. "Angela, I love you, so very much. I didn't know how to say it, and I was trying to think of a good time to say it. But why wait to say it when I know it's how I feel."
Angela listened to his words, squeezing his hands, she felt tears start to build up in her eyes. "I was wondering when you were going to tell me. I love you too Vince," she smiled warmly at the man before leaning in to give him a kiss, her hands sliding away from his as she wrapped her arms around his neck, deepening the kiss. They have shared kisses before the past couple of days but nothing like this, the love they felt for each other pouring into the kiss. Angela offered a small moan as Korsak pulled back.
"Maybe I was trying to seduce you with my gifts," Korsak laughed and Angela rested a hand on his cheek. "Frankie wants me to behave though."
"You're already following the rules of my children, you don't have to listen to them. They hardly listen to me you know," Angela smiled. "It's too early to drink wine and eat chocolates, you can seduce me later if you'd like," she kissed his cheek before whispering in his ear, "I'd prefer it actually."
Korsak just blushed, feeling his heart beat pick up it's pace. "I-I'll keep that in mind, it's been a while for me though since I've made love to someone."
"I'm sure you'll be more than okay Vince, you just might surprise yourself. Hell, you might even surprise me," she blushed and she kissed him again, this time softly, before she pulled away slowly. A smile on her face, "I mean I don't need chocolates and wine right now to have you seduce me."
Korsak gulped, being this close to Angela made him feel things, after that last kiss and her words, he got his confidence back. "I think it's safe to say I'm pretty aroused right now."
Angela smiled, grabbing his hand and taking him to the guest house, closing the door as they entered. He pulled her into a kiss, she felt so relaxed in his arms, when he sent kisses down her neck she moaned out pretty quietly.
"Those sounds you make are going to drive me crazy," he whispered against his neck.
Clothes were shed slowly, they wanted to take their time and make their first union very special. They were both kind of nervous like two people having sex for the first time. He laid her down in bed, just admiring her naked body, he could feel himself harden. They kissed for a little bit before Korsak entered Angela, she let out a noise inbetween a moan and a low growl. Their naked bodies pressed together as they made love, making noises that were music to their ears. They felt nothing but complete love and understanding for the other. Angela in that moment knew there was nowhere else she'd rather be than right here with Korsak. No one else she would want to be with.
Twenty minutes of love making had passed when they both released, Korsak was panting slightly as he pulled out of Angela, after their first union together. He moved to lay down next to her, a smile on his face and he ran his hand against her side.
"I don't remember the last time I've felt that good Vince," she kissed his shoulder. "Thank you, this was a moment I don't think I'm ever going to forget."
Korsak smirked and nodded, "You took the words right out of my mouth. This was honestly better than I've imagined making love to you would feel like. I feel like there's no one else in the world right now. Just you and me."
Angela planted a small kiss at his chest, "The feeling is mutual," Angela looked at Korsak and smiled. "Would you be alright if we did that again?"
Korsak nodded, quite amused by Angela, "Yeah, I still got the energy for another round of love making." He leaned over kissing her softly, a hand running through her hair as she rolled so she was on top of him.
Their second union just amazing as the first. Korsak couldn't keep his eyes off of Angela. Korsak loved this woman. He made a promise to himself that he would never let her go. He didn't know that in this moment Angela was making the same exact promise to herself.
