iT'S BEEN A WHILE, IM BACK

Five Months Later

As winter started to wither away spring had sprung, and graduation was officially only 1 month away. The gang had been doing better than ever and senior skip day was fresh on their minds. They decided they were going to make the most of it and go away for the weekend, leaving Friday Saturday and Sunday to have one last hurrah before they would all be apart. It wasn't like they wouldn't get together for holidays but over the last year they'd all be come especially close. Leaving was going to be hard for everyone, but they were all doing what felt right for them and that's what mattered.

For senior skip day Lexa had suggested they could fly to her parent's beach house in Malibu but everyone agreed that was a little too much, so they settled for the lake house. Although the house was riddled with some bad memories (Luna) there were some good ones, it was after all where Clarke and Lexa first made love. Even though she was apprehensive about the trip Clarke was also extremely excited to spend time with her girl and her friends.

"Babe, do you think it will be too cold to swim in the lake?" Clarke asked Lexa as she packed her clothes.

"If it is, we can always get in the hot tub, we didn't get to use it the last time we went down."

"So, do you think we'll run into anyone we know?" Clarke eyed the brunette.

"If you mean Luna, I don't know, and I don't care Clarke. I also don't want to relive old fights." Lexa smiled.

"I don't either, I love you Lex but if we see her down there, I don't want there to be any problems." Clarke sighed.

"We want the same things beautiful, now hurry up and finish packing I think Raven will kill us if we don't get on the road soon."

"Fine, I guess I'll settle for the clothes I already packed, I do like to have at least 20 outfits minimum though."

"You know, I'd prefer if you had on no clothes at all." Lexa whispered in the blonde's ear before walking downstairs.

"You're just going to walk off after saying that, really babe?" Clarke yelled.

"Come on blondey, we're going to be late. Lexa replied.

In one car was Lexa, Clarke, Ontari and echo, and in the other one was Octavia, Raven, Monty and Jasper. The drive was only an hour but Raven being the impatient person she was decided to complain the whole drive annoying all her car mates.

"Ughhhgg, this drive seemed so much quicker last year." Raven groaned.

"Maybe because you had a lovely bottle of alcohol to keep you company." Octavia replied.

"Oh yeah."

"Wonder if a certain blonde will also be visiting her beach house this weekend as well." Jasper tried to casually mention Harper.

"Wow one kiss like 8 months ago and you're still thinking about it?" Raven laughed.

"We still text every now and again, and as I recall you lost 100 dollars that weekend."

"And I've never been so happy to lose 100 dollars."

"Anyways I'm more worried about running into Luna." Octavia said.

"Oh lord, I totally forgot about that whole situation." Monty chimed in.

"So glad I don't have to be in that car this time around." Raven smiled. "But seriously I hope we don't see her we need a good chill weekend."

"Agreed." Octavia replied.

When the group arrived, they parked and headed inside, the house was just as stunning as the last time they were here.

"Boys you wouldn't mind getting the bags, would you?" Raven smiled.

"What else are we here for." Monty rolled his eyes.

"That's the spirit." Octavia smiled.

"Same rooms as before?" Lexa asked.

"Sounds cool."

"Ontari and Echo I can show you guys to a room." Lexa offered.

"Lead the way." Ontari replied.

"I don't know if this is even possible, but this place got even more beautiful than before." Clarke took in the view of the lake through the full glass windows.

"It definitely ages well." Raven added.

"So, what are we doing first?" Octavia asked as everyone started returning to the Livingroom.

"Hot tub?" Lexa suggested.

"Food?" Clarke and Raven said at the same time.

"Lake?" Monty suggested.

"Is this the part where we all do our own thing?" Jasper asked.

"Seems like it, me and Rae will cook while you guys do whatever your heart desires." Clarke said.

"Sounds good." Jasper replied.

Meanwhile in the kitchen Clarke was hard at work while Raven designated herself as the taste tester.

"Why I even suggest you help cook is beyond me." Clarke rolled her eyes as the girl sat on the counter eating anything in sight.

"I'm helping, how else would you know your spaghetti sauce needed more salt." Raven smiled.

"Thank god for you." Clarke faked praised the girl.

"So, I just want you to know that if we see Luna, I'll happily punch her for you." Raven said with a conniving smile.

"No Rae, I love you for offering but I'm over that Lexa is mine and if she doesn't know that by now then that's her problem. Clarke sighed. "If we see her, we'll be polite and move on.

"Very mature of you."

"I know right, now be useful and get some bowls out of the cabinet please." Clarke smiled.

After everyone had eaten everyone went back to their rooms to start getting dressed. They decided to go to the boardwalk and do some shopping just to kill time and hangout. The last time they were here is was festival season, so it was busier but know there were just locals and the occasional vacationer.

"You look beautiful as always baby." Lexa smiled as she watched her girlfriend walk around in her black body con dress. It was honestly mesmerizing how amazing the blonde's body was, and that dress only added to it.

"Flatterer." Clarke smirked as she slipped her docs on. It was April but still a little to breezy for sandals.

"You have no idea what that dress I doing to me right now." Lexa whined.

"You could always show me."

"Later, when I have you all to myself I will." Lexa connected their lips before pulling Clarke to her feet and towards the front room where everyone was waiting.

"Ready? "Lexa asks.

"Let's get this party started.

The walk to the boardwalk was quick and surprisingly a lot of people were out.

"I saw a vintage store when we were here last time that I have to see." Clarke said.

"You had me at vintage." Echo smiled.

"Who doesn't love vintage." Ontari added.

"I think I'm going to hit the jewelry store; I want to see if I can find Lincoln anything for our Anniversary." Octavia added.

"How about you guys head their and me and O will hit the jewelry store." Lexa suggested.

"Sound good to me. What about you guys?" Clarke turned to Jasper, Monty and Raven.

"I saw a video games store, so you know where we'll be."

"I guess I'll join these nerds." Raven said before walking off with the guys.

"We meet here in 30?" Clarke said.

"We'll be here." Lexa kissed the girl before walking off.

The vintage store was absolutely insane, there was so much to look and probably some of the best prices Clarke had ever see on Vintage items.

"Echo, you need this." Clarke held up a pair of Black 70's style flare pants with slits down the side. "These would be perfect for a concert." Echo was in a band she formed with a couple classmates, they played small shows, but people really liked them including Clarke.

"These are sick, I have to get them." Echo admired the jeans before throwing them over arm to hold.

"Speaking of when is your next show?" Clarke asks the girl.

"Babe I think Clarke might be your biggest fan." Ontari smiled, she loved that the two girls got along so well.

"I'm not afraid to admit it either." Clarke smiled as she continued to look through the clothes. When she first heard Echo's band, she immediately thought Fleetwood mac 70's vibes and she loved it.

"We actually have a show at delinquents, Roan is trying to get some customers in, so I offered to play. He has a stage in there so why not."

"That sounds cool, I'll be there." Clarke smiled.

She picked out a few items and was ready to check out, she had even convinced Ontari to buy a few things.

"Did you find everything alright sweetheart?" The cashier asks.

"Yes, there's so much to look at, how did you get all this stuff?" Clarke asks.

"Most of it we buy whether that's estate sales or from people who come in. I myself have put a lot of my valuables in here, like those pants your friend has I wore to a runaway's concert when I was a teen." The cashier pointed to the pants Echo was holding.

"Wow, really? Joan Jett was in the same room as these pants once?"

"Front row, though back then if you knew the right person or was willing to the right things you could get any seat at any concert." The smirked.

"That's so amazing." Echo smiled. "What was the craziest concert you ever went to?"

"Fleetwood Mac of course." The women replied with no hesitation.

"I want to be you." Clarke said dazingly and Echo just agreed.

"You guys have plenty of time to do fun stuff like that, although I can say music will never be like the 70's again." The woman sighed.

"Agreed." Echo replied.

"Alright girls it 65 even."

"For everything? Are you sure?" Clarke asked confused.

"More than sure." The woman winked.

"Thank you so much." Clarke smiled. As they were walking to the exit a silver infinity necklace caught Clarkes eye. It looks just like the one Lexa had tattooed on her wrist. "How much for this?" Clarke held up the necklace.

"It's on the house." The woman smiled.

Before leaving Clarke went her wallet and took out her emergency 100 bill and shoved it in the tip jar. The nice women had given them at least 3 free items which would have put the total well over 200.

After walking down, the boardwalk the girl's decided to sit on a near by bench while waiting for everyone else. It was a quiet as the sun started going down, it was a beautiful sunset that Clarkes glad she got to see with her friends. Everything in life seem great and when things seem great that often means they won't be for much longer right? Isn't that how it works, Clarke quickly let her brain flood with ways her life could go down hill at this very moment. She could not get into NYU, she could be purposeless forever, she could lose her amazing friends.

"Hey Clarke." A familiar voice said from behind the girls.

Or she could run into her girlfriend's ex crush who she hasn't seen since she kissed before mentioned amazing girlfriend.
