Nosferatu News: Before I get to the usual ish on the chapter, I just wanted to ask something from y'all since there's been over a few dozen reader's that have visited this story now since I started it.

If you have any feedback: question's, suggestion's, your opinion of my work so far, anything, please don't hesitate to leave a review. I know it might sound a little weird to some of y'all, but I'd be very grateful to hear something from y'all in regards to this whole experience I've dived into. I'm not trying to throw a pity party here, not in the slightest, I just don't want this to start feeling like I'm typing stuff out into a void.

Anyway, all that aside, time to get to the chapter:

That weird almost sixth sense type of sensation Derek and Barricade were feeling wasn't just some strange coincidence, while they don't know it at the time, something very special just happened...something important enough to warrant the meeting of a certain deity.

Chapter 21: The Bond

Derek felt himself enveloped in the familiar dreamscape that was the garage of the old house back in Southeastern Texas with another storm rolling in. Everything felt so real to him. He could smell the rain, feel the cool breeze tickling the hair on his arms as it was blown in front of the approaching, darkening stormfront. He saw bolt's of lightning off in the distance, accompanied by the familiar crack of thunder in the surrounding air. His family was with him in the garage, so this took place when he was still a teen...back when he still had his family...

He quickly pushed reality away and let himself burrow into the serenity of his dream. The group stood there enjoying the incoming storm as they talked about various things. It was peaceful..almost too peaceful. The nightmare that Derek worried about evidently never came. The world didn't suddenly shift to hellfire, he wasn't plunged into a dark interrogation room in the heart of another torture session as his captors tried anything they could to get something other than his name, rank, and number, none of that...just peace, pure bliss.

Derek continued to take everything in as the storm got closer, the cool rain beginning to fall against his skin in a drizzle. It soon got a little heavier and turned into a light shower as it started to soak his arms, the cool feeling engulfing him like an old friend's embrace. Just as everything started up, thing's began to gradually change. A police officer drove by in their police cruiser: the standard Dodge Charger Derek's Town had transferred to over the years. The officer stopped in front of his house and rolled the driver's side window down as they started to talk with Derek's dad about the storm that hadn't yet hit, apparently they..well she, was a pretty big weather nerd herself. Something felt weird about the officer though, her voice was...strangely familiar, however Derek couldn't put his finger on why he recognized the officer.

The world gradually began to shift into a darkly lit room of some sorts. It wasn't an unnerving or unsettling shift, just a slow transition into a new setting. It looked like it was an old hotel room or something similar. Derek realized that he was staring at a wall and slowly turned around to get his bearings: The room had a few lamps hanging on the walls, a double door marked the entry and exit point. There was a few pieces of furniture around the room, but nothing much really. In the middle of the room were two red leather armchair's placed with a small, circular, wooden table off to the side and between them. It seemed like the world was cast in a green tint. A strong thunderstorm raged outside of the room, flashes of lightning shining through the closed curtains of the room. A bald, African-American man wearing a black leather trenchcoat and circular sunglasses stood at the window, peering through the curtains into the stormy night outside. Derek suddenly picked up on where he was and what he was in: This was the scene in The Matrix where Neo first meets Morpheus. That was Morpheus standing at the window...so Derek HAD to be Neo, right? Derek brought his hands up to observe as a first impression before looking at the rest of his body: His hands were in the familiar tan flight gloves that had fingerless cut-outs for his thumb, index, and middle finger's. Looking down he saw the new chest rig for the Mk 17 draped over his Multicam flight suit, complete with all the patches and tags. Derek reached up to touch his head but only felt the cool exterior of his flight helmet against his hands. The visor was up and right mask strap unhooked, letting the tubeless oxygen mask hang free off to the left side of his face. He wasn't Neo...he was himself.

"What the heck..?" The question verbally rang out to the world without Derek even noticing the utterance in his confusion.

Morpheus turned around, "Ah, we meet at last." Derek stared dumbfounded, "Morpheus...?" "Morpheus" shook his head after giving a deep laugh, "No Pilot, I am not Morpheus." He then motioned to the chair's. Derek complied and sat down with "Morpheus". Everything still felt so..REAL...it was all just too overwhelming to figure out, none of it made sense. "Morpheus" seemed to sense the pilot's confusion and began talking, "I know you have many questions about the situation right now Pilot. To answer the most important one: No, I am not Morpheus. Secondly, what you see around you is a creation I deemed to be most acceptable in assisting our communication in relatable way. Thirdly, this isn't a dream per se, it may feel like a dream, however this is just the most direct way for me to communicate to you."

That cleared a lot of thing's up for the pilot, but there was still one big question rattling around in Derek's head, "If you're not Morpheus...then who are you?" "Morpheus" kicked a leg up and leaned back into his chair, "Pilot, has the name "Primus" ever been said or mentioned at all in your encounters with Cybertronian's?" Derek slowly nodded his head as he answered, still not following what was going on, "Yes they have. Primus seems to the the Cybertronian equivalent of my God."

"Morpheus" then smiled before answering, "Derek, I have rarely ever visited with your kind, however what you have done has made it more than necessary." Derek got a little choked up at what was just said, wracking his head to make sure he wasn't in some stupor, "Wait hold on, let me get this straight...You're Primus...?" "Morpheus" nodded, "How do I know you're real and this isn't just some strange dream?" "Morpheus" answered with, "Derek, how do you know your God is real? Is there any obvious sign you can point to? Or must you have true faith and believe?"

It all made sense now to Derek, this was Primus, just in a form he could relate to. "Primus, why are you visiting me? There are many more significant people in the world than one fighter pilot, I'm just a nobody that got shot down and-" Primus held up a hand to stop the pilot, "Derek despite what you think of yourself, you are most definitely significant due to what you have been able to accomplish." The realization of what was going on slammed into Derek but he still wasn't completely sure. "...Is..this about Barricade...?" A broad smile forms across Primus' face, "Precisely Derek. You did something nobody else has ever been able to do. You were able to encourage her to fully trust someone. In doing this you also created a bond never before seen since the creation of the Cybertronian race."

Derek tilted his head a little out of confusion, "A bond..? Wait, like sparkbonded? We don't see each other like that, we aren't even connected like that..." Primus lightly laughed, "Derek, tell me, how is your sister feeling at this very moment?" The pilot concentrated his focus in on that sensation he felt radiating from Barricade when Starscream was just about to arrive. Surprisingly he began to...feel her emotion's? "She's...concerned...worried about how I'm feeling...wait am I actually feeling this?" Primus nodded in acknowledgment before getting into the explanation.

"Yes Derek, you are actually feeling her emotion's. There are other types of bonds for Cybertronian's Derek: Two sparkling's born from the same spark will have a lasting bond with each other throughout their entire existences, Seeker's can form a bond between three other individuals with the same effect, this is known as a Trine. However the one you share with Barricade is something entirely new. Your bond is like that of two born from the same spark, however your human nature makes it different: a hybrid bond. The bio-mechanics of it are simply too complex to explain, however you can both feel each other through this bond. Thoughts, feelings, you can even talk to each other through the bond. Suffice it to say: you have essentially become siblings. Right now the bond isn't as strong as it can be yet since it has just been solidified recently, however it will inevitably strengthen through time and experience."

Derek was flabbergasted, his jaw was almost through the floor by the time the explanation ended. He took a very deep breath and tripped over himself as he tried to respond, "T-that's...amazing, like I mean...I-I knew we considered each other to be sibling's by now..but I never through it would, you know, be this..this-" He struggled to find the words, however Primus answered for the pilot in a calm and reassuring voice, "Strong, one that neither of you ever expected it to be so strong." The pilot just silently nodded and collapsed into his chair, his mind still going supersonic.

Derek eventually got somewhat calmed down and asked a question that was now burning in his mind, "Primus...does she know about this?" Primus warmly smiled and spoke with a father-like tone, "No my son, but she will very soon." With that he stood up and extended a hand, Derek slowly pushed himself up as well. "It has been a pleasure to meet you Pilot, I wish you the best as you progress through your journey." Derek grasped the man's hand and joined him in a handshake, "Thank you Primus. It's been an honor to meet you." Primus gave a hearty laugh, "No Derek, the honor is mine. I will call you back shortly." With that the room slowly faded to black before transitioning back to the familiar scene Derek had experience earlier with the thunderstorm coming ever-closer to Derek's house. His mind broke the sound barrier again, '...he just called me his son...and what's he going to bring me back for...?

Barricade continued to watch Cops while Derek was dead asleep on his cot. She'd occasionally glance over at him to make sure he was alright, for whatever reason she kept thinking he would shoot up from the clutches of a nightmare. An hour of this went by before she felt herself unconsciously drifting into recharge, for some reason she had gotten extremely exhausted for reasons unknown. She told Starscream that she was going to recharge for a bit before getting up and quietly heading over to Derek's cot where she carefully sat down and leaned against the wall near the foot of the cot, gradually drifting into recharge after gently covering the pilot with her right hand to keep him warm. The pilot seemed to unconsciously feel the presence and slowly grasped the talon-like thumb and index finger of the big metal hand as he pulled it closer to his body, hugging it as best as he could once he got in in place.

She rarely dreamed during recharge, it just wasn't something she did for whatever reason, however she did fall into a dream this time. Barricade found herself standing on what appeared to be a human airbase among a crowd of people...wait...she was at their height level...was she a human right now? She brought her hands up to her face: no flesh, all metal, along with the rest of her body once she looked down. She was in her real form, but just at a human size, data told her she stood at about 6'1. The strangest thing was that nobody seemed to notice the Decepticon among them, even when she went up to someone and poked them or waved a hand in front of their face, they just remained doing whatever it was they had been. She was essentially invisible, like she was living out a movie scene without actually being in it.

Barricade began to take in her surroundings: the airbase was mostly inactive, save for a few aircraft occasionally taking off or landing, many groups of people seemed to be holding presents or cards, was it some kind of social gathering? She then noticed all the banners mounted along the flightline, draped in patriotic designs with "Welcome Back 253rd!" written across each banner. Things started to click into place now: The 253rd was the first fighter squadron Derek was assigned to, so this was an event from the past. Barricade then noticed a group of people directly in front of her talking to a maintenance crew there was a sign above the hangar they stood in front of that read "2nd Lt. Derek Hernandez "Helldiver 1-6". These people had to be Derek's parental unit. There were three of them, two adult's and one child. Derek's father stood at around 5'7, he was Hispanic, had black hair and brown eyes, was in his mid-Thirties, and medium build. He wore a plain Dark Cherry Red T-shirt over bootcut jeans and cowboy boots. Derek's mother looked to be a year of so younger than Derek's father, and was a little shorter at around 5'5. She had luscious black hair that fell a little past her shoulders and blue eyes. She was tanned, although there was an obvious hint of Northwestern U.S heritage in her. She wore a decorative shirt with various flowers covering it over jeans and a pair of dress sandals. In the middle of Derek's parents was a small little girl who looked to be around nine. Her brown hair was put into a french braid and fell a few inches past her shoulders. Her eyes were a beautiful shade of blue, and she appeared to be more on the Hispanic side based on her skin tone. She wore a turquoise skirt that fell down and ended mid-way to her knees, with black and blue stripped leggings and black Espadrille's finishing the look.

It was a little sad to realize that these three people would die sometime soon, Barricade's spark especially wrenched when she thought of his adorable little sister passing away way earlier than she should have, however she quickly pushed those thought's away. Right now the only thing that mattered was taking in the moment.

The sound of approaching aircraft soon filled the skies, accompanied by cheering from the crowd when sixteen A-10's appeared, drifting toward the airbase. The aircraft were in four, four-ship formations. The crowd went into an uproar when an announcement about the pilot's returning home after a six month deployment to the Pacific filled the air through various speaker arrays. The cheering continued as the shark-faced Thunderbolt's drifted by directly above the crowd before heading off to set up for individual landing's. The planes trickled down and drove down the taxi ways one by one as the groups landed. Derek was part of the second group to land, his Warthog, Nose number: "700", made a perfect landing with full flaps and airbrakes deployed. Derek stowed the airbrakes as he drifted towards an taxiway and off of the main runway where he raised the canopy and waved to other pilot's and their families as he made his way to his spot.

When Derek neared his hangar he popped the airbrakes out and wiggled the stick left and right to make his Warthog "wave" it's ailerons to his family, to the complete bliss of his little sister who excitedly bounced up and down, giggling and squealing that "Derek and Hoggie were back home!". Derek brought the jet into it's spot following his Crew Chief's hand signals. The jet bounced up and down a little on the nose gear before finally settling down when the brakes stopped the jet and locked it in place. Derek quickly shut the jet down and got out in a controlled manner to greet his jet's maintainer's before losing all bearing and sprinting to his family twenty feet away. The young pilot, still adorned with his gear and helmet, dropped the bag he had in his right hand and affectionately hollered, "Emily! Ah get over here you little animal!" as he went to scoop up his little sister and twirl around a few times, his inner big kid coming out as he giggled madly with the little tot in his hands as the two spun. Derek then brought his little sister over to his Warthog where she hugged the nose and gave it a pat, thanking it for bringing her brother back home safely. He then walked back to his parent's, little Emily still clinging to him as they went into a big group hug that lasted over a minute as the pilot was welcomed back home.

Barricade, for some unknown reason, found herself being dragged over to the group, her feet automatically moving under her. She got over to the group and paused as she awkwardly looked over them before slowly outstretching her arms and joining in. She flinched with surprise when Derek's father reached out and brought her into the group. Surprise quickly turned into bliss as she felt a warmth wash over her frame, the group seeming to non-verbally thank her for joining their family.

The scene started to fade, along with the group around her. She was gradually transitioned to a room somewhere on Cybertron. She brought her hands up to her face, wondering what just happened. The room seemed familiar for some reason, a window to her left showed a Cybertron filled with life instead of the wasted husk it had now become after the ravages of prolonged civil war. She was then transitioned over to a pitch black room...or space. There was no light source in the space, and she felt as if she was floating in the air that surrounded her. She turned all her lights on, steady beams of light pouring out all around her, however the light was just sucked up by the darkness. Some kind of light began to shine far above her. She turned her head to look up and saw a ball of light descending down. She turned her lights of and watched the ball descend, a glowing sphere of many alternating colors, however a bluish-white light seemed to be the most prevalent color. The sphere of light continued descending until it stopped about fifty feet in front of her at eye-level. She curiously observed the ball until a deep and warm voice radiated from the sphere, "Come my child."

Barricade began to drift over, but stopped about twenty feet out as she verbally asked the question that had been burning within her processor, "Primus, is this you..?" The sphere spoke again, "Yes my child. Come to me." She drifted after Primus as he began moving into a dimly-lit hallway that led into a room of some old hotel. The sphere turned into what she recognized as Morpheus from The Matrix. She remained in her true form as she drifted into the hallway and hovered above the checkerboard floor before slowly lowering down, immediately noticing two things as she entered the room and shut the door behind her: She was human-sized again, and the scene in the movie that takes place in the room is where the protagonist, Neo, meets Morpheus.

Primus motioned over to the armchair facing the one he was leaning over the back of. She complied and sat down in the chair, leaning back and letting her frame sink into the plush leather after realizing how comfortable it actually was. Maybe she'd experiment some with her holoform sometime in regards to various sensations? It could be essentially like being a human, just without the fear of death, it was also more practical than using her actual form for various reasons, mostly the size difference.

Primus walked around to the front of his chair and sat down, crossing a leg as he began addressing her, telling her the same things he told Derek about their bond. He then asked her if she had any question's about the bond. There was only one, however she wasn't looking forward to the answer she predicted to hear, "Primus, is there anything I can do immediately to strengthen our bond?" Primus gave her a comforting look as he gave the answer she so dreaded to hear, "My child as much as it will be uncomfortable to discuss, the most expedient method of strengthening the bond would be through telling your brother about your past. You know some about his now, however he still knows very little about your's." Barricade grimaced internally at having to discuss her past, it wasn't something she wanted to remember, there was a lot of darkness that came from the civil war that surrounded her at the time, and still even to this day to a degree. She pushed all that away and just nodded to Primus, "I'll do it."

Primus gave a warm, comforting smile, "Excellent my child. I know it is a painful subject for you to discuss, however I have no doubt that you will not hesitate hesitate in what you say." Praise from Primus himself? That's definitely a morale booster, "Thank you Primus. Is there anything else that needs to be done before you return me back?" Primus uncrossed his leg and got up before walking over to the door, talking as he went, "Yes there actually is. The bond you two have formed warrants a mark to signify the bond. For that I need both of you in my presence." Primus opened the door revealing her brother, almost like it was on some kind of cue. Derek nodded to Primus when the door was opened for him, "I guess you were right about seeing me again soon." Primus smiled at the pilot, "Indeed my son. I brought you back so you can be marked for the bond you have formed with someone I believe you may know." With that he stood aside and motioned Derek into the room.

Derek immediately noticed Barricade sitting in one of the chairs in a human-sized version of her true form. His eyes lit up a bit as he walked over to his sister, "Hey sis, never thought I'd see you like that." Barricade stood up and spread her arms wide while shifting her weight to her left leg, giving Derek a cocky look as he approached "Yeah, well, here I am fleshbag." She then then yanked the pilot into an embrace with equal cockiness, causing him to shoot of a little surprised yelp. The two hugged each other for a few seconds before Derek got lightly pushed away just enough to receive a playful shove against his left shoulder, "You know, I still can't believe we formed this bond." Derek returned the shove, smiling while answering, "Yeah I know. I never thought I'd consider someone as ugly and temperamental as you to legitimately be my sister." Barricade gave the pilot a mock look of disgust before striking some weird modeling pose and stating, "Oh please. I'm beautiful, just ask all the mechs that will be after me when they find out where I went." Derek scoffed at the display, "Ha! Yeah, the only person who thinks you would be beautiful is your mother." To which he was quickly rebutted with, "Yeah, well what about your Warthog?" The pilot flinched a little bit in pain when that comment hit him, you could call him ugly, but calling his jet ugly was just crossing the line. "Hey, you leave my Hog out of this! I don't go around talking about your vehicle-form now do I?" he replied with a tinge of hurt in his tone. He was quickly corrected with, "Well it's not your vehicle-form because you're not Cybertronian, and don't even think about saying something smart about mine, I'll run your squishy self over."

Derek admitted defeat this time and motioned over to Primus who had now moved to the outside of the table that was near the two chairs, "Alright we can keep bashing on each other later, let's do what we gotta do now and not force him to wait any longer." Two turned and joined Primus around the table as they got ready for whatever way this "mark" would be applied.

Prius nodded at the two before before getting the process started by waving toward their hands, "Place your forearm's on the table with the palm of your hands facing upwards." The two silently complied, Derek put his left arm on the table while Barricade went with her right arm. Primus brought his hands over the two's forearm's, his hands starting to glow blue as he warned, "Prepare yourselves. You will most likely feel some pain and discomfort while the marks are formed." Derek brought his right hand up into a fist and looked at Barricade, "Let's do this sis." Barricade brought her left hand up and fist-bumped the offered fist, sarcastically answering the pilot with, "Better not cry bro." The two then nodded at Primus to signify that they were ready. Derek took a deep breath while Barricade remained stone-face as Primus brought his hands directly over the two's forearm's.

Blue arcs of electricity began to shoot from the hands of Primus and over to the forearm's of the siblings, covering them with a blue glow from the discharges. Tinglings of discomfort became a dull, prickling pain as the marks started to burn into their respective owner's skin. Derek shot out a quick exhale before slowly taking in a breath while gritting his teeth to counter the pain. Barricade quietly grimaced while occasionally micro-flinching as the same pain raced through her circuit's.

After what felt like an unbearable amount of time, the electrical arcs finally ceased, leaving only the faintest smell of burnt flesh and metal as Primus backed up, the blue glow absent from both him and the two siblings.

"It is done." The process took about eight second's max, however it felt more like ten minutes of slow prodding from a weak taser. The siblings slowly brought theirs sore forearms up to see what was tattooed onto them.

Both had the same tattoo: An angularly drawn, and almost alien looking Phoenix against a heater shield that looked similar to the Decepticon emblem. Both marks had the same color-scheme with the Phoenix being an Anchor Grey with a While outline, and the shield being a Aegean Blue with a matching White outline. The weird thing about the tattoo's is that they were glowing in a dull radiance like some weird bio luminescence. They glowed the same shade of Blue as Primus' hands when he was implanting them.

Derek said what both siblings were thinking, "Why are our mark's glowing...?" Primus, who was now at the window of the room looking out into the stormy night, began explaining why the marks were glowing, "Your marks are extension's of your bond, whenever you two are closely tuned in to each other, like you are now, they will glow in the manner you currently see them. The marks will also glow when you are internally communicating with each other. The glow is both a voluntary, and non-voluntary happening. If you are tuned in to each other, but do not want the mark to glow, you can easily douse the glow without really even consciously thinking about it. The marks can also be used as a way to locate each other if you become split up, the glow will become brighter the closer you are in proximity to each other. There is only one circumstance where you cannot at all control the glow, that being whenever one of you is under extreme distress. This will signify that your sibling requires immediate action of some kind to help them with whatever they are dealing with. This is just a visual addition to the "pull" you will feel through your bond.

The siblings had managed to keep up with the info dump the entire time, nodding or doing something to signify that they got what was being said. It wasn't really to hard to grasp, the marks were basically just a visual representation of the bond. It was still a lot to take in, especially for Derek since he had no knowledge whatsoever about this type of thing due to the differences in Human and Cybertronian culture. It would take some time to get accustomed to this new bond, however that could be said for both siblings. Primus then turned from the window, "Do either of you have any questions about your marks or your bond?" Both said "No Primus" in an almost exact unison. Primus smiled and nodded, "Very well. I will return you back to your current reality. I wish both of you the best of luck in your endeavor's."

With that, the room slowly faded to black and back into reality. Both came back to consciousness relatively quickly. Derek quickly slapped his visor down when he remembered that Starscream was in the warehouse, who was now sat down in re-charge in the same spot he had been since Derek was last awake. Barricade silently withdrew her hand to let the pilot get up if he wanted to. The pilot then brought his watch up to his face to see what time it was since it was now dark outside the warehouse. The watch read the time as 4:28 AM. He had been out for around fifteen hours, there was no way he was going to get back to sleep now. The pilot hauled himself up and turned so his back was leaning against the wall next to the cot while his feet were hanging over the edge.

The pilot rolled up the left sleeve of his flight suit to see what his mark was doing. The mark was still glowing like it had been when he was with Primus. He looked up to Barricade and showed her his glowing mark, to which she tilted her right forearm over to show that her's was also glowing. Her glowing optics shot over to his mark before swinging over to her own mark, non-verbally seeming to ask him what he wanted to do about the marks instead of asking him over the bond. Derek doused the light of his mark and let his sleeve hang loose, his sister quickly following his lead. Derek then slowly stood up and headed for the door that was near his corner after digging his phone out and activating the flashlight. He decided to speak over the bond instead of talking out loud, "I'm gonna head outside. I need some fresh air." It felt extremely weird to speak that way, another thing he would have to get used to. Barricade answered over the link as he went through the door, "I'm going to join you, I'll be out soon."

The cool air of the nocturnal desert was a welcomed embrace to the pilot as he stepped through the threshold. He killed the light and stowed his phone as his eyes took in the moonlit landscape. He walked toward the back of the warehouse and out a few hundred feet to a large rock that would keep him hidden in case Starscream got curious and headed outside. Derek got to the spot and sat down, leaning against the rock and sliding his visor up. The full moon basked the Earth in a peaceful glow, this was helped by the clear skies tonight. Derek tilted his head up to the heavens and got comfortable as he began stargazing. The night sky out here was awesome due to the lack of light pollution, truly a sight to behold. Derek relaxed and took in each heavenly body that resided in the sky. Stargazing was one of his favorite activities to do when the chance arose. He loved learning about the universe, but he also loved to take in the pure beauty that such a sight could give.

The silence of the night was soon broken by footfalls from the direction of the warehouse. Derek felt Barricade's presence through the bond and continued taking in the night sky as she approached. Barricade got over to the rock and laid down to Derek's left, further hiding him with her frame. She quietly spoke up after getting comfortable, "What's up bro?" Her voice was back to the cool and soft tone only he knew. The pilot kept his eyes to the heaven's as he answered, "Just stargazing. I don't feel like being stuck in there with him and there's no way I'm getting back to sleep tonight." The two quietly watched the stars, occasionally pointing out and saying something interesting about a specific star or formation for around ten minutes before Barricade brought up new subject, "You know, besides all the stuff I have on you, and part of what Primus showed me, I still don't know a lot about you." Derek thought about what she said, really neither of them knew anything about each other if it were to be looked at objectively. "Yeah...you know we really don't know much of anything about each other. I guess now would be a nice time to talk about our past's."

Barricade grunted in acknowledgement before asking a question, "So...you want to start first?"

Derek nodded, "Sure. Let's do it.

Sorry for the cliffhanger, but I'm sure I've horribly neglected to give some good backstory to my character's, so the next chapter('s?) will focus on the history on the history of both Derek and Cade'. I will also be changing the title of the story to "Firebird Lost". I personally just think that's sounds better than the current one, however if y'all prefer the current one or have suggestions, fire away. I will also be making some changes to the summary of the story as well, again for personal preference. I will also be modifying the summary of all the other things I've written for this story's universe so there isn't any confusion.

Also, I want to apologize for taking so long to throw something up for y'all. I've been really distracted with reading some stuff I found on here lately, not to mention grinding a bit on Modern Warfare cause of Season 4 dropping. (Ya boy finna get his hands on a Vector again! Oh I'm so ready to mow people down with that beauty!)

See y'all in the skies- Your local Nosferatu Pilot

(P.S- I've also been playing a lot of Ace Combat lately. I main the Warthog so if you're playing multiplayer on Ace 7 for Xbox and get butchered by some psycho in a woodland camo A-10 running the Garuda low-vis emblem, it's probably me)
