Summary/disclaimer: time for another chapter of legendary Eyes. Enjoy the 1100-word chapter. I don't own Naruto, Masashi Kishimoto and a few others do.

Arata bent backward as two of the Akuta tried to grab him. the monsters were determined to restrain him.

Of all the times for him to take up, it was soon after he had spent over a few days' unconscious.

"Damn it, these things need to have a weakness." Arata didn't use his Rinnegan. he knew it was his trump card, but that also made it dangerous and a crutch.

"Arata." Sarada watched as he fought with the man holding tonfa in his chalk white arms.

Arata was weakened, but he was still able to parry or dodge the majority of the strikes. He scored an elbow to the man's head and kicked him back.

"He hits like Sarada." The Uchiha girl glared at him and he smiled sheepishly before backflipping to the others.

"They're all as strong as Kako… and those mud creatures are stopping me from closing in." Arata panted, obviously not fully recovered from helping take down Kako.

To fall here? that meant letting his friends down. Arata knew there was a way to win here, he just needed help.

"That one, he's different from the others. He doesn't seem normal." The bowl cut being stated as Arata turned to the others.

"Since I'm not trying the Blade of Cleansing Combustion on them, anyone have any good ideas?" Arata cracked his shoulder, knowing that his move from before wouldn't work again.

"Not yet… thanks for finally waking up from your beauty sleep." Shikadai deadpanned, he watched Arata roll his eyes.

"I'm sorry me being unconscious was an inconvenience to you." He smirked as Shikadai shrugged. Arata had a sense of humor, who would have thought?

"Are you going to keep talking or fight?" The bowl cut being asked.

The tonfa wielding man lunged forward. Arata dodged a swing at his head before smashing his knee into the being's head. The being stumbled back as Arata flipped onto his hands and launched into a cyclone of kicks.

The other being started to dodge them only to lose his footing for a moment and take a hit to the head, throwing him across the ground to the others.

"Kokuyo, your far too focused on your mission…" The cloak wielding figure stated.

"Speed and strength aren't enough to win a fight… your fighting like a beast, all fury and no subtlety." Arata readied himself for another round.

They needed to divide the group if they were going to win. Arata knew if they broke up the group, their combined skill would start winning.

Kokuyo slammed into Arata and Inojin before charging into the mountain.

"Arata! Ugh!" Boruto charged forward towards Ku before he felt lightning wash over his body. He

"Boruto!" Sarada yelled, watching Mitsuki use Snake Lightning to wound his friend before the bowl cut figure turned his palms at them.

The explosive wasps cut off their pursuit as they retreated, clutching their chests slightly before doing so. Boruto was gone along with the others.

"Arata!" Sarada, Chocho and Shikadai went to chase after their friends before the Akuta oozed towards them.

"Damn it…" Sarada muttered, knowing they wouldn't be able to help until the monsters were defeated.

(With Arata and Inojin)

Kokuyo kept trying to force the duo backward before Arata dug his feet in, leapt up and kicked the man in the face into a rock, cracking it.

"Your strong, but do you honestly have anything besides the tonfas?" Arata set himself in his fighting stance, balling his right hand near his head and pointing the other one palm open towards the man.

Arata was starting to guess from the fact that Kokuyo always closed the distance with him that he wasn't holding anything back.

He either didn't have Jutsu considering he hadn't put any actual Charka into his attacks... or he was too arrogant to believe he needed to rely on more than Taijitsu.

"Why would I care what a lowly being like you thinks?" Kokuyo asked as he and Arata circled each other.

"Your reminding me of my clan." Arata narrowed his eyes, memories flashed into his head.

"Then your clan was actually worth something." Kokuyo lunged forward as Arata met his charge head on.

"My clan are a bunch of parasites with a messiah complex, what's your excuse?" Arata asked before rearing his fist back for a punch.

He was kicked backwards and tumbled along the ground, he groaned in pain.

"You aren't human, are you?" Arata grunted as he climbed to his feet.

"No, but judging by how fast, powerful and tireless you aren't either." Arata stated, Inojin groaned and looked at the duo.

"Empathy and compassion aren't things a shinobi should have." Kokuyo struck again, going to club Arata.

This caused Arata to backflip into a crouch. Kokuyo might not have Jutsu, but his hand to hand combat skills were top notch.

"Their what make someone human… or are you saying you don't care to be human at all?" Arata asked, already knowing the answer.

"Humanity is a worthless concept." Kokuyo swung a tonfa at him before Arata knocked him away with a palm strike to the head.

"Well it's something I want, and I'm going to fight for it."

He cracked his hands, knowing that Kokuyo needed to be taken down soon… ugh, he hated waking up like this.

Still, he was at the very least able to hold his own against Kokuyo.

Inojin stood up, he was trying to come up with a plan to fight off Kokuyo, but he was far too fast for Inojin to hit.

Arata hated to admit it, but he was matched by the Fabrication, and a combination of his wounds from before and fatigue were going to end him if a plan didn't form soon enough.

Arata wondered if Sarada and the others were having an easier time then him at the moment.

He questioned if he was going to have to use his Rinnegan to win… if he got pushed much harder? He was going to.

"Pathetic." Kokuyo smirked behind his bandages, closing in as Arata panted with exhaustion.

Phew, another chapter done! I want to point out I am going to make longer fights… but the Fabrications are only going to be three after this. I also want to point out that Arata can use Almighty Push and Summoning… but all other Rinnegan abilities are not unlocked for him yet and he can and will lose fights. Next chapter will be in a week and will show the second half of the battle with Akuta and Kokuyo. Until then, Lighting Wolf out!
