When the couple arrived back at the club house there was only a handful of people hanging around. Happy backed his bike into his usual spot and helped Lexi from behind him. After handing him his helmet she stood there awkwardly waiting for him to get off his bike. He could tell she was still anxious after what had just happened at the beach.

She usually did well holding in her anger. It was one of the first things that attracted him to her. Sure she lashed out on occasion but never at him. Even with her pregnancy hormones. Charming was turning her into a complete different person. Dismounting his bike he pulled his dorm key from his pocket.

"Here, go get ready for tonight. We need to leave in about an hour. I'm going to have a beer."

"Hap, I really am sorry. I don't know what came over me. I--"

"Baby," he cut her off, framing both side of her face with his hands. "I don't need you to be sorry. It done and behind us. I just need you Lex. You keep the crazy at bay. Back in your proper head. We will go see Ma tomorrow then go home to Tacoma. I don't want you here. I don't like the person you become when they're around."

"Okay," she told him nodding her head.

"I love you. You and Junior are always my main priorities. I'm not going to let you have a fit and try leaving or hold it against you when you do, because it will happen. I just need my Lexi back. Can you do that?"

Nodding her head again and trying to hold back her tears she replied, "I can definitely try. I love you too, Hap."

"That's all I need," he told her bringing her face to kiss and kissing her. He could feel her tears finally escaping and running down her face. Knowing a crowd was sure to be gathering at their intimate moment, he pulled back so she could rest her face on his chest, "Dry your tears before the others see and let's go inside."

They stood in each other's arms for a few minutes before her breathing evened out and she pulled back to look at him. "I'm good now. How bad is my face?"

" Eyes are still a little red but you look fine. Anyone says any different, I'll take 'em to the ring."

"My hero," she replied with a giggle tucking herself into his side. He just chuckled and walked them into the club house. Making a quick stop at the bar he grabbed a beer from the prospect and started walking her down the hall.

"Hey princess. Enjoy the beach?" Kozik asked as they passed the couch he was sitting on. Seeing her bloodshot eyes he turned to Happy, "Jesus Christ dude! The fuck did you do now Killa?"

"None of your business, it's handled," Happy told him taking a drink from his beer.

"It's just the baby. It's making me emotional," she defended.

"If you say so, but if he does anything you know I'll kick his ass for you," Kozik told her.

"I'm good Koz I promise." She gave him a quick peck on the cheek and started her way down the hall again.

"She gunna be okay?" Kozik asked him.

"Tomorrow she will be. We're gunna leave but keep it quiet," Happy told him.

"You think her parents aren't going to stop you?"

"Don't care," Happy said taking another sip of his beer. "I'll just say we're going to see Ma and leave from there."

"Hap, need your key!" He heard Lexi yell from down the hall.

"Business calls," Happy told his friend as he headed down the hall after her. "Awful bossy from back here."

"Well I only have an hour to get ready and need to shower. Care to join me?" She asked with a devilish twinkle in her eye.

"Nah, then we'll never make it on time," he told her as he pressed his body against hers while unlocking his door. As he got the door unlocked she walked into the room and he followed.

"I guess I'll wash my own back then," she said over her shoulder while removing her shirt.

"Jesus woman, you trying to make me kill my brothers for looking at you topless."

"I mean, you are the one who said they wouldn't join me," she giggled tossing her bra at him as she walked into the bathroom. The low growl she heard from the room the only answer she needed knowing he was following closely behind to join. She was bent over her shoes, pants and underwear when Happy entered the bathroom.

"Mmm my favorite position," he mumbled while sliding himself behind her and pushing her closer to the counter to brace herself. He slowly kissed and nipped his way down her back and ass until he was kneeling behind her. Spreading her legs he could already see her juices glistening on her pussy lips. Slowly he leaned in closer running his tongue up her slit. Her moans of pleasure only encouraging him more as he sucked on her sensitive nub.

"Fuuuccckkk," she drawled. As he felt her legs begin to tremble, he knew she wouldn't be able to last much longer. Standing from the floor he dropped his own pants and moved behind her. Slowly running his tip up and down her dripping folds. Pushing back against him she whined, "Please, Hap, fuck me already."

"If you say so," he told her, pushing his cock fully into her dripping core. He was sure her loud moans had been heard through the hall but he didn't care.

Once he gained control of himself, he began thrusting again. Desperate for the release they both needed. It didn't take long before he could feel her walls tightening around him. With a few more of his thrusts, her body started shaking with anticipation for the orgasm to come. Reaching around her front to rub quick circles into her sensitive bundle of nerves stars exploded behind her eyes as she came. With the vice like grip her walls had on his cock, Happy quickly followed behind filling her with his seed.

"God I missed that," Lexi said with a breathy sigh as she regained her composer and turned to start the shower.

"Hasn't been that long since we had sex," he told her leaning back against the counter.

"No but it's been awhile since we had makeup sex," Lexi told him. "You're always so careful and cautious since the baby. That wasn't. You touched me without fear of breaking me. That's what I need Hap. I need you to know I'm not glass and stop treating me like I am."

"You really feel that way?"

"Yes. I get you're worried about the baby and I love the protective side you have for us. But if you want me to go back to your Lexi, I need you to go back to my Happy, not be so cautious about every little thing. Can you do that for me?" She asked him.

"I'll try," he told her. Kissing the top of her head as he climbed in the shower he asked, " You getting in? Cause now you only have about 45 minutes til we need to be at your parents."

"Duh, last thing I need is to show up at that house smelling of sex," she said with a giggle closing the curtain behind her.

The couple showered and dressed quickly making it to Clay and Gemma's house with 5 minutes to spare. Parking his bike in the line up, Happy helped Lexi dismount before he got off himself. She stood planted to the ground just staring at the house she had grown up in. Seeing her hesitation, Happy grabbed the helmet from her and wrapped his arms around her shoulders.

"We only have to be here for a few hours. Tomorrow we leave. If things get hard, come find me," Happy whispered into her ear leading her towards the front door.

Looking up towards him she nodded her head telling him simply, "I love you."

"I love you too sweets." Happy told her knocking on the door. He didn't use the name often. She always felt it was out of character for him. But when he did, it was like he knew she needed it. Finding strength in him she opened the door to her parents and made her way to the living room with Happy still securely at her side while everyone greeted them.

"I'll get you a beer," she told him, walking towards the kitchen. Once there, she spotted her mother checking a pan on the stove while a few privileged Crow Eaters were also working on various parts of dinner. "Anything you need help with?"

"Oh, princess! I didn't even realize you were here," her mother gushed. "I think everything is handled. You go rest, you look exausted."

"Of course I'm exhausted. It's called pregnancy, Ma. The baby is literally a parasite feeding off of me for every little thing," she replied with an eye roll and grabbing Happy a beer from the fridge.

"Now Lexi, let's not talk about that little bundle of joy like that!" Said a voice from behind her. Lexi spun around to see none other than Luanne Delaney. Her surrogate mother while growing up for the more sensitive subjects that Lexi and Gemma butted heads on.

"Mama Lu!" Lexi said excitedly jumping into the woman's arms for a hug. "I've missed you!"

"Well ya know where I am child. You're the one who hasn't been coming home. But I guess now I know why. Who would have thought you'd be the one to tie down the Tacoma Killer."

"In all honesty, that wasn't originally my plan. I was just showing my trained club hospitality to give him a place to stay that wasn't a nasty hotel. I would have done it for any of the guys had they walked in my bar that night," Lexi explained, knowing full well there was something about Happy that made her extend the offer that night despite trying to keep away from the club life. She heard the scoff behind her from a Crow Eater but chose to ignore it. The last thing she needed right now was to pop off in her parents home. "I gotta run him this beer but I'll be right back so we can catch up."

"Atleast she wants to spend time with you," Gemma told her oldest friend as her daughter left the room. "I have to fight for her to talk to me."

"Don't get your panties in a bunch. You and that girl are too similar and stuck in your ways. That's why you've always butted heads," Luanne told her coming to stand beside Gemma. Grabbing another dish to take to the table she leaned in and whispered in her friends ear, "Just be glad she's close to me and not these cock mongers."

Both women laughed as they went to the table. Looking into the living room, Gemma couldn't help but feel her heart swell. Her family was finally all back together. Lexi was currently standing beside Happy with her arms wrapped around his waist and a small smile on her face, while Happy talked with Tig and Bobby. Jax was playing some video game against Juice and Clay was sitting smoking a cigar in the corner with Chibs. Seeing the scene in front of her, Gemma knew she'd do anything to keep Lexi in Charming and add her grandbaby running around the group of bikers into the mix. She knew Lexi was trying to go back to Washington but didn't care. Little did either woman know, Clay had a plan up his sleeve to keep Lexi home. A plan that would go into effect tonight.

"Dinner's ready everyone! Let's eat," Gemma announced to the room. Everyone shuffled into the dining room quickly taking their seats and waiting for the words of the club's matriarch to dig in. "We have many reasons to be happy tonight and I just wanted to celebrate them as a family. Club business is handled, Lexi's home, and there will soon be a new mini Son running around. Things like this are celebrated as a family. So I wanted to make sure all of our family was here for that. Dig in everyone."

Lexi couldn't help the eye roll she gave off at her mother's speech. No matter how affectionate they acted though, Lexi knew Happy's plan. They'd say they were going to see his ma tomorrow in Bakersfield and head home to Tacoma from there.

Happy knew it was becoming difficult for Lexi to be in Charming. Too many bad memories. She just needed to be back on their turf to get her head straight. Giving her knee a squeeze under the table, Happy started filling his plate along with everyone else. Gemma may be a bitch, but the woman could cook and that wasn't something you passed up on.

The couple made small talk with the club's other members during the meal. Lexi careful to mind her best manners knowing she was under Gemma's watchful eye. As the meal wrapped to a close, the Crow Eater's took to cleaning as the men ventured into the back yard to start a small fire and continue drinking. Lexi was washing dishes and handing them to Bec for drying as she heard a repeat of the scoff from before. Deciding she wasn't going to just let it go this time, Lexi turned to see a typical Crow Eater. A poor excuse of clothes barely covering the girl's fake breasts, platinum blonde hair so light it practically glowed, More makeup than you'd see on an average drag queen. Addressing the girl Lexi asked, "Can I fucking help you?"

"Who me?" She feigned innocence. "No I was just shocked to see the princess gets her hands dirty. Not to mention the fact that you're so close to Bec after what you did to her face."

"Sarah, quit your shit," Bec said quickly intervening. "I'll call Gem in if I have to."

"No it's fine Rebecca," Lexi said. "Look cunt, she got a lesson. Which she was taught, has learned and is respecting. One I can gladly repeat now for yourself. But do realize, my Old Man isn't in here to pull me off this time. So your face will look much worse I promise."

"How dare you! Who the fuck do--"

"Let me cut you off right there. You know who I am. Not only am I the club President's daughter, the VP's sister but I'm also SAMTAC's enforcer's Old Lady. Better know as the Tacoma killer, in case you needed a reminder. I have such high standing in this club, I could make you to eat trash off the ground and none of the men in this charter, better yet, the entire club would even question it," Lexi told her taking slow determined steps closer. "Keep it up and you'll never darken the doorway of any club house ever again. Clean this shit up and get gone. I don't want to see you any more tonight."

Not even waiting for an answer she grabbed her drink off the counter, a new beer for Happy from the fridge and made her way to the back yard to find him. Scanning the yard she found him quickly sitting in the corner with her brother and made her way over to him. Lexi sat on the arm of his chair before handing him the beer she had brought out.

"Thanks babe. I was getting low." Looking at her, Happy could tell something was bothering her. He wrapped his arms around her waist and pulled her into his lap before whispering in her ear, "Everything okay?"

"Mhm, just bitchy Crow Eaters thinking they rule the roost," She told him. Snuggling into his arms she continued, "But I'm definitely better now."

"You seriously going after Bec again?" Jax asked with a chuckle.

"No, some bitch named Sarah. She's obviously new seeing as she felt the need to goat me for doing dishes," Lexi replied with an eye roll and took a drink of her tea.

"Watch out for her. Clay keeps that one close and her little friend Jenny," Jax told her shaking his head.

"Lovely."

"You'll be fine, Lex," Happy told her with a kiss to the top of her head.

Lexi knew she shouldn't have to worry. Clay had always had his little pets but none had ever felt the need to step to Lexi like Sarah just had in the kitchen. She knew she would be gone soon so she was trying not to let it bother her. Now that she was sitting in Happy's arms while the boys chatted around her, she could feel the exhaustion of the day getting to her. Not wanting to fight sleep anymore, she closed her eyes knowing Happy would wake her when he was ready to leave.

Jax and Happy had sat for about an hour before Juice came running over. "Guys, Clay needs us to go help out Tig. Guess he got himself in trouble in Mayan territory."

"Fuck, I can't. I've got Lex," Happy said.

"Ma's still got her room set up. We could lay her in there while we're gone. That way she's safe," Jax told him.

Shifting Lexi so he could stand, Happy started walking into the house. He didn't want to leave her but knew he couldn't run her to the club house and make it to Tig on time. Not to mention if he didn't go now, there would be repercussions for choosing Lexi over the club and they needed an easy get away tomorrow.

"Ma, Hap is going to leave Lex in her room while we go check on Tig. That cool?" Jax asked Gemma who was sitting on the couch with Luanne.

"Of course! Her room is all still set up," Gemma told the men, standing to lead Happy into Lexi's room.

Happy laid her on the bed, giving her a light kiss to the forehead. She hadn't even stirred in the time since she fell asleep. Happy would usually be worried but he knew she was exhausted. Waiting until he heard her soft snores start again he met with Jax back in the living room to head out.

"Let's ride."
