I appreciate the positive reviews, I've been contemplating whether I should finish this story, I have an idea of how I want it to end but I need to build up the story in order to get there. keep leaving reviews.

"Hello" Quinn answered the phone.

"Is huck with you?" Fitz asked

"Uh yea he's right here" Quinn said switching to speaker phone.

"We found her, she's here at the White House"

"Was she with Jake?" Huck asked concerned

"Yea-" he cleared his throat "yea, she was, but Jake didn't make it" Fitz blurted out

"What happened, is Liv alright. did Jake do something" huck asked

"It was her mother, she escaped killing Jake in the process"

"Omg" Quinn exclaimed "Where is maya now" Huck chimed in.

"We don't know, but I need to be with liv" Fitz explains

"Ok, thanks for letting us know" Quinn thanked him and hung up.

"We have to bury Jake" Huck said

"I'll make arrangements" Quinn insisted.

Fitz entered the residence not bothering to turn on the light. He took off his jacket laying it across the chair noticing liv wasn't in bed. He checked the bathroom but she wasn't there fitz went to the nursery, Liv was sitting in the dark watching maddy and audy sleep.

Fitz let out a sigh of relief "couldn't sleep?" He asked joining her on the sofa.

"Yea" she said sadly

"Are you hungry, I can have something brought up" fitz insisted

"Im fine, where's Karen and teddy?"

"Sleeping i hope" he sighed

"Fitz i-" Liv started

"Don't" fitz snapped

"I had to go, she's my mother" liv remarked

"We're not doing this" he said in a whisper

"I'm trying-"

"Liv, Im not blaming you, I just want to know why you didn't feel you could talk to me? Why you would leave in the middle of our reception?" He asked calmly

"I wasn't thinking" Liv said softly "I'm sorry"

"Are we in this together or is it me, you and we have the twins. I feel like an outsider in my own family i want you Liv but you have to want me too" he quipped

"I want you. Fitz I want our family, I don't know why I was so compelled to go there I knew who she was, what she did. She's my mother I hate it and I still went and now-"

"I don't want to ever go through that again, the girls were terrified. Livvie Are we truly in this like you said or am I a fool?" He asked rhetorically

"We're in this together." She assured him.

"Next time just talk to me, we promised no more lies" he sighed.

A single tear rolled down her cheek. "No more lies" she said as she wiped the tear away.

"Let's go to bed" Fitz looked in twins cribs, they were sound asleep. Fitz held out his hand to Liv.

Liv gripped fitz's hand as he led her out of the nursery.

4 days go by, there's still no new information on maya. Fitz and Eli were getting frustrated how could she disappear so quickly.

Fitz walked in their bedroom. Finding Olivia staring at the tv, she wasn't actually watching what was on tv. She stared blankly, uninterrupted by fitz's presence. Fitz didn't have the words or maybe he was afraid of her answer, if he asked what he'd been wondering. Fitz slowly approaches her "Liv?" He spoke softly. Breaking from her stupor state, her eyes rounded the room landing on Fitz. "Liv, are you sure you can do this?" He asked kneeling to her.

Liv looked at him with heavy eyes, she looked like she wanted to cry but was holding it in Fitz didn't know if he should take her, while she was in this state. "I'm sure" was all she said cupping his hand as it rested on her knee. "Were you able to find her?" She asked. Fitz nodded in response. He stood up gently pulling liv to her feet. "The car is downstairs. the girls are dressed and with Hannah, I sent teddy and Karen to Mellie just for the next couple of days." He wasn't sure what Olivia was feeling: lost love, guilt. He didn't know but he wanted to be there for her. "I'm ready" liv said as she interlaced her fingers with fitz's. they headed to the elevator.

The ride was quiet, Olivia stayed under Fitz like she was never gonna have the chance to be there again. "Safety" She felt safe right there in that moment even with her mother out there and Jake gone Olivia found comfort in Fitz. Olivia watched as they pasted the cemetery. She turned to Fitz confused "Fitz. . ." She trailed off. "Jake was in the navy, although he was dishonorably discharged, he deserves to be in here" Fitz stated as the motorcade pulled up to Arlington National cemetery. Liv couldn't find the words she just thought that was one of jakes cover stories for b6-13 she had no idea it was real. Olivia and Fitz exited the motorcade approaching huck and Quinn who were standing a considerable distance from Jakes closed casket. Huck and Quinn turned to Liv both with concerning looks of sadness and guilt. She couldn't figure out the guilt part. Fitz stayed behind as Liv walked closer to huck and Quinn.

"Liv, who is that?" Quinn whispered gesturing to the older lady quietly sobbing over the casket.

Liv stared at the women, without looking away Liv quietly answered "jakes mother"

Quinn stood shocked not saying anything.

"How did you find her?" Huck quickly asked remembering the no family b6-13 policy.

"My father, she lives in Indiana. Jakes been sending her money every month, since he was eighteen" Liv said finally turning to huck and Quinn, before taking a step towards her. "Mrs. Harris" she said softly. His mother whipped her head around turning to Olivia. "Yes" she said wiping away her tears. Olivia cleared her throat "I was with him when-...he was protecting me" she felt ashamed. Her (Jakes mom) demeanor softened "did...did he suffer?" She asked choking back tears. "No" liv answered quickly " I am so sorry" she said as a tear escaped her eye "how did you find me? I haven't heard from or seen peter in over 21 years," she shook her head. Olivia turned pointing to fitz "my husband helped, they knew each other while they were in the service" she said proudly and guiltily. Mrs Harris' eyes darted to fitz "the...President knew peter?" Liv nodded waving fitz over, Fitz briskly moved to Liv "thank you" she said moving in to shake his hand. " it was an honor to have served with your son, I'm deeply sorry for your loss" Fitz stated. "I just wish I could have hugged him one last time" this time she couldn't hold her tears back. Liv comforted her.

The service was beautiful. Olivia got back to the White House and had her father brought up to the White House residence. Eli was escorted in by one of the valets, Liv was standing there waiting patiently. "hello dad" she greeted as he walked through the doors.

"Hello, Olivia" Annoyed

"Where the hell were you this morning?" She demanded

"I was at my office until about an hour ago when you summoned me, here" he gestured waving his hand.

"No, why didn't you come to Jakes funeral?" She asked in a shaky voice.

"I didn't want to go" Eli retorted nonchalantly

"Why? You were his only family, for years you took care of him. And now you don't wanna show up for him" she shouted

"Jake was a soldier and he died like one, you didn't need me there. Do you know how many sons I've watched die. So no Olivia I didn't want to go" Eli barked

Olivia folded her arms across her chest "Why didn't you just let him out?" Liv said mostly to herself but catching his attention

"Let him out" he chuckled "let him out...you don't get out Olivia Jake is out that's the reality and that was the only way he would ever get out" Eli snarled

"You know what I'm talking about- making Jake command forcing him back into b6-13 where he was trying to run from. why didn't you let him go?" liv asked

"Because he was my son and I thought that he would be loyal, Olivia if you didn't have a hard time doing the very things I tell you not to do we wouldn't be here right now, I tried to give you a way out and you threw it back in my face over and over"

"You wanted me to leave fitz, THAT was never gonna happen. But I refuse to sit here and listen to how you think this is my fault. Jake would have never trusted mom if you had taken "no" for an answer, this is on me but it's also on you too." Liv snapped

"I'm walking out of that door, Olivia I have to focus on finding your mother who you and Jake let loose for some idiotic reason." Eli said Turing and walking out the door.

After Eli left, Olivia spent time in the nursery with the twins.

"mommy whers teddy?" Maddy asked.

"daddy sa tedy wit his momy" audy chimed in.

"That's right, but he'll be home soon. You guys really miss him, huh?"

"yeah" they said in unison. "mommy can we go to daddy" audy asked while pulling out a fake casserole handing it to Liv

"Thanks sweetie" she said pretending to eat it."Daddy is working right now but he'll be here before bed time"

"okay mommy" Audy pouted.

"daddy let's us pay there" maddy chimed in pointing to the door

"Daddy let's you play where?" Liv asked "oh his office" she caught on

They nodded in unison.

"How about I call daddy up here?" Liv offered. Olivia got up and called down to the oval, to find that fitz wasn't there. "Um okay, uh Charlotte can you have Hannah sent to the nursery, I have to go out for a while"

Hannah arrived, Olivia kissed the twins goodbye and left.
