Chapter 18: NATASHA R. District 13 would be proud. I've made it far in the games. Now that my district is contributing to having tributes and fighting, we're better than ever. I do, however, miss Clint Barton. He's always been at my side and though I never told him, he's my best friend. I realize just how cheesy that sounds. I am, in fact, an adult spy with amazing skills, like sharpshooting. So why would I bring up friendship? Well, sometimes friends can save lives. In my case, all of the Avengers would willingly die for each other (except maybe Ant-Man, he isn't exactly the dying type). Thinking is horribly distracting. So, anyone can imagine my surprise when I bump into a cactus. Disappointingly, the cactus was not the threat. It is the short, green child from District 6. Her name is Disgust. She does look disgusting. Only in the capitol would one want such bold green colors in their hair. Facing another tribute, I do the sanest thing I can. Tackle her. I began to repeatedly punch her face, then her stomach. I don't know who died first. We might have passed at the same time. From what I could tell, we were falling. I must've pushed us off some kind of ledge or cliff (trust me, falling off a cliff sucks). For several seconds, I felt weightless. Falling is a thrilling, terrifying feeling. Then we both hit the ground. I heard a loud cracking noise. Was it from Disgust? Or, was that sound me? Perhaps both of our spines snapped. As my vision fades, I think of my favorite adventures. The Hunger Games reminds me of Budapest in too many ways. Though I'm sure Clint would argue that it's not the same in the slightest. I'll miss Hawkeye.
