Washington
White House
Ben and the Children of Liberty are assembled by President Baker as he confers on his behalf of inducing his words.
"You've done well Ben", Baker compliments. Ben was bewildered at what he meant. "Thanks to your contribution. Having your team as my primary assets, along with the combined assets of the D.E.O. and my USA forces, although they proved volatile, they still put up the effort. But you did".
"It is my cordial regards Mr. President. Though I fail to understand what made you think this fight is over?"
Baker started chuckling at Ben's question, to which Ben took it as a lighter way of reacting. "You didn't watch the news Ben. Those aliens are dead, the people Supergirl and her local friends tried to protect from us", said Baker. Ben was still confused. Latter knows Supergirl has powers of greater strength valued to lift anything heavy. Except if that wasn't the case.
Baker had taken Ben Lockwood to a different section, leaving the Children of Liberty behind in his office. The President showcases Lockwood before him a square-sized TV that enchants, giving prominence of a recent news of a particular site in National City. The same site that is stacked over one another, similar to a pyramid.
"So that's where they're hideout was this whole time?", Ben questions.
"Verily certain it is", Baker reckons with such confidence, after already seeing on the displayed tab that counted around five hundred thousand of Inhumans had been killed. That wasn't the only thing that was showed from news; as of now, they set forth another set of reports on more aliens had been killed, which estimated 1.5 million to be deceased by a number of falling buildings, they inhabited, to fall over them. "Don't believe this is your doing?".
"No Mr. President. That's preposterous. I'd never cause a building to collapse", Ben shot back, considering himself to be innocent.
"Well we're lucky none of our Americans had been killed in that accident. It would be considered tragedy to bear wi-". Suddenly Baker is cut off when the two witnessed a breaking hole given rise from one spotted point on wall, where it's now showed as a big hole, contacted from the outside.
Upon their awakening, Ben and the President see in front of them four people in what looks as though they are stylised in costumes, in which they're not.
"Of course; the Elite", Baker exclaims, with a calm tone.
"Good midday President. Thought we'd like to step here. You know; have a little chat", said Manchester.
Soon serviced men with armed guns jumped into their field, running along to form a border line, defending their leader. To the point in which the President raised his hand, signalling them to stand down and leave, which they complied. The gunned men lowered their weapons, immediately departing from the room.
As all eyes were focally pointed on men, they don't necessarily need, to leave, they're eyes are connected together.
"I presume you're the one who took their lives? Took ever alien we intend to kill, down on their dying breathe?", Baker questions.
"If we hadn't, your attention wouldn't be focused on us", Manchester deemed.
"What do you want from us?", Ben questions.
Manchester, alongside his Elite team, redirected their eyes onto Ben, whom seemed terrified at their presence. Especially as an intact group. Their nerve-racking eyes is what gives Ben a smack of fear.
"Revenge Lockwood. For what you did", Manchester declared, with pique of physique.
"Now how about we all settle this in as proper gentlemen; come to an agreement instead of fighting amongst ourselves", Baker offered.
"We didn't kill those aliens just to satisfy you, or get you to assimilate us into your legion", said the Hat.
"We want Ben Lockwood", Manchester announces.
Subsequently, the Elite team are instantly flashed, disappeared into thin air. Baker and Lockwood were confused by this case. They weren't the only ones to be transported as they too were also taken away, right after the same men, that attempted to defend Baker from the Elite, arrived, only to witness their President and Ben Lockwood engulfed in a thin veiled light.
