I was wondering when someone would tell me to pull my head in. You're not wrong either, although, I'm only telling one story with different aspects. Two chapters have been flashbacks. The rest, different perspectives. I must apologise as this chapter is not what you asked for either.
The woman breathed heavily, but that didn't bother her. She was free! The thought made her grin as she walked down the road, a skip in her step. She didn't know where she was but she didn't care anyway. Maybe she should take the little girl up on the wings, running wasn't doing much good.
"Hey. Show me how to use them." It was a command, one she knew her small host would answer, and answer she did.
"This is painful, no wonder you rarely put them away." She groaned as she fell to all fours. "Are you a masochist?"
Her lips quirked at the feelings that rolled through her in response, indignation, annoyance and a huff. It distracted from the pain at least.
She looked back at the black wings. "These are better. Though, the blood stained wings you normally bear are… nice." Disbelief shot through her, quickly followed by a sigh and she laughed. Tormenting the hopeful child in her head was fun, although, she was aware that without her she wouldn't have any fun at all.
"My Darling Jasmine," that got her attention. "What will you do when we see our Angel?"
She huffed, hurt, pain, sadness. She rolled her eyes ignoring the dumb girl. "Fool." She hissed the word and didn't wait for her to respond before she bent her legs and shot into the air.
She could spend hours berating her but that would only send her into the shadows of their mind and in more ways than one, she needed the fool just like she needed her.
Sharing a body was an interesting thing for them. She wondered if Angel could tell when one took over from the other. She didn't really care. She wasn't as invested in the angel as her counterpart was.
"What are you thinking, My Love?" She laughed at the response, they truly could not hide anything from each other, but she had done a good job of hiding her from Ivy, that was something neither of them wanted to deal with. It helped that Ivy didn't know what she was dealing with when she was in Jasmine's pretty little head.
Demon's lips curled quietly, she'd truly been let out of her box, and she was using that free time to find the dumb angel. How ironic. She licked her lips, tasting blood and not caring whose it was.
"We'll find her." She responded to the questioning pulse, chuckling as it went to concerned and nervous. "You just relax in there and let me handle this, weren't you tired before? Scared of her rejection?" She waited a beat before laughing at the weak pulse, no life behind it.
"Oh don't be like that. I still need you, you've made that quite clear, but the same can be said of you and me."
They were silent before she hummed, her little counterpart was wondering if they should stop looking for Angel, that was interesting.
"What are you thinking?" Truth be told she was hoping for a distraction, she was bored after all and wondering how she did it, living a mundane life.
"Interesting." She considered what she was looking at and the feelings behind her eyes. "Oh you are a terror, what would your little sisters say if they knew what thoughts you could come up with on your own?" She ignored the scared, hurt and ashamed pulse she got in response. "Don't be like that, we'll find your Angel and fix her."
She ignored the shot of fear, letting her stew in her words. She'd never get tired of tormenting her, her reactions were amazing after all.
"Don't be like that, teasing you is the same as teasing Angel, much like Samantha and Kimberly if you wi- …why are you groaning? … That is their names! … Formality? You are unbelievable!"
She huffed as they fell silent, the day passed quick enough but in ways it was agonisingly slow. Demon steadily grew aware of what was going on inside her head and flicked it.
"Lighten up in there. Gods damned. Who died? … Oh… shit."
Demon decided to let her softer half deal with what she was feeling and pet her cheek gently, although she was nearly slapping herself as she had no idea what the word gentle meant.
"Huh?" She stopped midair, wings slowly flapping to keep them lifted. "Do I think she would have said yes? Well after this…" She stopped, well aware that what she said next was very important.
"Ah… would she have said yes? Well, if she was anything like me… probably not, but if she's like you then maybe? I don't know?" She was neither subtle or wordy and it showed. The wave of disappointment hit her like a fist. "Do you want break up music or…? Ow!"
She stopped flapping at the next feelings, sadness, hurt, acceptance. "If we fix her she might still say yes!" She yelled the words to the empty air and then realised that they were falling. "Oh shit!" She yelped as she tried to avoid being a splatter in the middle of nowhere.
"Just… keep your head up. You're thinking too much." She nearly laughed at the feeling that got her. Irritation, amusement, and exasperation. "See? All isn't lost yet."
Demon grinned as she continued on her way. "It's just like that time, you know? When she went missing before and you thought she'd ditched you again." She smirked at the repeated feeling. "I'd been right then, I'm going to be right this time. Then you'll have to let me out to slaughter again."
She smiled as she got a huff and hope. She ran her hand through her hair, trying to sooth the fragile girl. "Hey, should we head home? Our thigh's been ringing on and off for the past two hours." She waited for confirmation and soon landed. They ate dirt but that was okay. For Demon anyway.
"You're a shit flyer."
"Shut up, hijacking thoughts isn't allowed." The emotions that followed only served to reinforce her statement. Smug, amused, exasperated.

Ivy hesitated about opening the portal, something felt off in Jasmine's head, but she did so anyway and watched as a massive walking bone stepped through. A skull grinned at her, silver eyes burning through black holes.
A chill went through Ivy as she looked back at the monster. This was not Jasmine and a simple glance told her it wasn't.
She was backing up before she could stop, the grin became a lot more sharp and threatening.
"I think we scared her." The voice was Jasmine's but it wasn't her talking. Ivy paused as she felt an answer come from inside the monster's head. "Hey! No, I'm staying at the front!" The voice had started as a shout but turned to a whine as it was forced back.
"Ivy." She jumped as she watched the woman before her change. The plates of bone receding into her skin. "Tell me what I've missed."

"Who decided to leave you alone with her?" Shego nearly leapt out of her skin. She twisted to look over her shoulder as Jasmine stepped out of a portal. She froze as it was clear she hadn't taken the time to wash or change.
"What the hell happened to you?" She asked, ignoring the question as the portal closed behind her. Demon hummed amused and tossed a collar into Shego's lap. "What is this?"
"A mute collar. I'm surprised your pant's groin isn't soaked." She was heading out of the room already.
"Like you can talk!" Shego barked the words at her and she turned. "You're soaked in blood. What the hell happened?"
She let out a growl, eyes narrowing and sharp teeth on display. "What the hell happened to your mouth!?" She waved her hand flippantly.
"Whatever happened to your Kimmie happened to my Angel. I got the shit kicked out of me so decided to return the favour."
Shego looked at her intently. "And this?" She held up the collar.
"A gift." She smirked devilishly at them and Shego's eyes went wide. She would have thrown the collar at the back of Demon's head but she was already gone.
"What a nice gift. If I didn't enjoy the sounds you made so much I might have used it… Although I can think of some places it will come in handy." Shego's head snapped to the smirking Kim and she had a few seconds to act.
"Pumpkin. I don't want to use this."
"But?"
"But… I will if you continue with that line of thought." Kim pouted at her and Shego let out a long breath as she looked away. That pout could break her if she let it.
"Killjoy." Kim huffed as she looked at the plasma user who raised her brow in response. She crossed her arms and raised her brow calmly.
Normally Kim would start squirming under such a look but nothing about this situation was normal. Shego was frowning at the redhead while the redhead tried not to let her smirk push past her faux innocence.
"Kimmie, as far as I know you're still innocent, trying to act like you're not isn't working." Shego sighed as she rubbed her face tiredly. The mute collar hung between her fingers and Kim seemed to be watching it intently.
Shego didn't want to know what was going through the other woman's head as she set the collar on the coffee table away from both of them. She sighed as she rubbed her face tiredly.
That was her mistake.
There was a click as something closed around her throat. Shego froze for a split second and then she slammed Kim into the floor. Fury sparked in her emerald eyes as she glared into olive. Her lips peeled back in a silent snarl, a very silent snarl.
Kim's look was mischievous as she looked at Shego, hands resting lightly around her neck. "I like your little noises, but now, when you're forcefully silenced, I have to wonder what noises you would make if you could."
Shego tried to growl, she could feel the vibrations that normally came with speaking but there was no sound. Her hands fisted in Kim's shirt, eyes burning with silent rage. Kim looked into her eyes and laughed softly, stroking the fires of Shego's rage.
"Oh. I think I'll help myself then." She twisted her hips, tossing Shego off her before she straddled her, a cheshire grin on her face. Her hands moved down Shego's neck and fisted in her shirt, mimicking Shego's hold, even as the pale skinned woman struggled under her.
She leaned closer to the trapped woman. "The number of things I could do to you. I'm meant to use the Attiudinator on you, but I don't want you to be a good girl…" She paused as she actually considered it. Her cheeks flushed and Shego's eyes widened in horror.
"No, I want you as you are, as my Shego and not some goody imposter to bow before me." Her voice was low and throaty as she pulled a stunned Shego closer. Her hand cupped Shego's cheek, eyes hooded as she looked at her captive morsal.
"The things I've imagined doing to you day after day, at night, in mornings, quick midday flings." Shego's cheeks were steadily growing darker as Kim spoke.
"But, they'll have to wait, Sugar Cube." Shego's brows shot up at the random pet name. Her brows shot a little higher as Kim's lips slammed into hers, teeth drawing blood with a sharp bite and before Shego could get her bearings with the kiss, the back of her head was slammed into the floor.
The few seconds she was out was all it took Kim to escape the house. Shego jerked to get up and her arms were wrenched back. She flared her plasma and the rope burnt off her wrists. She tore the collar off and went to chase after Kim. She knew this place much better than the redhead. She might have had a headstart but she wouldn't escape.
Shego could taste the copper tang of her blood and growled. She stepped out of the house, looking for red. She strode after the redhead, eyes burning with a mix of fury and passion, but mostly fury.
Kim was not going to get away that easy. If her sisters could track her down, then she would use them to track down the stray redhead.
"Ivy. Jasmine. Here."
Both women appeared within seconds of her words. "Bloodhound." Shego barked the word and Jasmine lifted a brow but didn't say a word as she shifted, bones cracking sickeningly.
"Feel her out, Ivy." Shego hissed and the golden woman closed her eyes to get a feel for the redheaded minx.
Shego, backed up by her siblings began walking after the black and silver hound. When the hound let out a brey she took off running, Ivy floating along behind them.
"Ready or not Kimmie. I'm coming."
The fucking writers block I got. I have done everything except write this. I've found new songs I enjoy, I've read novels of fanfiction, I've started my official novel, hell, I've been streaming, and I have shitty internet that can't stream. As it is I don't know when the next chapter will be out. I don't have much motivation to write.
