It was the middle of the afternoon when the doctor gave Olivia her discharge instructions. She wanted to leave the hospital, and she wanted to sleep. The nurse gave her some scrubs to wear home. Olivia took her phone out of her purse to call a taxi. She moved things around in her purse looking for her keys until she realized Fitz had the key to her house, car, her whole life. He hadn't called to let her know anything. Was Karen at school? Olivia covered her face with her hands. She was so overwhelmed. How was she going to get in the house without her keys? She looked up when Fitz came in her hospital room. He was holding a bag with her clothes.

"Thank you."

"Has the doctor discharged you yet?"

"I was about to call a taxi."

"Why?"

"Fitz you are a good friend, and I really don't want you to think that I'm trying to be a bitch towards you."

"Then why are you being a bitch?"

"I'm doing what's best for me and my kids."

"Olivia, how do you think you got pregnant?"

"What?"

"Do you think the stork put the baby in your stomach?"

"That's a dumb question."

"I'm being serious. Karen has questions about you going to the baby bank."

"Too many drinks and not enough common sense. Does that answer your question?"

"No, I need more details. I'm not sure you know how the baby got in your stomach. Did I put the baby in your stomach?"

Olivia didn't answer his question.

"Can you explain to me how the baby got in your stomach?"

"Okay, I get your point."

"I'm still waiting for your answer."

"You didn't pull out."

"I didn't pull what out?"

"You finished inside me."

"Oh, okay, so I put the baby in your stomach. That's interesting. I guess that means it's my baby and your baby. So that means we have to share our baby, right Livvie?"

"I'm not sharing with you."

"That's not very nice Livvie. Don't you want to be nice and share with your friend?"

"I don't like this!"

"Does that mean you won't share another baby with me next year?"

"No, I'll be smart and use a baby bank. Anymore dumb questions?"

Fitz smiled, "You're so cute when you're mad."
