Author's Note:

So just to clear this up, this short chapter will be in Shoto's point of view. It takes place right after the rescue mission, when Alex is getting interviewed by the police. I figured I should clear this up before the chapter began, because it could be a bit confusing to read. Also I have just started reading the manga, and while doing some research for this chapter and the last, I may have stumbled upon a spoiler. In other words, Toya is confirmed dead on the My Hero Academia wiki page, but because I haven't read that much of the manga, I really know nothing about it and have decided to keep Dabi as potentially being Toya in my story.

Thankfully, the rescue mission was a success. Even though the League wasn't captured, Alex was safe, therefore making it a success. I really wanted to talk to her after it was over, but then my dad decided to talk to me instead. It seemed like he was going to lecture me about something.

"Shoto, what do you think you're doing?" He said.

"Saving a classmate," I replied.

"You do realize that you could have been in big trouble if this had caused any destruction, right? Not only that but it is making me look bad, to have my son go off on wild rescue missions."

"Well for starters, nobody got hurt and nothing got destroyed. If anything, I think it was a success," I told him.

"Are you done with your retaliation?" He asked me.

"Maybe, but first I need to ask you something," I said.

"Well, what is it?"

"There was this guy, I've seen him before and I assume he's part of the league, he told me he was your son and my brother."

"What do you mean?"

"Dad, do you know what happened to Toya?"

"He passed away some time ago. Why do you ask that?"

"Because as I said earlier, this guy said he was your son and my brother. I know he isn't Natsu, so unless you have a secret child, this guy is Toya. So tell me dad, is Toya really dead, or is he just dead to you?" I exclaimed.

"Toya was in an accident."

"There's still a possibility that he isn't dead though. He could have faked his death and went on to form a new life under a new identity and.." I was cut off.

"Toya is dead, and this guy is a villain. Are you really going to believe what some villain said?" He told me.

"I wouldn't believe him if it didn't make sense. He really could despise you so much that he faked his death and became a villain. You did deem him, Natsu and Fuyumi all 'failures. Natsu blames you for Toya's demise, so it makes sense that he is alive and a villain because of you," I told him.

"Until this man confesses that he is Toya to my face, I am not going to even attempt to believe this little theory of yours. He's a villain, who was just saying things to rile you up and apparently it worked. Now if we're done here, I'll be seeing you later," he said and walked off.
