You Can Leave Your Hat On-Ch 19
`Derek sat down beside of JJ's mom and turned to glance around at all of the guests, he then caught a glimpse of Penelope and boy did she look amazing in her peach colored bridesmaid dress. The music started and first out was Jack Hotchner, he was carrying the wedding bands on a light blue pillow.
He slowly made his way up the aisle and when he got to the front of the church he walked over and stood in front of his very proud daddy, Aaron Hotchner, seconds later everybody watched as Penelope made her way up the aisle toward the bridal party, she looked so beautiful and the way her dress hugged her body was making Derek wish the wedding and reception was over so they could head home and he could strip her clothes off of her and spend the night showing her how much he loved her.
As she made her way past him she winked at Derek, he felt his heart racing and quickly winked back at her, she finally made it across from the groom and his groomsmen as Emily started making her way toward them. Her dress was pink and she too looked very beautiful and he could tell by the smile on Hotchs face that he totally agreed with that.
The bridal march started and everybody stood up and turned to face the back of the church as JJ and Scott made their way slowly up the aisle to join the others. JJ had her arm looped through her fathers and her eyes on Reid, she couldn't get over how handsome he was in his tux and she couldn't wait to get him out of it later.
When they finally made their way to the front of the church Scott kissed JJ on the cheek and said, "you look so beautiful Jennifer", he then put her hand in Spencers and then walked over and sat down beside his wife. The minister said, "you may be seated" and everybody sat down and then all attention went to the bride and groom.
As the ceremony started the minister said, "we are gathered here today in front of God and these witnesses to join together in the bonds of matrimony Spencer Elliot Reid and Jennifer Catherine Jareau in the bonds of holy matrimony". He looked from the nervous couple to the front row as he said, "who gives this woman to this man in matrimony"?, Scott stood up and said, "her mother and I do" and then sat back down.
Sandy intertwined fingers with Scott as the minister looked down at Jack and asked for the rings, Jack stepped forward and held up the pillow and the minister took them and laid them on his opened bible. He looked at Jack and said, "thank you", Jack smiled and said, "you're welcome" and then walked back over and stood in front of Hotch.
The minister then said a short prayer and then looked at Reid and said, "Spencer take this ring and put it on Jennifers hand and then repeat after me". Reid took the ring and slid it on her ring finger and blew out a deep breath as he readied to follow the ministers instructions.
Reid heard, "I Spencer take you Jennifer to be my lawfully wedded wife, I promise to love, honor and cherish you all of the days of my life", he gently squeezed JJ's hand and smiled lovingly at her. The minister then looked at JJ and said, "Jennifer take this ring and put it on Spencers ring finger and then repeat after me".
JJ shakily took the ring from the minister and smiled as she slid it on his ring finger, she then said, "I Jennifer take you Spencer to be my lawfully wedded husband, I promise to love, honor and cherish you all of the days of my life". The minister looked at the family and friends and said, "if anybody can show just cause why these two can't be lawfully joined, let them speak now or forever hold their peace".
After a few seconds he said, "by the powers vested in me by this state I now pronounce you husband and wife", he grinned at the newlyweds and said, "Spencer you may kiss your bride". He cupped her face in his hands and leaned in and pressed his lips against hers gently and lovingly.
As they pulled apart the minister said, "ladies and gentlemen it gives me great pleasure to introduce you to Mr. and Mrs. Spencer Reid" and after exchanging another kiss the happy couple turned around and started walking back up the aisle with their friends and family clapping their hands and shouting their congratulations.
