(The Legend of Bloody Mary)
It was nighttime and Kaede and Anastasia were watching a movie together,
"Dear friend? Have you ever heard the legend of Bloody Mary?" Anastasia said as she turned towards Kaede,
"Yesss and I use to be scared to say her name in the mirror but I think that she's fake in terms of the mirror stuff but Mary the 1st was real" Kaede replied back as Anastasia's eyes were filled with wonder,
"Mary 1st of England! And my mother always told me stories about her and she was quite vicious and had many people killed under her rule hence the name Bloody Mary! And I used to always say her name in the mirror cause I'm that fearless Anastasia but of course nothing happened and my sisters were pretty scared when I did it since they believe in the legend of her appearing in the mirror" Anastasia boastfully said as she had a proud and mischievous look on her face,
"Wait aren't you related to Mary in a way?" Kaede said with a look of confusion on her face,
"Honestly the Royal family tree is very confusing!" Anastasia said with a small laugh,
"Wanna try saying Bloody Mary?" Kaede said with a smug look on her face as Anastasia did the same look,
"Yup! And Bloody Mary doesn't scare us! plus she might know that i'm her cousin, niece or whatever! And spare us from her terrible hand!" Anastasia said confidently as both girls got up and prepared for the ritual,
"Okay you need one candle for the ritual!" Anastasia said as she handed a candle to Kaede as the girls went towards the bathroom,
"I'll go first…" Anastasia said
Kaede wished her luck and she went into the pitch black bathroom as Anastasia litted her candle and took deep breaths,
"Bloody Mary...Bloody Mary...Bloody Mary" Anastasia calmly said as she spun around three times and waited as all of the sudden Anastasia screamed bloody murder,
"Anastasia!" Kaede cried out as she turned on the lights to see Anastasia's sneaky smile,
"Got you! and did I scare you gooood!" Anastasia said as she chuckled,
"Anastasia!" Kaede playfully whined as she soon chuckled as well as all of the sudden the lights turned off as both girls screamed bloody murder and ran towards Kaede's room,
"Ummmmm that was not meant to happen?!" Anastasia said as she tried to catch her breath,
"M-Maybe it was a power outage! R-right?" Kaede said in denial as she huddled next to Anastasia as a loud bang erupted towards their door and at the same time both girls screamed even louder than before and huddled tightly,
"Okay Doc! This is not funny anymore and you're scaring me!" Anastasia said in panic,
"Yeah doc cut it out already!" Kaede said as well as the doorknob began to rattle as if someone was trying to open the door,
"Anastasia!...Kaede!" a voice said as the rattling got more intense,
"NO! Leave us alone!" Anastasia cried out,
"This can't be true right? We're really gonna be killed by some old ghoul?" Kaede thought to herself as the door eventually opened
"T-h" the voice only muttered as both girls screamed bloody murder and threw objects at the figure and as that the figure tumbled on the floor and both girls ran past the figure,
"Anastasia! We need to get out of this house!" Kaede cried out as both girls ran down the stairs,
"You got that right!" Anastasia said as all of the sudden the lights came back on much to the girl's relief,
"Oh thank god!" Kaede cried out as the same figure appeared up the stairs,
"Guys! It's me!" Doc cried out as he rubbed his head in pain as both girls looked up and were shocked at the truth,
"Oh my goodness! We are so sorry! And you should have said something! And this prank wasn't funny at all!" Anastasia cried out in relief,
"She's right...shutting off the lights like that" Kaede also cried out,
"No no! I checked on you guys cause the lights came off and you guys were screaming like crazy!" Doc explained as he went downstairs,
"Than who called our names in a creepy manner" Anastasia said with a serious look on her face,
"Huh? That wasn't me…I simply tried to open your door" Doc said in confusion as both girls were wide eyed and looked at each other in shock
"Oh my…" Anastasia said in surprise,
"Probably just our imagination since we were scared" Kaede said trying to come up with an explanation,
"Yeah you are right! But let's head to bed and I am TIRED from this scary night!" Anastasia said in her playfully dramatic manner,
"You got that right!" Kaede said as both girls ran upstairs for bed,
"I wonder...what was that voice...could it be nah maybe it was just our fear" Anastasia thought to herself as she turned off her light and went to sleep
