Inside the command room of the bunker, Riptide and Turk discuss about ALTER's recent plans and how they can counter it. A footage gathered by Riptide is played, and it shows a convoy of trucks entering a some sort of facility not discovered by EGO and Turk is in question

Turk: What is that place? And how did you get that footage?

Riptide: Let's say that I have "insiders" there

Turk: Right...

Riptide: But for real, it looks like ALTER is making progress and we have to do something. That attack on Steamy Stacks only put a dent on them

Turk: What are you proposing?

Riptide: Remember Big Chuggus and Sorana?

Turk: Currently under EGO's wanted list, yeah, why so?

Riptide: I've noticed back at ALTER, that those two are taking orders from Sudorov

Turk: So? Sudorov and Chaos Agent are in the same page right?

Riptide: I mean, they are following Sudorov more often instead of their old boss, it's like the Russians paid them to help them

Turk: And what does that have to do with our current situation?

Riptide: Whatever Sudorov is doing and planning for, surely those two would know. Hell, we might find out the place from that video footage. At this point, ALTER is no longer our main threat, it's the Russians that are in the driver's seat and they're using their "ally" to make their lives easier

Turk: How do you even know that?

Riptide: I've seen it all, whenever things go rough, Sudorov finds a way to get Chaos Agent pre-occupied so he thinks everything is all fine and dandy. And Sudorov, he doesn't care if you're on his side or not because he has his own agenda

Turk has a quick moment of thinking

Turk: Well... Alright then, how do we find them?

Riptide: Well, I'm not really sure

Turk: Aren't they your "insiders"?

Riptide: No, that's a different story, but I know this one place

Turk: Keep going

Riptide: It's a small bar in Misty Meadows, they usually stop there at around between 2 to 5 PM to get some drinks. I think maybe we can find them

Turk: Anything else?

Riptide: They're usually escorted by 7, maybe 13 guys, so expect this to be messy. But other than that, that's everything

Turk: Fine then, I'll send some of my guys there to get to them

Riptide: And one more thing

Turk: Yeah?

Riptide: Try not to screw this up, if you do, they'll surely tell Sudorov and it'll be like your EGO Base all over again

Turk: Got it, won't even let the locals spill a word

[Misty Meadows 1425 Hours]

Turk: Remedy, are you and Sokolov at the place?

Remedy: Roger, we're at Misty Meadows approaching the bar

Turk: Good, Dad says he wants them taken alive so watch who you shoot

Pvt. Sokolov: What are these rounds?

Remedy: Tranq-darts, it'll put those guys to sleep without killing them

Pvt. Sokolov: Okay, very nice

They drive closer to the bar, but as they arrived there, they find the place in an unusual state

Remedy: What the? The place is wrecked

Pvt. Sokolov: Should we check inside?

Remedy: Definitely, come on

Remedy and Pvt. Sokolov exit from their vehicle and enter the bar to investigate. Six dead Russians are found at the scene and bullet shells litter the place

Pvt. Sokolov: These guys belong to Sudorov's, looks like someone made a rough mess here

Remedy: What about Sorana and that one dude with the Slurp tubes?

Pvt. Sokolov: No idea, I'll keep looking

They continue to look around the bar until Pvt. Sokolov made a critical discovery. He found Big Chuggus

Pvt. Sokolov: Remedy, look

Remedy: What is it?

Pvt. Sokolov: It's our Slurp friend here, and I guess he ran out of the juice

Remedy: Damn it, what about Sorana?

Pvt. Sokolov: Hang on, see if I can check if he has something of value here, though I highly doubt it

Pvt. Sokolov checked Big Chuggus' body and finds a phone with a cracked screen but still works. He checked the phone and finds a message log between the two ALTER agents

Pvt. Sokolov: It looks like Sorana and this guy here were planning to defect, but unfortunately for them, Sudorov's men was able to intercept them and stopped them

Remedy: And Sorana?

Pvt. Sokolov: It says here that she's in Lazy Lake

Remedy: We need to get there quick, the Russians might catch up

Pvt. Sokolov: On it

Remedy and Pvt. Sokolov get back to their vehicle and drive to Lazy Lake to save Sorana from Sudorov's troop

[Lazy Lake 1430 Hours]

The two EGO agents arrive in Lazy Lake, however they find the place swarmed with Russian soldiers. They found Sorana, who is being kept alive for some reason, but now is the time to save her and convince her to switch teams

Remedy: Blast, they already got her

Pvt. Sokolov: You got a plan?

Remedy: Looks like they're taking her to one of the buildings, the blue two-storey one to be exact

Pvt. Sokolov: I don't see any way around, I guess we're gonna have to shoot our way to her

Remedy: We can't let them know we're coming, or else they'll shoot her for good

Pvt. Sokolov looks at the place to try and find a path to the building where Sorana is being kept and when he leans back, he sees an Ural truck coming to their way and to Lazy Lake

Pvt. Sokolov: I got an idea, follow me now

Remedy: Wait, hang on, let me catch up

The two quickly moved near the road. The plan is to quietly climb into the back of the Ural truck and use it to gain access to the Lazy Lake and avoid the Russians. Once the truck was close enough, the two quickly move to climb aboard. Pvt. Sokolov jumped to the back and pulled Remedy up and they used the crates inside to hide themselves. The truck stopped, there is some chatter outside and after that, a Russian climbs up to the back to check the crates. Fortunately, both of the EGO agents were not found by the Russian and the truck was granted access, and they wait until the truck parked at a spot, hopefully near the building. The truck stopped and its engine shut down, and the building is just at the other side of the road

Pvt. Sokolov: Alright, let's go

Pvt. Sokolov goes first and knocks out the driver first, then Remedy exits the truck. They then carefully sneak their way past the Russian patrols, using the crates and a UAZ jeep as cover. A sniper nearly saw Remedy but Pvt. Sokolov managed to pull her back to cover, avoiding detection just by a hair. They entered the building through a window, Pvt. Sokolov knocked out another soldier while Remedy shoots a soldier sitting in the couch, they go upstairs together quietly and reached the second floor as Pvt. Sokolov shoots a soldier watching by the window

Remedy: Let's check every door, you take that one, I'll take this

Pvt. Sokolov: Da, on it

Remedy stands by the door on the left side while Pvt. Sokolov takes the door on the right side. Remedy does a countdown and at three, they opened the door at the same time. Pvt. Sokolov tapped a Russian soldier in the head while Remedy checks the room clear

Remedy: Clear here

Pvt. Sokolov: Go up

They go to the stairs to reach the third floor, a Russian soldier was walking down but Pvt. Sokolov quickly deals with the soldier. Once they reached the third floor, they find one of the doors opened. They lean against the wall and Pvt. Sokolov goes to take a slight peek into the room, and found Sorana and two other Russians

Pvt. Sokolov: She's there, but there are guards inside

Remedy: Alright, toss a flashbang there and we'll deal both of them

Pvt. Sokolov: Got it

Pvt. Sokolov grabs a flash grenade, pulls its pin and tosses it to the room. The flash blinded everyone and Remedy and Pvt. Sokolov took out both of the Russians

Sorana: You could've at least yelled "duck"

Pvt. Sokolov: No time to kiss the wounds, we have to go

Pvt. Sokolov unties Sorana and arms herself with an AK

Sorana: Hang on, why are you two helping me? Shouldn't you be minding your own business instead?

Remedy: Should I tell her?

Pvt. Sokolov: Just go with it

Remedy: Right, Riptide sent us to rescue you, he wants something from you

Sorana: Why him?

Pvt. Sokolov: We'll explain further, let's get out of here now

Sorana: Alright fine, I guess I'm on your side now

The trio goes down to the ground floor of the building to escape Lazy Lake. Pvt. Sokolov looks outside from the window while Remedy and Sorana get themselves ready

Remedy: What does it look like outside?

Pvt. Sokolov: There are still some trucks outside but I don't see any troops

Remedy: Must be an ambush, we're gonna have to fight our way outta here then

Pvt. Sokolov: I guess so, let's get ready then

Armed and ready, the trio bust through the door with their guns pointed center. They duck under cover however after a couple seconds, the place is indeed empty. There are no soldiers nearby and the gear they have are abandoned

Remedy: Huh?

Pvt. Sokolov: I guess there are no soldiers here, though I'm starting doubt it

Sorana: Oh what are you two talking about? Let's just take one of their rides and get out of here

Remedy: Fine, they might be some coming back so we need to hurry

Pvt. Sokolov: We can take that jeep over there

Remedy: Alright let's go

The trio hijacked one of the UAZ jeeps left by the Russians and they drove off and head their way to the EGO bunker base so Sorana can meet Riptide

EGO Bunker Base

Remedy: So, we did it?

Turk: Yeah, just give my dad a minute to convince Sorana to join the good fellows

Pvt. Sokolov: So we just wait?

Turk: Sorana has met Sudorov before, meaning we can use her to get a lead on both of the bosses

Pvt. Sokolov: Shame the other one didn't make it

Remedy: You're worried?

Pvt. Sokolov: Hey, I'm just saying, we could need someone that is bigger than Rippley, no offense to him

Remedy: I'll tell him about that

Pvt. Sokolov: No please don't

Turk: Alright, enough with that, we still have to-

EGO Soldier: SIR! SIR!

Turk: What's the issue private?

EGO Soldier: *panting* T-th-they're here

Turk: Who?

EGO Soldier: The entire Russian Army! They're headed for this way, my entire scout team was massacred, I was the only one who made it out of there

Remedy: What?! That's impossible, who knew of this place?

Sorana busts out of the door they're standing next with

Sorana: Idiots

Riptide: Hey! Don't lose her, she used herself as a damn Trojan Horse

Pvt. Sokolov: Shit, hey!

Pvt. Sokolov rushes after Sorana to catch her

Turk: Dad, are you okay?

Riptide: I'm fine, that girl know some taekwondo huh?

Turk: Get everyone ready, I want every single personnel in this bunker armed, we cannot afford losing this base and running away again

Remedy: What's the plan?

Turk: We fight but this time, we're not turning back
