CLARITY

"Allow me to make myself clear, Anka," said Azula sternly. "Priceless Fire Nation artifacts do not go in your mouth."

Anka blinked her wide bright eyes.

Azula, Ty Lee, their one-year-old and the Fire Lord himself lounged in the depths of the palace in the late afternoon as Azula held the baby up and stared right at it, setting the artifact beside her.

"You know she's an infant, right?" said Zuko.

Azula set Anka back down and huffed.

"Hey," snapped Ty Lee from her perch on the table, "we don't critique your parenting."

Zuko snorted and leaned back. "Azula never stops critiquing my parenting."

Ty Lee pouted and glowered at her brother-in-law. "Well, I don't and I think Azula is doing perfect."

Azula smirked at her wife.

Ty Lee smiled back.

Anka shoved the priceless artifact back into her mouth.
