Natsus pov:
It's officially the start of mating season and to say that Lucy was taking it well... Well that's just something that isn't true. She currently locking herself inside of a guest room. I've been telling her that I can relieve her from the pain but she wont listen saying that she refuses because there's a higher chance of her getting pregnant and she isn't ready for that. I however really want little pups running around. This whole manor is huge and empty, the more people that are in it, the more of a home it feels. I frown as Lucy whimpers through the door that I'm currently sitting outside of. I want to make sure that she is fine. If she needs anything then I'm right next to her for it.
"Luce, open the door please" I plead.
"Natsu, I won't be able to control myself if I open this door" She groans on the other side.
Running my hand through my hair I mentally curse those words for having an effect on me, "Luce, I'll peel you of off me if I have to. I just need to make sure that you're okay".
There's a aching silent minute before shuffling of feet can be heard. The latch to the door opens and Lucy emerges from the darkness. I try to hold back a laugh as her hairs slightly messy, sticking up in all kinds of directions. I direct my eyes to her face. I nod, I boil some water and put some pasta in it, following into another pan next to it, I heat up some tomato sauce. Whilst I wait for the pasta to soften, I sit at the island resting my head on my arms. Lucy isn't the only one who is in pain from this whole mating season, us males get effected too just not as much as the females or in the same way as them. "Damn" I mumble as Lucy turns her glare to me after shutting the door.
"You should of killed her" She growls, "You're mine".

"I forgot about that" I mumble.

"I need to go check with the guards to see if they let her in, if they did then we don't have to worry but if she snuck in then we need to do a perimeter check".

"I'll make us some pancakes and bacon when I get back too. Surely you're hungry after that".

I nod before slipping out of the room, making my way outside. The guards looking troubled at my appearance.
"Do you know anything about Lisanna?"
One of the guards looks away, basically reeking in guilt. "She said she had some homework for you" He mumbles.
"So you allowed a person into my home without my approval?" I ask in disbelief, they should know better.
"I apologise sir!" He chants over and over again, his tongue falling out of his mouth. Must be a habit?
"Go take the rest of the day of, I'll decide what to do with you later".
As soon as he disappears, I turn my attention to another guard. "Did you see her leave?"
"Yes sir!".
I turn on my heel and make my way to Lucy, shaking my head with disappointment. How am I meant to rely on my pack members when they are so clueless as to something to simple and basic. Luce could have been hurt or injured, that girl can not be trusted. This just proves it.
