1 Piece Demons

"Now that we're through there, let's go ahead to Amazon Lily and hook it up so that it can follow Hancock's boat!" Luffy said pointing in what seemed to be a random direction. A look at Hancock and her crews eternal pose to Amazon Lily, however, showed that he had pointed directly in the right spot.
"Of course captain. After though we have to head to Whiskey Peak and then take care of a certain sand croc." Nami said adjusting their course accordingly and letting the Kuja's take the lead on their boat.
"Yep!" Luffy said but then he frowned as he thought of something.
"Didn't that bomb guy and floaty girl show up and try to kill Vivi last time the day we arrived though?" Luffy asked making the crew pause for a moment as the ones who were there for that remembered it and Mr. 9 honestly had no idea what they were talking about but he didn't really want to know either. Not if they had a powerhouse like Mihawk and Jimbe on board calling another person Captain.
"They did…orders captain?" Usopp asked grimacing as he remembered seeing what all happened last time, and he had only seen the aftermath.
"Vivi do you want to put the fear of a pissed off princess into them?" Luffy asked smiling at the blue haired princess who smirked darkly at that. She didn't even have to answer verbally, the smirk did it for her.
"Vivi. Usopp and Brook. You three take the Mini-Merry and handle it. The rest of us will head to Amazon Lily and I expect everything to be taken care of when we come back and get you." Luffy said making the three straighten up and nod as they bowed a little to him.
"Consider it done captain." Vivi said and she smiled happily when she felt Luffy kiss her forehead, giving her a blessing much like he did to Brook and Usopp next.
"Hey do you think the captain would mind if we make the Bounty Hunters our own?" Usopp asked the other two, and the bat guy, all of a sudden as they loaded up the Mini-Merry.
"What do you mean?" Vivi asked curiously and Brook let out a laugh, oh he had a feeling in his bones he knew where this was going.
"Well think about it, a bunch of starving bounty hunters under Crocodiles thumb but he never really helps them and instead is now sending two higher ranking officers to kill you and they'll kill any of the others that get in their way…now throw in a pirate crew coming along and saving them as well as having a literal princess who can help them with supplies and food and all…" Usopp said and Vivi's eyes glinted in understanding.
"They'll like us more than they will Crocodile and since we are kicking his ass and throwing him in prison for later then we're their best option for actually getting food and other needed supplies to them on a regular basis. Not to mention they'll be right at the entrance of the Grand Line and can ambush any of the vile pirates that come through here that aren't dreamers like us." Vivi said and Usopp nodded his head in agreement.
"Which will give them a steady source of income and food money and all, and if they get better at disguising it or come across explorers and marines or 'good' pirates then they can have a shop set up to sell things that they loot off of the old pirates that they handed over to the marines. That'll give them more income and a steadish economy which will help make things a bit easier on all of them. Not to mention that if we can somehow swing it we can spread the groups out to a few of the other islands, like having some of the stronger ones on Drum to keep more bad pirates or that bastard Wapol from showing up again." Usopp said and Vivi's eyes widened and her grin nearly threatened to split her face in half.
This was pure evil genius! They could set up the bounty hunters over several islands and keep more of the killing, plundering, and raping pirates from getting further into the Grand Line through this path at least. Not only that but there was a reason why there were groups called the Billions and Millions. They weren't strong except for a few exceptions maybe but they had numbers on their side and that would take out most any rookie crew coming their way! If they set those agents up along the route and throughout the islands nearby then as soon as a Pirate Crew that was deemed 'bad' got around or through the first group the rest could converge on them and wipe them out with pure numbers alone!
"The numbered agents aside from myself and Igaram." Vivi breathed out as she climbed into the Mini-Merry and they got ready to leave, another thought striking her that should hopefully help keep anything like Crocodile from ever happening again.
"What about us princess?" Mr. Nine asked looking at Vivi whose grin just seemed to get bigger.
"You and Miss Monday can be in charge of Whiskey Peak….we can have numbered agents spread out amongst the Millions and Billions to keep them in check and in case there are stronger pirates than we thought coming through. Not just that but some of them…some of them can be part of the Alabasta Guard! Not as actual Guard members but as like a special forces! The only one who really has to go to jail is Crocodile and probably Mr. 1…the rest….the rest can be spared and work for us instead!" Vivi said and Usopp and Brook grinned widely at that. That was a truly genius idea. A special forces group of trained bounty hunters under the Alabasta pay roll.
And best of all Vivi knew she could just claim she was 'outsourcing' the bounty hunters so that none of the Alabasta soldiers or guards had to get their hands dirty with 'filth' or risk their lives against 'low lives'!
It was exactly in line with how a cunning princess was supposed to act and think and wouldn't get so much as a raised eyebrow or second look from the other nobles who didn't know her! The perfect ruse that she could use to hide her true affiliations!
"You're thinking more like a pirate than a princess again." Usopp teased her and she just smiled at him proudly.
"Of course I am! I'm a Straw Hat!"
