The ride on the train was what I was looking forward too. That was until, I was told the rules...

"You cant be serious. Come on please."

"Harry, son"

"Just for an hour can I please go sit with my friends."

The rules are you sit with me, or you stay here till we get back."

"But dad."

"Okay look, you have one hour with Ron and Hermione. That is it then for the last hour you sit with me. I will go get Draco too, and you both can talk if you want. You understand your butt will be in a seat next to me within the hour. If I have to come get you, you will be in trouble."

"Really Dad, you are the best." Snape watched his son jump up and down with excitement. When they got to platform 9 3/4, Snape went straight to the train and Harry stayed outside and waited for one of his two friends to show you, but the one he saw first was Draco. He didn't walk up to him or say a word. He just watched him pass by and give a fast smile. It was to fast for others to see but both if them saw the smile and continued on as if nothing happened. Then finally after about 10 mins he saw Ron and his whole family come.

"Hey mate, long time no see. what happened? You never wrote me. Was your family being mean to you again?" Ron was talking so fast. It was like if he did not say it all at one time then he was miss his chance.

"Well... I" Harry faked a laugh, trying to come up with a reason but not being ready to talk about it on platform 9 3/4.

"You see..."

"Now Ron. Why is it that in the first 5 seconds of seeing him you have to ask 100 questions. Really now, why don't you apply yourself to your school work and ask your teacher that many questions. It would be a nice change to you sleeping in your classes." Hermione said to Ron as she walked up.

"Hello Harry, How are you? See, that is proper conversation with someone that you haven't seen in a bit."

"Wow, you are a pain in the a**. I hope you know that". Ron said to her.

"RON WESLEY. HOW DARE YOU TALK TO HER LIKE THAT." Ron was shocked that his mom was yelling and of all the places.

"...sorry..." Ron said so his mom would stop.

"Okay guys. We can talk more on the train but it is about to leave so we need to move." Harry stated as he started running. How mad would dad be if I missed the train and I was standing right their at all ran to the train and got on and made it to there seats. The hour moved so fast. Harry was so excited to hear about there summer and see them again. He wasn't really ready to talk about his Dad, but he was running out of time and he had to see his dad in 10 mins.

"Hey you guys."

"Whats up Mate?" Ron said and Hermione looked.

"I have something to tell you and I don't have a lot of time to explain. SO... This summer I ended up at Snape's house for the summer and he is like my Dad now and there are new rules for me to fellow. One of them is to be in the same car as him in the next 8 mins now. I now I have a lot to explain but there isn't that much time to say it all. He is really pretty strict and I do get into trouble but he is not like my uncle and aunt. I really like being with him and I am sorry I didn't say anything sooner." Harry was talking so fast that the words were flying with not really any order.

"WHAT?" I thought Ron was going to loss it but it turned to sadness. "Mate if you needed a place then why didn't you come to my house?"

"Ron, I learned a lot this summer and I'm sorry but it was safer for you and your family."

"Hermione, I..." She cut him off. "You don't have to explain. If your happy then I can be happy and try to understand. We have all school year."

"Thank you."

"Yes Mate. We care about you and I am sorry."

They were talking and lost track of time. Till there was a knock. They all looked up to see a not so happy Snape. He opened the door.

"Good day to you both." He turned to harry who was seating on the other side. "I see that you have broken our deal." He pointed out of the car.

"Bye you guys." As he was walking by Snape stopped him to whisper, "Tonight after dinner you better be in our room. We have something to talk about. If you are not. I will spank you where ever you are at. " I know that he could not spank me in the public like that but it was to tell me how unhappy he was with me.

"I understand sir." If I could have run I would have, but I ended up just walking really fast into the room that Snape was sitting in. It helped that it had has name on the train car. All the teachers had a special place to sit so that students can find them. When I opened the door, I saw Draco was sitting in the room already.

"Better late then never."

"Easy for you to say. I'm the winner in trouble." Harry walked over to Draco with a smile and give him a hug. No one could see them so it didn't matter and both needed it.

"How have you been?" Harry asked. "Last time you didn't say anything to me. Not really."

"My dad was watching. I am a lot better now that school is about to start. I really like living at the school. Summers are always hard for me. They are never what they seem. The times I spend with Snape are the best for every reason. My body gets to rest."

"I understand what you mean about summer not being what it seems. Same before Snape."

"Your luck Harry."

"I think so too."

"Have you told your friends. I have to know what they think if it." Draco had a smile on his face.

"I haven't told them about us, but I did about Snape. They didn't have a lot of time to tell me how they felt really, before Snape came in to tell me I was late."

"You spent 1 hour talking about Snape that you didn't give them time to talk." Draco laughed.

"No. Smart ass. We talked about everyday stuff and in the last like 10 mins I tried to explain everything and when they were talking Snape came in."

"Harry." Draco moved next to him. "Look if your friend don't like the fact that Snape is your dad then they don't care about you. They should be happy that you are happy." They both smiled at each other. They jumped a little as the door opened and in walked Snape. Snape sat down on the other side.

"Hello Snape." Draco said with a smile.

"You both as so cheeky sometime. You know that right." Snape was smiling but he looked over at Harry and he had his head down.

"Harry, son."

"Dad." Harry had tears in his eyes. "Im sorry for being late today. I was nervous and now your mad at me again. I am always in trouble even when I try." Tears rolled down his face. "I hate that I am always going to time out, being spanked, or being grounded. I just want to be good for you."

"Come here." Harry moved so he was standing in betweens Snape's legs be they were at eye level.

"I love you and care about you. For all that time, you did whatever you wanted. That doesn't change overnight child." Hearing that helped Harry a lot. The train ride over to school was to short. Snape listened as the two boys talked and talked. Till the question came... "Can Draco spend the night?"

"Yes he can, but it doesn't change the fact you have a meeting with me first."

"Right." He acted like he was thinking so hard. "Come over at 8. That way we have time to talk and I can talk with dad."

"Okay". Draco was getting up to leave. "See you both soon." Then he put back on that fake smirk and walked out the door.

"I will see you in the Great Hall, right? Or do you need to ride with me." Snape asked

"I am leaving right now." He ride back with other houses and people that he didn't know. It was going to make it easier for now. Dinner was pretty boring. I mean we have more first years now but I sit with my friends. They did not say anything about the train ride. We were all just talking and having fun with everyone. Ron did lean over and asked if we could talk alone tonight. I told him that tonight I was to spend it with Snape. We had things to talk about.

"I bet mate. Tomorrow sometime?"

"Yes that is fine."

I made my way down to Dads room. I know it all to well. I have been here long enough to know the passwords and where I was going. So I went into his bedroom and set on the bed and waited for him to show up. I was waiting for about 10 mins when I heard the door open and close in the living room. When he saw where I was he walked in and closed the door and pulled up a chair next to the bed, so they were sitting in front of each other.

"Why were you late today. You knew the rule was one hour?"

"Yes I knew the rule. I'm in trouble and know it is fair." Harry said looking down.

"Why son?"

"I was nervous to tell my friends and in the last few mins I tried to say everything. I wanted them to know but then when we all were talking I lost track of time, because they were telling me how they felt. They want me to be happy. I'm sorry dad." Harry was still looking down.

"Come here son." Harry move and Snape give him a hug. "Everything worked out. I am not going to Spank you tonight. This is your free pass and you only get this one."

"Really?' Harry was smiling but that smile changed. "I really think I deserve one dad..."

"No. Think if it as a punishment then. That you know you need one but will not get one." Snape get up. "Sit here for another 5 mins and think about today. I'm setting up Movie and popcorn for you a Draco. He will be here in 5 mins."

"What movie?"

"I was thinking Snow dogs."

Harry was smiling. "I have wanted to see that."

"I know. I heard about it everyday for 2 weeks."

When Draco came for the sleep over Harry was excited. They talked for a little bit about what happen and life. At 10pm Snape was going to tell the boys its time for bed, but he found them asleep. Draco and Harry were leaning on one and other. Harry's head was resting on Draco's shoulder and Draco's head was resting on top of Harry. Snape laughed softly. He was thinking how close they were. Not lover but really like brothers. With magic he put the two to bed. It is going to be a fun year.
