He couldn't believe it. No, he wouldn't believe it. Finally, he found someone who was actually willing to listen, to help him with whatever he needed. But they were gone. He felt something in his chest. A feeling that wasn't too foreign to him, one that he had felt only once before. The day he lost his mother.

He pulled himself along the ground, reaching into his back pocket and pulling out his 'get out of the stupid situation I got myself in' device, and activated it. Immediately, a purple mist began to form a few feet away. He slowly managed to find his way to his feet and grab his fallen companion. With an almighty heave, he pulled Todoroki and himself through the portal.

Bakugo, who was still standing there, stunned that Todoroki would even save Midoriya considering everything he had done up until this point. He shook his head, pulling himself out of his stupor just in time to see the purple mist disappearing.

Knowing exactly what that meant, he let out a loud yell. He had let him escape again. Again he had the opportunity to stop him, and once again he had slipped through his fingers. Bakugo dropped to his knees and began to pound his fists on the ground in anger, repeatedly yelling the phrase 'Damn you!' over and over again, even long after the police finally arrived to get him out of there.

His knuckles were now torn up and there was a small pool of blood where he had punched the ground. One of the officers asked him what he was doing there with all the commotion that was going on, and he simply told them he was there to stop Midoriya.

After some further questioning at the station, his mom arrived to take him to the hospital to make sure he wasn't seriously injured and to get his hands cleaned up.

Midoriya collapsed through the portal, the limp body of Todoroki flying through with him. Kurogiri came rushing over and asked what happened, but all Midoriya could do was just point to Todoroki's chest, which still held the hole cutting straight through and out the other side of his body.

Kurogiri simply nodded and lifted the boy up and onto the dining room table. Midoriya managed to get back on his feet and attempt to walk to the table as well, only to collapse again and black out, the blood loss finally taking its effect.

He awoke who knows how long later, in his bed with his arm, legs and most of his abdomen all bandaged up. Somehow, he was still alive, considering the amount of blood that he had lost.

Then he remembered. Todoroki. He quickly jumped up out of his bed, ignoring the pain that was shooting throughout his body, and ran through the building looking for any sign of either Todoroki or Kurogiri, finally spotting the latter inside the kitchen.

He startled the man when he grabbed his shoulder and spun him round. 'Where is he?!' Midoriya yelled, demanding an answer.

Kurogiri lowered his gaze. 'I'm sorry, Midoriya. He was dead before you even brought him here. I'd go as far to say that he was died before he even hit the ground' he replied.

Midoriya was stunned. He backed away from Kurogiri, his eyes wide in shock. That shock soon turned to a boiling rage as he turned from his mentor of sorts, and stormed back through to his bedroom, grabbing the first set of clothes that he came across and threw them on.

He made his way over to the door, his chest and legs in absolute agony, but once again he ignored the pain as he grabbed his shoes and put them on as well. Kurogiri came through to the hallway. 'Where are you going?' he asked.

Midoriya laughed with a crazed look on his face. 'Where am I going? Where am I going?!' he yelled, striding toward Kurogiri. 'I'll tell you where I'm going! I'm going out there and obliterating every single person that I come across, until I get my hands on Kacchan!'

Kurogiri didn't flinch, instead he sighed. 'I'm afraid that I can't let you do that. In your current condition, you wouldn't last more than ten minutes out there.'

'Well how about we compromise then' Midoriya said. 'I'll keep my tracker turned on, and if I stop moving for more than sixty seconds, then you can bring me back. Either way, I'm going out there, whether I have to get through you in order to do so or not.'

Kurogiri didn't say anything, just took a step backwards away from Midoriya, before turning his back and walking away.

Midoriya still felt enraged, turning as well and storming out the house. He walked three blocks before he finally came across somebody. A man. He pulled out his knife, grinning like a lunatic, and ran up to the man. Before the guy could react, Midoriya's knife was already plunged deep into his chest. He spluttered and gargled on his own blood for a moment, before dropping to the ground dead.

'Mark my words, Kacchan' Midoriya said to no one as he spotted his next victims, an old couple who were standing in shock at what they had just saw. 'You are going to die. And I'm gonna be the one that ends you.'
