AN Hi, I was going to update during the weekend, but I am on a new laptop (we accidentally installed a virus named "My-Mother-Pressed-Too-Many-Buttons-At-Once" not very fun). This is not my laptop by the way. One last thing before I get on with the show (Chapter) is that if I don't upload for a while, I'm working on something big XD. P.S I also have to set it up so it's happy with my informal style of writing.

The trip to the big building was… uneasy. Scott wasn't happy with the awkward silence as they trudged unhappily to the Shard. This was where Scott had found Stryker's location (with a tad bit of light hacking that he was sure would have taken Lehnsherr longer to pull off). Jean stopped. Her eyes started glowing gold. It freaked Scott out. She stared up at the tall building then shook her head and looked down. She started to float a few inches off of the ground and pointed at the concrete. "The hell?" Raven muttered."
"I can see an elevator," Jean began, her voice backed up by millions more, from children to grown men and all in between. She turned her head and looked into Scott's eyes. "I am not Jean, however. But she is in here," she tapped her head, "I read your thoughts. She knows…" Stryker exited the building, and seeing Jean floating, he turned and bolted. Before one could even blink, Anna was in pursuit. The other X-Men ran after her. Stryker turned down an alley.
By the time the other six caught up with her, Anna was crouched down. Just ahead of her was Stryker, lying on the ground, writhing. His face displayed utter agony and it was grey. Anna's glove was off, and her hand was pressed to his belly. Scott and Raven rushed over to her and tried to pull her away. Raven grabbed her by the shoulders and Scott by the wrist. Big mistake. He toppled over backward and a red laser shot from Anna's eyes. "Close your eyes Anna." He grunted from the floor. The laser stopped and Jean, who's eyes were no longer gold, raced over to Scott and hauled him up. When Raven had gotten Anna away from Stryker, it was too late. Stryker was dead. They had failed.
Anna's eyes remained clenched tight, but her face was stricken with grief. "I didn't mean to kill him," She sobbed, "I just wanted him to feel pain for everything he brought on us. On Warren." Scott hung his head low. "Yeah, I know." He sighed.

"How in God's name are we going to get home?" Jean asked.

"How do you think? With me. You don't know how many rules you've broken in the past twenty days…" A voice said behind them. Scott turned. At the entrance of the alley stood Professor Logan, a mean look on his face.
