Kylo Ren was walking off his command ship, and onto the finalizer. Another search party was unsuccessful. He had gone to 4 planets and numerous moons to find Alexis. He never was one to engage in gossip, but numerous stormtroopers were saying how that a girl and a pilot had gone into a long-range light speed destination right under the first order's nose. He was not sure he could believe it or even how his soldiers would have gotten information about the rebels without informing him and Hux. However, he had a feeling those rumors may have been true, he could feel his connection with her was strained, and he had not seen her in a year.

He was vastly approaching his quarters; he has been keeping this as tucked into his core to keep this from Supreme Leader Snoke. He knew that if Snoke found out he was searching for her; he would have to find her just to have her killed. The blast stores shot open and he walked into his quarters he looked over in the living space. Kylo could not help but think about the last time he had embraced Alexis in his quarters. Her piercing blue eyes and her blonde hair her, the feeling of her lips against his. He straightened his back and walked to his room.

Kylo sat on his bed and began taking off his boots, the last interaction he had with Alexis was not how he wanted to go. He knew she needed a teacher, but she outright denied him and unraveled in front of her. Her whole demeanor had changed, whatever she saw when she grabbed that lightsaber and he wanted to help her process and he wished he could have helped.

He sighed stood up and began taking off the rest of his robes leaving only his pants. Kylo wondered if he ever was going to see her again. He walked over to open space next to his bed and sat down crossed legged. He rested his hands on his knees, closed his eyes, and began to meditate to get her off his brain before his next debriefing with Snoke and Hux. A faint moaning rang in his ears causing his eyes to flash open and were met with blue eyes, her breath hitched, her cheeks flushed but he would recognize those eyes anywhere?

"Princess?"

"Ben."

In a blink of an eye, she was gone. He was back in his room only savoring the moment he had. To see her face, to hear her voice, she was alive. He was going to find her.

"Do you want to explain what you are doing here?" Alexis felt the need to cover up her dress feeling too revealing. Poe respectfully found the ceiling interesting as she adjusted her dress down. She got off the bed and walked over to her dresser and grabbed an oversize t-shirt and pajama bottoms. She nudged passed Poe and walked into the bathroom to change. Poe walked into the kitchen and leaned against the wall and sighed. He couldn't believe he had found her he looked at the door she just walked into.

Alexis pulled the shirt over her head and used the sink to stable herself. She was sobering up rapidly and was in a state of shock. She looked at herself in the mirror her makeup still on and beginning are smearing, she grabbed a rag and soaked it in water and rubbed her face roughly. She hoped that if she scrubbed hard enough Poe would disappear and she could go back to drowning in her own sorrows. She looked up pleased with the amount of makeup that had come off and opened the door. Poe's head perked up.

"Spark-"Alexis put a hand up silencing him immediately she walked past him and began making coffee.

"Do you want some, my head is pounding," Alexis pressed the button and the coffee maker stirred to the life. She grabbed a mug from the cabinet and held it out for him. He took it and gave her a sad smile. "What?"

"I'm glad you're not dead." Poe put down the mug on the counter, and crossed his arms, "Why did you leave?"

The pot began sizzling letting her know it was done and pouring some into her mug and poured some in Poe's. She proceeded to ignore the question and walked over to the refrigerator and grabbed the creamer and poured it into her coffee and his. As she turned with no intentions, of answering his question he grabbed her arm causing her to stop. "Why are you evading my question? Why did you leave?"

Alexis sighed put the creamer down, and turned to face him, "I was scared. Everything that had happened, I got scared and felt as though I did not belong. Here on this planet your world, you, are not real it is all fiction. I did not believe that should have been there. I needed a sense of normalcy. Where I was nobody rather than..." She looked down.

"Rather than who?" Poe pressed. She walked back to her coffee and took a sip. "Sparky come on it's me. You know you can tell me anything."

She sighed, "You heard of Obi-Wan Kenobi I take it?" Poe nodded, "Apparently, I am his…I am his granddaughter." Poe's jaw dropped. "I know, I haven't really processed it myself and I'm not sure I honestly want to. So, I came back home, to forget about who I am and who I am related to."

"Why didn't you say goodbye? You just let Leia sneak you away." Alexis' eyes went big, "You didn't think I would find out she helped you?" Alexis shook her head. "Yeah let me tell you about how my year went, Sparky," She flinched at his cold tone, "I woke up to find you gone, Finn in a coma, and Rey nowhere to be found. I confronted Leia asking if she saw you and she told me not to expect you back. I did not really take that for an answer, so I got rebellious, I started taking charge and blowing a lot of things up. Having people in the meantime trying to find any traces of where you might have gone. Leia thought I had gotten reckless on my missions and decided it would be best to demote me. Then I found him the pilot that took you here. I interrogated him until he would tell me where he had taken you. After 24 hours he finally cracked. With Finn still in a coma, nothing was keeping me from finding you so I went.

"Why? Why go through all that trouble for me?" Alexis crossed her arms and backed herself in the corner.

Poe huffed a chuckle, "Are you that naïve and self-absorbed?" Alexis looked down at her feet, heard his footsteps until his boots were in her line of sight. She looked up and his eyes began to tear up hurt expressing his every feature, "Because you are my family, Alexis, my partner in crime, and I love you!"

Alexis took a sharp inhale, tears welling up in her eyes, "I love you too, Poe." She embraced him in a hug that he happily returned the embrace a hand holding her head close to his. The two began sobbing, in each other's arms. Two friends united once again.

Poe departed and put his forehead on hers, "Let's go home Sparky." Alexis smiled and nodded.
