To everyone reading. Thank you I never thought I would continue this story or that I would pull it out of its obscurity. I had a lot of fun letting the creative juices flow and writing a story again. I apologize if this chapter is kind of rough, still getting back into the swing of things.

Chapter 16

Gina's POV

Tick…tock…tick…tock… Every minute waiting in silence was torture. Weeks of planning, strategizing, and manipulating finally landed her back on the road with Octavia and Miller headed towards the shore of the beach where they last found Bellamy. "You're the best thing that's happened to me..You're the best thing that's happened to me..." The words of hope that Bellamy offered to her before they left for the damned shore. This was a mantra that Gina played incessantly in her mind during the sleepless nights, as she mumbled to herself in the backseat of the car remembering the fleeting moments she had with her lover.

"You sure she's not slippi-"

Gina heard Miller's comment but didn't even turn her head. "SHHH", she heard Octavia snapback at Miller. They closed the divider between the front and back seats of the car before the murmuring continued. Gina didn't care, she didn't care that the whole camp thought she was losing it. She knew that once Bellamy came back, things would be good. Things would be great. Bellamy hid all of her demons, he filled her in ways with his words and his presence. Gina started to reminisce about all the good times they had. From their last conversations to the sweet kisses stolen in the bunker. His tender eyes, and curly locks. The way his nose creased when he laughed, and how he tousled his hair when he was nervous. The sheer image of him caused the tears to roll down her face. She knew the moment he saved her on the ark that she would do anything to have him, to have him reciprocate his feelings for her, to be his girl. With him she felt safe and protected, and that was all she needed to be happy.

"You're the best thing that's happened to me..You're the best thing that's happened to me..."

"We're here", she heard Octavia say as the car came to a halt. "Don't get too excited Gina," Miller added. "We've got company".

Luna & Kalos rested on the beach, discussing how to best retrieve their 'princess' from the hands of the stranger. Kalos had personally suggested assassinating him, to which Luna could not bear to give the order for. She loved Rachelle like a mother loved her daughter, and she knew about the effects that kind of pain could bear on her heart. "The fire is back in your eyes Kalos. I have not seen such fire since you heard that our dear Rachelle had perished. Certainly you know better than to be controlled by your feelings for her."

Kalos dipped his head down. "My allegiance is forever unbending to you and the commander". Seeing through his lies and front Luna ushered a smile in his direction. Continuing to smile, she spoke softly to Kalos, "We have guests". Kalos turned around to a gun pointed straight at his temple.

"Where is Bellamy?" Gina pushed through her clenched teeth, hand shaking.

"Only a person who is prepared to die should be in the position to kill." Luna said as she stood up holding a dagger to her own face. "Kill my warrior and you shall find that I'm not so merciful when put in the position of exacting revenge." Kalos, flipped out from underneath the gun and disarmed Gina in a second, locking her in his arms by the neck. "We do not know of this Bellamy you seek." His gaze returned to Luna as he awaited the kill order.

"Liar", Gina said through her choked breath. Instantly Octavia and Miller approached the group, armed. "Let go of her." Octavia demanded.

Shocked, Kalos turned his head to Luna and said in Trideslang "she looks just like him." Shocked, Luna turned around as the petite brunette replied in the same tongue, "tell me where my brother is". Luna smiled at the interesting turn of events, slowly walking over to Gina and Kalos. "Perhaps we can strike a deal", she chimed. "Our motives are the same. You want the boy and we want the girl. We were not the ones to take your people away from you, the cards of fate have simply dealt us with this unlucky hand that we must now correct…potentially together. We know where he is so it's much more advantageous to you to work with us, that way no one gets hurt and we all get what we want. Of course, you could try to kill us now, but then you'll never find your brother and my soldiers would have you all gathered and harpooned before you could make a break to your car." Ordering Kalos to drop Gina, Octavia grabbed the choking girl over to their side. Looking around and spotting the dozens of men hiding in plain sight, she reluctantly gave in. "We're listening."

Rachelle's POV

Picking plants and foraging for food was never one of Rachelle's specialties. Many a times she spent days in bed with an upset stomach from eating the poisonous variety of the edible plants. She was lucky she was a nightblood as it seemed to make her more resistant to even the most common ailments, saving her from death more times than needed. Picking the last of her potatoes, she got up to start walking back to her hut. A pep in her step and a flower in her hair, even the sun seemed to shine brighter as she thought of her beloved, her husband. As she passed the waterfall, she blushed ferociously reliving the many times they had consummated their relationship behind the rushing waters. The smile faded as the visage of her childhood friend flashed past the waters, one she presumed to be dead. "Kalos?" Rachelle whispered to herself as she dropped her basket of potatoes chasing after the image across the water. She continued to chase him, not knowing if he was real or not. As soon as she would think he had materialized in front of her, his shadow would vanish again to the next location leaving her on a goose chase. She continued to chase the shadow not knowing where it would lead.

Gina's POV

Gina followed Octavia and Miller as they led the way to the hut following the directions that the warrior grounder had given them. Gina couldn't comprehend the emotions she was feeling. Was it relief knowing he was alive or anticipation that happiness was within grasp? "We just take him and leave right?" Miller was going over the plan with Octavia and Gina. "The grounder said something about them two being in love? I find that hard to believe because Gina's right here.", Octavia added. "Bellamy must be hurt or being held against his will if he's stayed that long with her with no way out". Yeah. Hurt. Against his will, Gina thought to herself. Bellamy was her happiness, she deserved it after all she had been through, all he had saved her from. There was no way he was in love with another. She was in love with him. Gina rummaged in her pocket for the tranquilizers that she stole from Abby before leaving for this expedition. She would carry him home by force if she had to.

"Quiet". Miller approached the shrubbery surrounding the steaming hut.

"Rachelle?" A familiar voice rang out. That's the bitch's name, Gina thought to herself. The sudden relief caused her to lose balance as the group made it past the shrubs. when all she wanted to do was run to him, her legs buckled in relief instead, as she dropped to the floor.

"Bellamy" Octavia smiled and walked closer to him. Gina saw as she shuffled towards him, he took a step back, eyes wide with fear, as he clutched his temples like he had a massive headache.

"Is that…my name?" Bellamy responded. "Who are you all? Did I know you before?" Tears began to roll down Gina's face. He didn't remember. He didn't know who they were. Speechless, she listened on.

"It's me, Octavia. Your sister. Don't you know me? We're here to bring you back home, where you belong. Bellamy listen to m-".

"STOP" He shouted as he clutched his head with both his hands. To Gina it seemed like he was fighting a war within himself. But she was unable to brace herself for what came next. "I don't know who you are, but if you were people that cared for me and knew me, please know that I'm happy here. I've found the greatest thing for me in my partner and we just want to live here together happily."

Gina's blood boiled. She fought the weakness in her knees and started to stand up. "I can't just let you go Bellamy", Octavia added. "You used to say all the time my sister my responsibility, well, you're my brother and my responsibility. I can't lose you again Bellamy, I need you in my life as we all do." As Gina gathered herself up, a long silence and pause entered the conversation. She looked into the pained eyes of the man she loved. Out of the corner of her eye, she saw a figure of the girl running out of the shrubbery on the other side of the hut towards him. As Bellamy opened his mouth and began to speak she stopped in her steps.

"To be honest, I want to get to know you too. I don't remember anything about myself and I made my peace with that when I started my life here. But I would be lying if I said I didn't want to be your brother. Seeing you, a person that looks so much like me, it confuses me. It makes me happy to know I belonged somewhere on this Earth. That so many people cared for me, you have no idea how much that fills my heart. I know that I have that love for you inside sister. I know in my heart that I used to do so much for you just to make you smile. I don't have the memories, but the feelings are there. Bu-".

Gina saw the fear and confusion in the girl's eyes behind Bellamy. Taking the future into her own hands, she ran up to Bellamy stopping him in his speech and hugging him tightly.

"Bellamy you're home. I missed you so much. It's ok that you don't have your memories, we can work to bring them back. I love you and have missed every moment with you. I'm so happy to have finally found you so that we can continue our lives together." Tears welled up in Gina's eyes and she crashed her lips onto Bellamy's before he could protest, arms furiously wrapping around his neck. Peering from her half open eyes, Gina saw the tears and shock on the girl's face. She skillfully pushed the tranquilizer into Bellamy's neck with one hand, out of sight from all, and she felt him start to slump in her arms. "I love you too." She said a little louder with emphasis. "I can't wait to pick up where we left off."

Gina watched as the girl ran away from the scene, fleeing into the forest. Her legs gave in as she slumped to the floor with Bellamy, finally giving into his weight. Octavia and Miller ran to help support his fall. Gina motioned, "Quick, let's get him to the car before she decides to come back."
