Webby skipped out of the Sun Chaser humming. Dewey and Liam followed. When Webby stepped inside their house, she called, "Granny! I'm home!" Beakly came from around the corner and scooped Webby up. "Webigail! I was so worried!" she exclaimed. Beakly set Webby down. "Granny, why are you freaking out so much?" she questioned. Beakly gathered her composure. "Nothing. You just... forgot to tell me you left that's all," she said. Webby looked at her suspiciously. "Okay. I'll tell you next time. Oh! Granny! I brought a friend!" she smiled. Dewey and Liam came in. Webby dragged Liam forward. "This is Liam," she introduced.

Beakly's eyes widened. "Liam?" she asked. Liam stuck out his hand. "That's my name," he said. Beakly shook his hand, a little off. Beakly shook her feeling off. "So, um, Liam, what brings you here?" she said, trying to make conversation. "Webby wanted me to meet Scrooge McDuck," he explained. Beakly raised an eyebrow. "So she brought you all the way here from Mouseton?" she said. Liam shrugged. Then he stopped. "How'd you know I was from Mouseton?" Before Beakly could answer, Webby pulled Liam away. "Let me introduce you to everybody else," she said.

Beakly watched after them, and Dewey went too. Beakly pulled out her phone and started to dial. But she was stopped when Ben called her first. "Oh my gosh! They're gone!" he shouted without greeting. "Relax, he's here," she calmed. "He's there?! And why should I be calm about that?" he asked. Beakly put a hand to her forehead. "Because at least he's not missing. But I'll protect them," she said. "Oh, you'll protect them. I feel so much better now," he said sarcastically. Beakly frowned. "Look. You know I don't like you, and I know you don't like me. But can we just put that aside to get them back to a safe place?" she sighed. "You just want to protect them from the truth of what you did that night," he sneered. "Alright, fine I don't want her to know. But we have to keep the truth from them for other reasons too," she argued.

There was silence between them. Beakly spoke up. "I'll convince him to go back." "Hurry, before he figures it out. They're not as naive as you think," Ben said. Beakly hung up. Man, that guy got under her skin.
