Chapter 20: All For One Rises
Deku's P.O.V
Shigakari escaped.
"Take care of the trash," he said, "I've got stuff to do."
Some crooks came at us.
"No choice then," I said.
I summoned 2 clones and they helped me fight them off.
Ochako started using her quirk on the thugs.
Somehow she had more control over it.
"Whoa," she said.
"Ochako that was amazing!" I said.
Momo created a sword and shield to help Todoroki.
"You're quite creative," he said making her blush.
Starla was using her illusion tech to fight off thugs.
One of the illusions was projected onto a cloaked drone for extra punch.
She was also out of sight, literally.
One of the drones she has makes her vanish from sight.
One thug was gonna use his quirk on me but Aizawa stopped him in his tracks.
"You still leave yourself open sometimes Midoriya," he stated, "Try to work on that."
"Yes sir," I said.
I jumped back into action.
One of the thugs caught Starla in a bearhold.
"No more of your fancy tricks this time!"
She struggled to get away.
"Excuse me?" Bakugo said.
He punched the thug hard making him lose his grip.
"Why thank you," she said.
"Anytime."
Nomus started to appear out of nowhere.
One of them tried to take Ochako but I pulled her away in time.
I then shot it with a Westerville Blast.
"We've faced these creeps before," Bakugo said, "Let's give em HELL!"
He blew one of them up.
Despite the overwhelming odds, we stuck together to get the job done.
Ochako and I teamed up and used our team move against most of them.
Suddenly an energy blast was shot.
It was All For One.
"So you finally decided to show yourselves?" He asked, "I'm glad to have you join me."
I got in front of Ochako.
"I don't know what you're planning, but its not gonna work," I said, "The authorities know where your army is, and what your Nomus are made of."
All For One chuckled.
"That matters not."
Bakugo faced him.
"Time to make you pay for what you almost did," he said.
He charged at All For One and found himself being paused.
He was then forced back.
"Bakugo!" Starla said rushing to him.
"Just what is he?" Momo asked.
"I am the future of evil, the end of heroes," All For One said, "The age of champions will end HERE!"
He lunged at each of us with a devastating attack.
His power was beyond anything we've faced.
I got back up and helped the others.
"Ochako?"
I heard a scream.
All For One had her in his grasp.
"Its very rude to infiltrate someone's house without permission," he said, "I think its time I taught you a lesson."
His hand was on her neck nearly crushing it.
She screamed in pain.
"Let her go!" I said.
My body was glowing and my eyes were filled with rage.
"Ah ah ah," he said, "You get anywhere close and I break her."
I stood down.
"Good," he said.
He then threw her down and I jumped up to catch her.
"Are you ok?" I asked.
"I'm fine," she told me.
While we were distracted a nomu substance made its way to Bakugo.
I looked to see but I was too late.
"Bakugo no!" I said.
"Bakugo yes," he said.
Bakugo looked at us and was blinded by the Nomu's view.
"Destroy them!"
The nomu roared and dashed at us.
We made a run for it as he chased us.
The Nomu jumped in front of us.
"I don't wanna fight you Bakugo," I said.
I got into a fighting stance.
"But I will if I must."
I jumped at him with a kick.
"Run Ochako!"
She started to run.
All For One watched.
"Let her go," he said, "Midoriya is our primary target."
The Nomu was strong.
Twice as strong now that it had Bakugo in its grip.
Ochako made it somewhere safe.
"Deku's in danger," she said, "I can't just leave him…."
She grabbed something and made it weightless.
The nomu came at me again and I kept dodging it.
"I can't keep up the defense forever!" I said.
It was about to jump again but somebody hit it.
It was Ochako.
"If you fight, I fight too!" She said, "I won't let you do things on your own anymore."
She went by my side.
"Besides, its time I save you for a change."
I realized she was right.
We worked together fighting off the Nomu, but no matter what we did it always countered back.
I shot an aura blast and it countered with an explosion.
"What the…."
The nomu then knocked me out of the way and grabbed Ochako.
It pinned her down and threw her around like a rag doll.
"Ochako!" I said.
I went to her aid but the Nomu pulled me back down and pinned me to a wall.
I looked at the Nomu in the eye.
"Nomus can't be beat in hand to hand combat," I said, "But they can be beat with faith…"
The nomo started to look at me.
"Don't let the nomu change who you are," I said, "I know who you are. You are Katsuki Bakugo….."
He kept looking at me.
It started to remember everything we've been through, from our first day in class to the sports fest.
The substance started to disappear and Bakugo became himself again.
"What happened?" He asked.
"Nothing we couldn't handle together," I said smiling.
Kaminari and the others took this opportunity to swoop down and get him out of the battlefield.
They made it somewhere safe away from All For One.
"Rescue mission accomplished!" Kirishima said.
"Good, now get outta there quickly," Aizawa said.
I rushed over to Ochako who was still doing ok despite what happened.
"Ochako, please," I said, "Say something!"
"Something," she said.
I was relieved and then I kissed her.
"You really held your own out there," I said smiling.
She playfully punched my shoulder.
All For One was looking at us.
"I believe we had a fight going on."
I glared at him.
"Oh you've got a fight alright," I said.
I turned to Uraraka as she held my hand.
"You have to get to safety," I said, "Leave this bastard to me."
"Good luck….. Izuku," she said before letting go, "I love you."
She rushed to safety.
I suddenly had another vision of another semi-quirk.
It was of a past user having bigger muscles and stronger attacks.
Suddenly my muscles begun to grow a bit.
My body was also glowing with aura.
I thought I could use this.
"Its you and me," I said with a grin.
