Olivia sighed softly as she stretched out her arms and legs, becoming aware of the sheets touching her entire body. Just the sheets. She reached out to the other side of the bed with a smile, remembering the night before.
Olivia pressed herself against Elliot, feeling as if he wanted to consume her the way his lips claimed hers. He was everywhere, but still not as close as she wanted him to be. Her hands, cupping his face, moved down to his chest and quickly started slipping buttons open. His own hands pulled away from her body, untucking the shirt from his slacks before helping her rid the article of clothing from his body. She let her hands linger on his shoulders as he pulled the sleeves off his wrists, feeling the muscles work underneath her fingers.
Elliot tossed the shirt onto the floor before grabbing for her hips again. His palm moved to the small of her back and pulled her even closer, arching her back towards him. She sighed softly when she felt his erection pressing against her pelvis. "El?"
"Yeah?" Elliot's voice was low, as breathy as hers in the dark of her room. His forehead pressed against hers as they both tried to gain some oxygen back into their lungs. His hold on her remained, but it seemed more gentle, almost cautious.
Olivia swallowed, giving him a reassuringly smile. "Do you want to unzip the dress?"
"Yes, please." Elliot whispered. Before he could reached up, Olivia was turning in his arms, presenting her back to him. When he saw her reaching up towards her neck, he took over. He moved her hair aside with his index finger as he stepped closer, mere inches from her. He pinched the small zipper between his fingers and slowly dragged it down to its end at the small of her back.
Olivia felt his breath on her neck as he stepped even closer, the heat from his chest spreading goosebumps on her back. She turned her head to the side to peer back at him, but closed her eyes when she felt his nose graze her cheek. His hands slid up her shoulder blades and under the dress, fingertips barely touching her skin as he peeled the fabric away. She shrugged her shoulders out as his hands passed over them, following the material down her arms until she could pull her hands out. She reached back over her head, cupping his cheek as his hands continued to push the dress past her hips and let it pool around her feet on the floor.
Elliot closed his eyes, forehead pressed to her temple, as his hands came to rest back on her. Her skin was warm, and he moved along the edge of the lace she wore. Her other hand met his elbow and slowly moved down to meet his hand, locking their fingers together. Both their eyes opened though when Olivia turned back around to face him, nose to nose, lips millimeters apart, and eyes boring into each other's. Elliot could've swore her eyelashes brushed against his when she blinked. Her hands worked on his belt buckle. He felt the leather of it snake around his waist as she pulled it free from his slacks, and she didn't hesitate in undoing his pants and letting them fall to the floor.
He kicked them to the side as she toed her dress away from her own feet. He moved his hands back to her hips, feeling the lace under his palms again, as her own hands came to rest on his chest. "El." She breathed his name again.
And, he just knew. "Yeah." He nearly collided his body into hers, keeping his grip on her to hold her close as he captured her lips. She moaned into his mouth as he backed her up to the bed, following her as she lowered down onto the bed and backed up towards the pillows.
Olivia pushed Elliot onto his back, straddling his waist as she pulled away from his lips. She smiled when his hips bucked up against hers, his hands dropping to caress her thighs. Reaching behind her, she unclasped the green lacy bra. She made a show of gliding the straps down her arms, enjoying the way Elliot was biting his lip and the way his eyes seemed to be ablaze with want. Pinching one end of the bra with her fingers, she let it drop from her chest and held it out, releasing it to sink to the floor beside them.
Elliot held his breath when she brought his hands up to her mouth, her lips almost ghosting over his knuckles with a smile. He sat up, kissing her hard, before cupping her breasts in his hands. Her breath hitched, and she leaned further into his touch, wanting more of him. He slid his tongue into her mouth as his thumbs passed over her nipples, and he grunted when her hips thrust against his. If there weren't any barriers between them, he would've entered her, and that thought pushed him to swipe his thumbs over her again.
Olivia panted when his lips broke from hers, moving down her jawline to her neck. She cupped the back of his head and turned to leave open mouthed kisses along his hairline. She gasped though when his arms wrapped around her and tilted her back the slightest, allowing him better access to her breasts with his mouth. She reached back and gripped his calves with her hands, and her nails dug into his skin when his lips wrapped around one of her nipples. His hands were back at her hips, and he was nearly grinding against her.
He shifted her again when he moved to the other breast and smiled hearing her moan his name, her grip tightening on his legs. Olivia felt like she was about to lose it at any moment. His erection was straining against her core, creating friction against her clit. Her head was starting to spin, and she couldn't keep her eyes open long enough to peer down at him. Her hips moved too, meeting his hips. When his lips released her nipple, she was almost thankful for the fact she was so close to the edge. Those thoughts flew out the window though when he blew on her nipple, still glistening with his saliva, and caused her body to let go.
Elliot felt her tense and straightened his back just in time for her to let go of his calves and cup his face, kissing him as she moaned. He groaned feeling her fluids seem through his briefs, only making him harder if it were possible. He turned them back around, lowered her onto her back and settled between her thighs. He started peppering her face with kisses, smiling as her eyes fluttered open. "Hey, Liv."
"Hey," Olivia smiled, tightening her knees around his hips, "you're ego did not need that boost."
"Oh, but it was so much fun to witness." Elliot grinned before kissing the tops of her breasts again. "I love them in case you didn't notice."
Olivia giggled with a shake of her head. "Well, thank you." She leaned up and kissed him softly, reaching down and push away his boxers. He helped her remove them as well as with her panties. He pressed his forehead to hers, eyes seeming to search for something when they met. "I want you, El." And, it wasn't just sex. It wasn't just tonight. It was time to admit what twenty-two years of never crossing the line wouldn't allow. As big as this step was for them, she was his as much as she would be in the morning after their first time together.
Elliot pecked her lips. "I'm all yours."
They both moaned when Elliot started entering her. Olivia's mouth dropped open as her legs immediately wrapped around his waist. He dropped to his elbows above her, tucking his face into her neck. Her nails bit into his wrists as he pushed in further, and he clasped their hands together against the mattress by her head when his hips met hers completely. "Liv?"
"Yeah." Olivia breathed, slowly rocking her hips against his. She hummed softly when he lifted from her neck and rested his forehead against hers.
She felt the satisfying soreness between her legs, but her eyes flew open when her hand met only sheets. Cold sheets. No Elliot. Her heart started beating faster as she scanned the room. His clothes from the night before were still scattered around her room. Even his watch was still on the nightstand. But, she didn't hear anything in her apartment. As much evidence as there was as to his still being in her apartment, there was a tinge of fear that he wasn't there. Slipping out of the bed, she pulled Elliot's shirt, the one she usually slept in, over her head and padded out to the kitchen.
Elliot looked up when he heard the bedroom door open, smiling when he saw Olivia with sleepy eyes and in nothing by his old rock band t-shirt. "Morning, gorgeous. I never thought somebody would make the Eagles look sexy, but you're kind of nailing the look."
Olivia scoffed with a small smile. "What are you doing?"
"I was going to make some breakfast for us. I was hoping to serve you breakfast in bed, but it looks like you're already up." Elliot closed the fridge door, frowning slightly when he noticed the tenseness in her stance. "What's wrong?"
Olivia shook her head. "Nothing. I just woke up and got a little paranoid when I didn't see you in bed." She played with her fingers. "I might've freaked out a little bit."
"You thought I left." Elliot concluded. He sighed before wrapping his arms around her. "I'm sorry."
"No, I'm sorry." Olivia retorted against his chest. "I saw all your stuff. I knew you hadn't left, not after last night. I guess I'm still adjusting."
Elliot kissed her head before she pulled away, leaning against the fridge. "That's not your fault. I'm the one who left without a word. I broke your trust. I have to earn it back. And, I will try my hardest."
Olivia rested her head against the fridge, sighing. "But, I do trust you. I trust you more than anyone."
"Obviously, not enough. Your first thought this morning was that I bolted and left you in bed all alone." Elliot pointed out, crossing his arms over his chest. "I understand, Liv. I'm going to work on it. Someday, you won't have to worry if I'll disappear from your life."
Olivia ran her hand through her hair, pushing it back. "I didn't actually think you left. It was just my paranoia. I know you aren't going anywhere."
"But, you're still worried about it." Elliot stated.
Olivia sighed, walking around him to the coffee maker. "Not the way you think, but you couldn't really blame me if I did." She leaned back against the counter, meeting his eyes. "Elliot, you left. You left me heartbroken. I kept walking into the squad room for days, like a fool, talking to you when you weren't even there. I felt like I was drowning. Then, Cragen told me. Told me that you put your papers in. Told me that you retired. That you weren't coming back." She huffed out a breath, shaking her head, making herself mad just thinking about it. "He even made me clear out your damn desk." And then, she was gaining volume until she was shouting. "What about me?! You made me feel alone, like I did when I was a kid constantly. I relied on you. Bastard, I still rely on you, and that scares the shit out of me!"
So, Elliot, as much as he wanted to comfort her, to reassure her, he started shouting, yelling. "Destroying us scares the shit out of me! I know I screwed up. I know I broke your trust. I know that I was the son of a bitch that acted like a coward instead of facing you. I'm owning up to that now. I don't know what else to do. I wish I had stayed. I wish I had talked to you the way I can talk to you now. I swear to God I would change the past if I could, because I could've spent the last ten years loving you. Hell, I could've slapped myself and made a move when I first started having feelings for you. It was unbearable being apart from you. It's like being a shell of yourself." He stepped closer to her, in her space. "I want to be with you all the time, even times when we infuriate each other. I miss you a little bit more than anyone, and I run a little bit faster when I know I get to see you or when it comes to protecting you. And, I smile a little bit wider just hearing your name, because you know what? I'm still in love with you. I love you so God damn much. I love you in a way I've never loved anyone else, in a way I never could love anyone else. I never believed in soulmates, but if I had one it would be you." He took a moment to breathe, to cool down. He took a few steps back, giving her space. "Now, you don't have to say it back to me, because I know that talking about our feelings has never been easy to do. But, I love you, damn it!"
"I love you too." Olivia fought back, although she wasn't sure why they were still being so aggressive. "I love you more than I thought I could ever love a person. I even love when you're mad and I call you a son of a bitch. You drive me crazy! But, I love you. And if I admit it, I've been in love with you for a love time."
Elliot's nose flared as he stared back at her. His hands rested on his hips where his sweatpants hung loosely on his hips. His breathing was little labored from his speech, and his eyes looked like they were ready to consume her. "Well, I'm glad we got that cleared up."
Olivia nodded. "Me too." She felt the familiar throb between her legs building. She clenched her thighs together, now suddenly very aware that she was only in Elliot's t-shirt.
"Was that our first fight?" Elliot asked after a moment, still breathing a little heavier than usual.
"In general, no." Olivia scoffed, knowing the little jab would only push him more. "As a couple, I guess it was."
Elliot clenched his teeth the slightest. "Does that mean we can have make up sex?"
"Sure as hell does." Olivia stated firmly on a breath.
"Good." Elliot nearly growled before he was on her. He lifted her onto the counter, sending a plate he had laid out flying back and landing on the floor on the other side. At the moment, neither cared. Olivia wrapped one arm behind the back of his neck, the other supporting her weight on the counter, while Elliot lowered his sweatpants.
Olivia lifted her hips before Elliot thrust into her, making both of them moan loudly. She locked her ankles behind his back as he started thrusting, slowly the first few thrusts, but quickly gaining speed. He grunted with every slap of his hips against hers, and she moaned each time he managed to pound into her harder than the last few thrusts. "Shit, baby, I love you."
Elliot groaned and gripped her hip tighter in his right hand, using his left to reach between them and stroke her clit. Her body clenched around his. "That's it, sweetheart. Just like that." She was moaning out profanities and nonsense the last few thrusts before trembling her release. He spilled into her, keeping his hips locked with hers as he came down from his high. She had dropped back onto her elbows, panting, and he was happy to drop onto his own arms and rest his head between her breasts.
Olivia reached up and stroked the back of his head as her legs lowered to rest on the counter. "I trust you, El. Don't doubt that."
"I believe you." Elliot breathed before lifting his head to see the soft smile on her face. He pecked her lips before pulling out and tucking himself back in his pants. When she sat up, he lifted her up off the counter.
Olivia kissed him again, grabbing his hand. "Let's go back to bed. It's still early."
Elliot frowned, pointing to the fridge. "What about breakfast?"
Olivia smirked and opened the freezer, grabbing a container of ice cream, before retrieving a chocolate syrup bottle from the fridge. She held up the two items to him, earning a fatherly disapproval look that she was sure his kids had seen many times. It only made her adore him more for his literal thinking. "Solved. Let's go." She turned, walking towards the bedroom with a sway in her hips that she knew Elliot would catch.
Elliot's eyes fixated on her ass, even as he pointed to the cupboards. "I'll grab some bowls."
"We won't need them." Olivia called over her shoulder. She chuckled turning back and leaning against the door frame, her hair falling in front of her eyes. "I'm not done with you, Stabler. Not by a long shot."
Elliot's eyes widened before his feet carried him forward, smiling when Olivia started giggling at him. "Benson, I fucking love you."
