Chapter Eighteen - Ember's Offer
Monday Night RAW, MSG, 10pm
DX waited backstage anticipating the arrival of Stephanie and Jeff Hardy and the notorious Bayley Black Heart. They were convinced the infamous trio would take the Shield up on their offer and they had setup the next hour for the encounter to take place. The show started with Sasha and Seth explaining that their twitter accounts had been hacked to address the sex tape situation.
SETH: Believe it or not guys, not everybody is happy for us. Not everybody wanted Sasha and Seth to be a married couple, let alone a ridiculously happily married couple.
Seth kisses Sasha gently on the lips and the crowd cheers excitedly.
GRAVES: Yuck, must be like kissing a pretty ashtray.
YOUNG: You're so unromantic.
GRAVES: No I'm just dying for a cigarette.
Sasha squeezes Seth's arm with a loving smile
SASHA: This is real love ya'll. I love Seth Rollins, my husband means everything to me but there's somone out there that is trying to split us up because she thinks he should be with her and not me. This person went so far as to record us in a private moment and got someone to help her blast it all over social media. Now, what man on this planet would want to marry a woman like that? Y'all don't know how far this woman is willing to go to break us up but I just wanna set the record straight right now. Nobody is breaking us up, this right here is real and it is for life.
The fan cheer loudly.
SETH: And if you're not down with that we got two words for ya!
The fans yell "SUCK IT!" loudly and DX come out to great applause.
HUNTER: I think what Seth and Sasha are trying to say is that if you would like to find out what marriage is really like, don't marry Stephanie McMahon, marry your best friend's best friend. Stephanie has no friends and now she's made friends with someone who also has no friends. Friends are important ladies and gentlemen and if they're really good friends, they'll encourage you never, ever, ever marry Stephanie McMahon. I will of course at this time apologise to my daughter Aurora Helmsley, but she told me to say this so its not like I'm saying anything she doesn't agree with. My ex-wife is broken ladies and gentlemen, she's so broken she married a broken Hardy boy and turned him into an angry Hardy boy. Then she had the nerve to keep breaking stuff and finally, she broke our family apart and then had the nerve to take one of our dearly beloved NXT Superstars, Bayley and turn her into Bayley Blackheart. Bayley was the sweetest person you will ever meet in your life and now she is a demented, twisted, nasty little b*** that Alexa Bliss is going to beat the crap out of tonight.
The fans cheer loudly.
HUNTER: That's if Bayley has the guts to show up, if she doesn't I understand she's hanging out with Britney Spears now and that's a diary entry most psychiatrists would runaway from. Bayley and Britney sitting in a tree, destroying what's left of her decency. First comes Steph, then comes Britney, next thing she's gonna end up like Bobby and Whitney.
The fans laugh and Shawn took the mic from Hunter.
HBK: That's not funny Hunter, we don't want Bayley to end up like that. We want her to be Bayley again and we want her to be happy for her friends instead of tearing them apart.
HUNTER: I was just kidding Shawn, I just needed a rhyme for "Britney" and "Whitney" is the first name I came up with. I fired Bayley from NXT but I would expect her to at least give you all the respect you deserve and explain her actions. She is on a mission to find out for herself whether or not Seth Rollins is in fact the world's greatest lover but sex is a team sport and its not down to one person. It takes two right Sasha?
Sasha blushed and Seth encouraged Hunter to change the subject.
HUNTER: I'm just saying you got all this love for your performance on that tape but Sasha was the one that got my attention.
HBK: You watched the tape?!
HUNTER: Of course I did, didn't you?
HBK: No I deleted it!
HUNTER: I should have known you'd do the right thing, now I expect all of you to do the same. If you see anything like that show up on twitter just hashtag #DeleteBlackheart and don't watch it. That's the only way we're going to get rid of her ladies and gentlemen, don't support her in anyway at all and don't watch anything that hurts Sasha and Seth. These are your Superstars, Bayley is no longer part of our family so do the right thing guys and don't follow her or listen to her. Anyone who aligns themselves with Stephanie McMahon is not welcome in our world.
The fans booed loudly as Bayley Blackheart, Stephanie and Jeff Hardy showed up on the ramp.
STEPHANIE: Oh that's a shame, we didn't realise we were the pariahs of our own house. After all this is the house that my father built and you two degenerates stole it from me. But make no mistake about it Hunter I will get back what belongs to me and there's nothing you two morons can do about it.
The fans boo loudly but the booes suddenly turn to applause as the Shield show up on the top of the arena.
BLISS: Oh but there is something that we can do about it Steph.
GRAVES: Here comes the Shield!
YOUNG: Looks like Roman and Dean got an upgrade in Alexa Bliss!
STEPHANIE: You little rat you can't compete with us, I'll whip you like a rag doll if you put your hands on me Bliss!
BLISS: What's wrong Bayley, can't talk or is Stephanie controlling your mouth as-well?
BAYLEY: No I'm just waiting for you to fall down those steps and embarrass those legendary colours. What gives you the right to be part of the greatest wrestling faction of all time huh? You don't deserve to be walking down those steps Alexa, just like you didn't deserve to be Sasha's maid of honour. You're my stand-in and I'm sick and tired of watching you try to take my place.
AMBROSE: There's a ring right in front of you Bayley, so why don't you take your ever-running mouth, put it on mute, tie your shoelaces and get in the ring with us tonight?
BAYLEY: And watch you fight Seth's battle for him? I don't have any problem with the Shield and I never have, my problem is with that bloated fat butt wearing Shield colours like she earned the right to wear them. I can't stand the sight of you Alexa you make me sick! Oh, did that touch a nerve? I know how sensitive you bulimics are but don't worry, after I'm done whooping that large butt of yours, you can throw up backstage all you want. Just try not to throw up on the Shield gear you're wearing princess.
The fans boo Bayley loudly.
STEPHANIE: Gees Bayley you can be so mean I love that about you. I can be pretty mean too and I'm going to prove it right now with a stipulation for this match. If Alexa defeats Bayley, we will leave and you will never hear from us again but if Bayley pins Alexa, Alexa has to come and work for me.
The fans boo loudly and the Shield laugh.
ROMAN: You're on! Alexa's not scared of Bayley and she's gonna do what Bayley couldn't do and that's make us proud.
HUNTER: The match is on and you better do what you said Stephanie and leave us alone after this match is over. That means you don't go after Seth and Sasha anymore and you stop your plans to take NXT away from me and Shawn.
STEPHANIE: Shut up and start the match right now!
The fans cheer and DX, Sasha and Seth clear the ring and sit at ringside. The match starts and Bayley gets the upper hand before Alexa takes over. The Shield cheers Alexa on and Jeff and Steph cheer Bayley on.
GRAVES: It looks like Bayley might win this thing, Alexa looks rocked!
YOUNG: What match are you watching Lexi's got this Graves she's mopping the floor with Bayley Blackheart!
Bliss goes for Twisted Bliss when suddenly Ember Moon runs into the ring and pushes her down off the turnbuckle. Dean Ambrose gets up in shock and Roman goes to check on Alexa but Jeff Hardy hits him with a Swanton Bomb. Alexa gets to her feet and Stephanie gets into the ring and slaps Roman Reigns across the face. Alexa stands in front of Roman and Stephanie points behind her as Ember positions herself for the Eclipse. Roman pushes Alexa out of the way and ends up taking the Eclipse from Ember. Bayley crawls back into the ring and rolls Alexa up for the 1-2-3 and wins the match.
The fans are shocked and Seth, Sasha and DX watch in horror as Stephanie grabs the mic from the announcer.
STEPHANIE: Here is your winner, Bayley Blackheart! Alexa Bliss pack up you're coming home with the Hardys tonight!
The fans boo as Bayley, Jeff and Steph celebrate in the ring. Stephanie raises Ember Moon's hand.
STEPHANIE: Everybody meet the first of many NXT defectors from DX Inc, the new Ember Moon, or as she will soon be known, Amber Red.
DX looked at Ember for an explanation but Dean Ambrose didn't give her a chance to give one.
AMBROSE: You're not going anywhere you're staying right here with us!
MOON: Stephanie made me an offer I couldn't refuse, give me one reason I should stay?
Ambrose kisses Ember and she drops the microphone before he pulls her over his shoulder while Roman takes Alexa out of the ring and together they go back up the stairway to the top of the arena as the fans applause.
GRAVES: Your husband sure has a way with women. Of all colours.
YOUNG: He likes Ember more than Stephanie McMahon does that's for sure.
The fans cheer the Shield and Stephanie, Jeff and Bayley leave giving DX dirty looks.
"So this isn't over," Seth said and DX shook their heads. "Well at least Dean convinced Ember to stay,"
"All we have to do now is get Ambrose to kiss Stephanie and Bayley and see if he is as charming with them as he is with Ember," Shawn said.
"I would rather eat a bag of poop then let Ambrose kiss those two," Hunter said. "No, we gotta handle those two ourselves Shawn,"
Shawn nodded as the fans left happy and talking about what a great show it was. "We'll take care of things guys, why don't you go enjoy being back together for the first time in weeks?" he said to Seth and Sasha.
"With all due respect HBK, we can't leave knowing our friends are in danger. If its okay with you we'd rather not be alone for now," Seth said and Sasha nodded in agreement.
"I love the maturity in both of you, not all married couples would be so sensitive to their friends' needs but you guys are special and so unselfish. The locker room loves you both and you'll find out just how much at the party we're going to throw you tonight," Shawn said.
The Rock and John Cena met them all backstage recoiling from the shadow of Stephanie McMahon that seems to fall over them as they made their way to DX, Seth and Sasha.
"I felt my soul leave my body as she moved out of the area, do you think she took my soul with her?" Rocky asked Cena.
"No I'm pretty sure Satan still has it," John replied and Rocky hit him on the arm.
"Satan has nothing of mine," he declared as the Shield came over to them with a dreamy eyed Ember Moon. "and he doesn't have anything of yours either Ms Moon, thanks to Dean Ambrose's lips,"
"That kiss was amazing, your wife is so lucky," Ember said to Dean.
"Yes she is be sure to tell her that when she tastes your lip gloss on my mouth," Dean said and Sasha and Seth laughed. "I better go find my wife I got a lot of explaining to do,"
"No explanation necessary you did what you had to do to get Ember away from the Broken Billionaires, I'm not mad at you Ambrose I'm proud of you," Renee said coming over to her husband and they kissed passionately much to Ember and Alexa's delight.
"What do I have to do to get a man to kiss me like that?" Alexa said amorously.
"Keep having matches like that and you won't be single for much longer," Hunter replied. "You were awesome tonight Bliss,"
Seth and Roman applauded Alexa and Sasha hugged her, "You did the Shield proud tonight and you did me super proud. I love you Alexa Bliss," Sasha said to Alexa who squeezed Sasha's hands lovingly.
"I love you too Banks, now if you'll excuse me I have to go find out how Stephanie McMahon got to Ember Moon so she doesn't get to anyone else," Alexa said but Ember was gone.
"Where'd she go?" Roman asked and Trish and Randy Orton came over to everyone with their eyebrows raised.
"Ember's been Transcended by Jeff Hardy's daughter Beth. She's in North Carolina right now," Trish explained still doing bicep curls.
"You might wanna cancel that party for Sasha tonight guys," Randy said to DX. "No-one's going to be there. The whole locker room has been Transcended out of New York,"
DX sighed heavily and Rocky and Cena exchanged glances with them, "Are you guys sure you're ready to take on Stephanie McMahon?" Cena asked them.
"Yes we're sure and we are ready, we just need to get a little supernatural and I know just the person to help us get everyone back here," Hunter said and he called his daughter Hurricane Aurora. "I thought I told you not to let Beth Hardy out of your sight Ro-Ro? She just Trancended the entire locker room out of New York!"
"Dad, you trashed mom on national TV, what did you think she was gonna do? I'm with Carla, Cassidy and Charlene, what do you expect me to do I'm in Florida?" Aurora replied.
"Just blow them back here," Hunter said. "I'm going to have to put your brother in charge of Beth Hardy when he leaves Harvard in a couple of weeks, we cannot let this happen again,"
"Dad she has a Gift and it is geographic, that means she can do it anywhere and anytime from any place. How do you expect me to control a Gift like that?" Aurora said.
"Like you used to when things got crazy with your mom, I expect you to use your Gift to freeze her so she can't move!" Hunter said and Sasha covered her mouth.
"No Hunter, she's only 19 years old, that's not right you can't freeze a 19 year old girl. She's obviously been influenced by her evil mother and father, I got a better idea. Why don't you let Seth talk to her? He's the king of self-esteem and clearly she needs to learn how to stand up to her dirty parents," Sasha suggested.
"Gees I kinda wanted to give you a break," Hunter said to Seth but the Prayer Warrior laughed at the idea of having a break.
"No Hunter, I've spoken to Beth before and I know how troubled she is about her family. I'll fly over to her right now, where is she?" he asked Trish and Randy but the Truth Couple shook their heads.
"You can't fly over to her Seth, she's in North Carolina with the locker room. If you show up she'll Transcend you do Stephanie, Bayley and Jeff and you'll be trapped, she needs to come to you by herself," Trish said and she pointed to Seth's cell-phone, "Call her and talk to her, she'll listen to you, then we'll take it from there,"
Seth called Beth Hardy and Shawn nodded in approval before turning to Hunter in disapproval, "Sounds better than freezing her so she can't move," he said and Hunter finished his conversation with Aurora who was more interested in spending time with the 3C's than anything going on with Beth Hardy right now.
As Seth spoke to Beth Hardy he motioned for Sasha to get his Prayer Shawl but she didn't know where it was.
"Where is it?" she asked him.
"It's in my car," he said and he could see that she was bemused, "Go get Alexa this is her responsibility,"
"Its fine just tell me where it is I'll go get it," Sasha said.
"Alexa knows where it is, go find her and she'll tell you," Seth said and Sasha frowned.
"Honey I wanna get it for you, just tell me where it is and I'll get it," Sasha said and Randy cleared his throat to get Sasha's attention.
"I'll get it," he said. "You just stand there and look pretty like you have on set with Rocky and Cena for the past month. Leave the important stuff to the experts,"
Seth gave Randy his keys and he hurried back from Seth's car with the prayer shawl in hand. He placed it over Seth's shoulders but he couldn't finish fixing it over Seth because Alexa came outta nowhere and took over.
"Hey quit doing my job," she said and she watched over Seth as he prayed for Beth Hardy over the phone. Moments later the troubled Hardy girl was standing next to her in tears and Seth comforted her as she wept in his arms. Alexa and Seth prayed for Beth Hardy while Rocky and Cena looked on amazed at the power of God at work on the 19 year old Hardy girl.
"This is way better than Hollywood," Cena said. "All that time we could have been here watching Seth doing God's work instead of hanging out with his wife reading movie scripts,"
"Now you know how I feel," Sasha said as she stood watching Seth's Gift mature and felt like she had missed the whole process while Alexa appeared to be an integral part of it all. Now that she was back she wanted to be more involved but she felt like she was interfering and the last thing she wanted to do was get in the way of what God was doing through Seth and Alexa.
Trish noticed the concern on her face and smiled at her, "Don't worry Sasha, God knows what He's doing and He hasn't displaced you as the wife of the Rollins household. Just give it time and you'll understand this whole thing better soon,"
Sasha nodded, she wanted to understand things so that she didn't end up interfering and Randy gave her a knowing glance.
"Like I said, just stand there and look pretty. Its what you do best," Randy said and he meant it as a compliment even though it sounded like an insult, "Seth needs something pretty to look at after all he's been through and guess what that makes you?"
"It makes me very important doesn't it?" Sasha said and Trish and Randy smiled at her.
"Wow you catch on real quick," Trish said and Sasha smiled happy to just stand there and look pretty for the first time in her very Bossy life.
"I guess its time for a change," she said reflectively and she played with her hair while Seth and Alexa wrestled the Hell out of very important girl, who would soon become a significant part of their fight against the Broken Blackheart family.
