Hana slowly woke up in a medical bed as she looked and sighed. She looked at the side as she sees Zim carrying a plate of biscuits and glass of milk.
"Here some... biscuits and milk, as you earthworms call it," Zim said as he places it on the drawer. "... Why are you looking at the great Zim like that?"
"...Sorry..." Hana replied as she looks away.
"... Are you sensing greatness from me?" Zim grinned.
"...No..." Hana lied as she starts blushing, and then starts crying.
"Mmm? What's wrong Hana-earthworm?" Zim asked with actual concern, and then thought, ("What... am I actual concerned for someone?")
"...I'm... I'm not going back... am I?" Hana asked as she directly looks at Zim with tears on her eyes, "I... I don't want to go back... to those horrible people..."
"...You're not gonna go back to those bastards," Zim said, "After all, you have the great Zim as your protector, after all! And if that happened, I saved you once; I will save you twice then!"
"..." Hana giggled and smiled while blushing, "Thank you... that means everything to me... promise right? No matter what, if I do kidnap and get brainwashed... you'll save me, right?"
"Of course!" Zim promised boastfully, "I will save you no matter what!"
(Flashback ends)
Zim quickly wakes up and looks around in panic, which he grits his teeth and starts to tear up.
"...I...I'm sorry, Hana..." Zim thought, "I... I wasn't able to keep my promise..."
Zim looks down in sorrow as he starts to cry, and suddenly his shoulder was touched by someone, which he turns his head to no other then Drei.
"...At...at the very least... I can protect your little sister... Hana," Zim thought as he looks at Drei, who is frowning with concern, "...I'm okay Drei... I'm fine... just... got reminded of an unwanted memory, that's all,"
"..." Drei just nodded as Zim wipes his tears.
"...It's odd though..." Zim commented, "Artificial Irkens can't empathize and cry cuz they thought it would get in the way of their conquest... only... ancient ones can... no... wait... I... that would mean..."
Just before he had a realisation, Tori barged into the room and shouts, "Lily is missing!"
"What?!" Zim shouted as he quickly gets up and Drei turns to Tori. "Are you fucking joking here?!"
"No, I'm not!" Tori shouted.
"Why didn't you watch over her!"
"Because I'm busy with helping Leo and mum is busy with Vala!" Tori told him, "I looked for her everywhere, but she's nowhere to be seen!"
"Well, let's find her then!" Zim shouted.
"No shit, fucking Sherlock!" Tori agreed, "Drei, get ready because we're on a Lily hunt!"
Drei nods and the trio went out to find Lily.
(Meanwhile with Dib)
Dib running through the street at midnight. He stops for a bit as he sees the news on TV.
"It has been reported that the young princess has also gone missing as well," The news reporter reported, "So, it's going under investigation along with the assassinations of the King and Queen,"
"Shit! Shit! Shit!" Dib thought in panic, "So many things are happening that I have no idea what the hell is going on anymore!"
Suddenly, he senses something and quickly moves away... as Mire strikes the TV with its long claws.
"Wha-what the hell?!" Dib shouted as Mire turns to him, "Is that... Mire, one of the seven deadly...weapons..."
"...Yes, but not exactly..."
Dib turned his head to Oleander, who has his hood up as the sky starts getting cloudier and rains start happening.
"What...what do you mean...?" Dib asked.
"...Well... since you're gonna die, you might as well deserve an explanation," Oleander said, "I...am Oleander Scarlet and Mire AKA my mother is one of the seven deadly weapons, the only seven weapons out there that can kill the Shadow Dragon itself,"
"I know... since I have one of them as well," Dib said, "I have... the Salvation Armour, which is my boots and gloves... wait, you're not planning on stealing them after killing me, are you?!"
"...Nope, you're wrong," Oleander said, "I'm after your life for another reason..."
"And that is..."
"Ever heard of the saying 'Carry the sins of your father'?" Oleander asked him, which caught Dib off-guard.
"H...I... what...what did he... do to you?"
"...I'm glad you ask," Oleander said with a smirk as he takes off his hood, revealing his face to him.
"Wha-what?!" Dib shouted in shock as he points his gun at him, "Wh-Why the hell do you look a bit like my-my dad!?"
"Don't you mean OUR dad?" Oleander replied.
"L-Liar..." Dib accused him quietly.
"You see, a year before you were born, as in, I'm supposed to be around my 30's... until a certain bitch cursed me and now... I'm basically stuck in a child's body till I'm dead," Oleander told him.
"...Liar..."
"You want to know why she did that?" Oleander said, "So that nobody would believe me when I tell the police what our father did to MY mother!"
"Liar..."
"What he did to my mother is horrible... I could never forget that day..." Oleander said, "He turned my mother... into this machine!"
"What?!" Dib asked in shock as he looks at Mire, "T-No! That's... I..."
"Impossible? Not exactly, all you have to do is take their soul from their body and put it in another host," Oleander said, "Of course... you have to torture them mentally first so that they don't put up much to fight... that's exactly professor Membrane did to my mother just to create Mire..."
"LIAR!" Dib accused him as he quickly takes out his gun at Oleander and triggers it, but Mire quickly blocks it with her arm.
"...So you don't believe me?" Oleander asked, which Dib nods, "Fine by me, I mean, it's pretty unbelievable, so am I lying... or am I telling the truth? Who knows, if you think I'm lying or telling the truth, I don't care... I just want you dead... now, die!"
Mire releases her claws and charges at Dib, in which he rolls over and charges his glove with electricity as he punches Mire, but Mire dodges and stabs his shoulder.
"AHHHH!" Dib screamed in pain as Mire pulls out his blade and slashes his right leg, leaving huge three scars on his knees, causing him to scream again as Oleander takes his gun and just before he could trigger it... Mire quickly goes behind Oleander and blocks an attack from a certain dark green spear. "I know that spear from anywhere... that's Fiona's! Wait..."
Dib looks behind as he is slowly walking away and notices Fiona's eyes are glowing red.
"Oh shit!" Dib thought as he struggles to run away, but manages to get away as he hides at an alleyway and eavesdrops.
"...Get out before I kill you..." Fiona told him off.
"As if! I-I need to get rid of that clone!" Oleander told her off.
"...Do YoU wAnT tO diE...?" Fiona asked in a somewhat demonic and terrifying tone.
"...I'm not afraid of a little girl like you!" Oleander barked back, which pisses her off as she thrusts her spear at him, but Mire quickly blocks her attack, grabs Oleander and runs off, but Fiona just stands still as she watches him and Mire escaped.
"...He's not worth the energy... Dib is more important..." Fiona coldly muttered as she notices a trail of blood and follows it, which Dib notices her coming and quickly enters a bunch of rubbish.
Fiona notices the blood trail stops to a bunch of rubbish, which she starts searching around while Dib manages to sneak out.
"Good... she didn't notice me... now to snap her out of it..." Dib thought, "But not now, my shoulder is too damaged to fight back in case something backfired, so I should warn Min-Jung and-"
Suddenly, he felt a sharp pain in the shoulder, which his eyes slowly looks at her shoulder, noticing a spear pierces through his right arm.
"A-AHHHHHHHH" Dib screamed in pain as Fiona cuts his arm right off and the young man collapsed to the floor as he coughs off some blood, "F...Fiona... s...snap out of it... y... you're not... yourself..."
"Oh Dib... sadly, this is who I am, you cheating bastard," Fiona replied.
"Wha-wait... huh?" Dib stuttered.
"...Unfortunately, I was told to bring you to Rebecca alive," Fiona said, "so you're lucky..."
"... Wh...I... why...?"
"... I don't honestly know and even if I do, I wouldn't tell to the likes of a traitor like you," Fiona replied as Kronin teleported to the area.
"Hehe... did you get him?" Kronin giggled like a high school girl, which Fiona nods.
"Yes, he's right in front of you," Fiona pointed out.
"Shut up, you Captain I-Need-to-correct-everything!" Kronin childishly lashes out, confusing Dib. "Ah, whatever, he will be fun... to experiment on~"
"... Sure, whatever, I don't care what you do to him as long as it's painful,"
"Oh don't worry darling, it will be very painful!" Kronin said with a sadistic smirk on his face.
"W-Why are you... acting..."
"Aww, it's little Dibby confuse?" Kronin teased him as he stomps on his stomach.
"Gah!"
"Well, you see," Kronin said with a careless smile on his face, "Ever heard of the infamous serial killer who kidnaps children for experimental reasons? Well... you know you been to my lab, right?"
"... N... No..." Dib muttered as he quickly realised what he's talking about. "... Y... you're him... but... the red paint... is..."
"Yep! It's actually blood!" Kronin answered him, "I'm actually surprised nobody realised it, but I guess that's the power of paint-smell spray I invented for myself... nobody will know the difference between red paint and blood as long as I find a way to disguise the smell, especially since the blood dries up too quickly while I was so busy experimenting their bodies and even if I do find the proper time to clean it up, it wouldn't completely go away since all you need is luminol to see the cleaned up blood, so there's no point,"
"... No... I... you... split-personality...dis-" Dib is interrupted.
"Yes and no, it's more complicated than that," Kronin told him, "I don't get the time to shine all that often due to being suppressed majority in the past by a certain someone, but now, I'm finally free and get to finally have some fun!"
"..." Dib gulps as his eyes starting to get drowsy.
"Awe, are you sleepy?" Kronin taunted him.
"N... no... I... I can't die... not... now..." Dib muttered as he is slowly falling unconscious due to the amount of blood loss.
"Don't worry, you're not gonna die," Kronin ensured him, "At least, not until I finish experimenting you, of course,"
"... Fiona... W... why...?" And then, Dib's eyes close and falls unconscious.
Kronin grins as he grabs Dib by the collar and says, "Fiona, would you be a dear and go hunt down... ahem... shit, I forgot her name!"
"Lily... and you don't need to tell me twice," Fiona replied as she runs off.
"Geez, what a crazy bitch!" Kronin said, "Kind of feel sorry for the brat here, oh well,"
Kronin teleported out with Dib as Fiona hunts down Lily.
(Meanwhile)
Lily runs through the rainy night as she went upstairs and sees Min-Jung talking with Aezira.
"... What are they talking about?" Lily thought as she hides behind a tree to eavesdrop on their conversation.
"... You must be fucking insane!" Min-Jung accused her, "I mean, sure there's plenty of crazy shit going on at the moment, but this... I... I don't know what to say!"
"Oh really?" Aezira asked, "Of all the madness that has happened, this is considered the hardest to comprehend?"
"... Well... actually... thinking back on how much he looks like him... I guess I shouldn't be surprised..." Min-Jung replied, "But... I never thought they're the same person, especially since he's supposed to be dead..."
"Yeah, well the world is going mad by this point," Aezira pointed out, "Well, are you gonna tell Lily about this?"
"But would she believe me?"
"... Trust me, honey, after all this time, I think she would believe you after all the insanity she endured," Aezira pointed out.
"... Good point,"
"Well, I have to go now, ta-ta!" Aezira waves her hand farewell as she gathers up a bunch of bats and flies away as they carry her.
"..."
"... Min-Jung...?" Lily called out, catching the werewolf's attention.
"Lil'!" Min-Jung shouted as she runs up to her and embraces her, "Holy shit! Are you okay? You're not hurt, are you?! Did Ate or Kronin did anything to you!?"
"Wha-Yes, I'm fine, just calm down!" Lily told her off.
"Oh... Sorry," Min-Jung apologised as she lets her go, "I guess I'm getting scared and stressed out during all this madness, huh?"
"I suppose,"
"Anyways, I got a shit ton of things to tell you," Min-Jung told her, "Especially during my spy days,"
"Okay," Lily replied as she sits down on a bench, along with Min-Jung, "Let's hear it,"
"Okay, first... I found some weird project called project Separation," Min-Jung told her.
"What's that?"
"Well... it's said that the project involves breaking a soul into two pieces to avoid killing the host," Min-Jung explained, "Where one piece stays in the body while the other leave and either taken to another host or destroyed,"
"What's the purpose of that?" Lily asked.
"... Honestly, have no idea," Min-Jung admitted, "All I know its bad news... as well as I found something else,"
"Okay..."
Min-Jung takes out her phone and shows a hologram of a blueprint, showing the details of a girl with long hair.
"Who's that?"
"Doesn't say the name, instead it's said she's a Vessel EX," Min-Jung told her.
"A... Vessel EX?"
"Yep, it's basically a more advanced version of an Alter unit with the dragon blood and a god's soul," Min-Jung explained.
"If they're so advanced, why didn't they mass-produce it?"
"Simple; the materials are really hard to find, especially the dragon blood and it will take about years to finish it due to how rare the materials are," Min-Jung answered, "Same goes for another thing called Host ZX, except its only purpose is to host a god's soul, that's it,"
"...And let me guess, Ate is using a Host ZX as her body," Lily said.
"Yep, though I don't think we need to worry about that Vessel EX," Min-Jung said.
"Why?"
"Simple, it's said that she died during the Kasai war when the bombing on the labs happened," Min-Jung told her.
"...Wait... the bombing..." Lily muttered.
"I'm sorry, but what did you say?"
"...I said the bombing... I... my memories are a little fuzzy, so I don't know if I was founded during the Kasai war or before..." Lily repeated herself, which makes Min-Jung's eyes widen in shock.
"... Well, who knows, most likely before the war since you're the same age as us and the war started about, like seven years ago, so I'm sure it's nothing... anyways, there's also something else... there's... something Aezira told me that took me off guard and... quite unsettling honestly..." Min-Jung admitted, trying to change the topic.
"... I... and that is..."
"...It's Professor Kronin..."
(Meanwhile with Dib)
(Dream)
Dib looks at his hands, which is stained with blood and a corpse in front of him, who is a man wearing a white male kimono and long black hair... and next to him is Ronin... with blood coming out of his eye...
(Dream ended)
"Gah!" Dib gasped as he looks around in panic, "...That dream again... why do I keep dreaming of that event... I can't remember anything about it, heck, I don't even know if it was real or not...?"
Dib notices... he's in Kronin's lab and the 'red paint', which is actually blood. He looks at his arm... which is now replaced by a robotic arm.
"Whoa... I... have a new arm..." Dib thought until he heard some humming, "Shit! Kronin is here! No... I... I can't just run away since he's a serial killer! He... he has to be punished! Especially all the pain he caused behind SEG's back..."
Dib slowly gets up from the table and slowly walks behind Kronin, who is working on a computer. He takes his deadly weapon from a table behind him and as he carefully sneaks behind Kronin...
(Meanwhile with Lily and Min-Jung)
"He's... a homunculus...?" Lily asked in shock, which Min-Jung nods.
"Yep, those type of zombies that was revived by magic," Min-Jung said, "Except you know... they don't look dead except their red eyes, dangerously pale skin and platinum blonde hair,"
"Yeah... I always found the fact he hides his eyes from others with a mask is odd, but now... it makes so much sense..." Lily said which makes her eyes widen in shock, "Wait... no... it's..."
"Yep... it's exactly who you're thinking of," Min-Jung said, "It's him alright... he's back..."
(Meanwhile with Dib)
Dib gives a little zap on his shoulder, causing Kronin to look behind him, and then Dib punches his face so hard that he flies to a bunch of boxes and his mask broke.
"... Now... to arrest him..." Dib muttered as he walks towards Kronin and grabs him by the collar... but immediately drops him the moment he sees his face, "... T...that... that can't be... y... you..."
Dib starts to tear and shaking as Kronin looks at him with the same expression with his dull red eyes and facial features being very similar to Dib's.
"... Dib... is that... you?"
"... I can't believe..." Dib said, "... Dad... you...you're alive..."
