Chapter 18
Barnabas, Julia, Liz, and Elliott arrived in New York by 130p and there was a limo waiting for them. They were taken to the Manhattan Hilton where the medical director had reserved the double wedding suite on the top of the hotel. It was beautiful. They checked in then were taken to lunch at one of the nicest restaurants in Manhattan. After a lovely lunch, 2the medical director said to be ready by 7p to go to dinner at the supper club. They got back to the hotel around 4p. They each had a nice bedroom and then there was a joint living room with plenty of champagne and snacks. Each room had a luxurious bathroom with a large sauna tub. The bed in each room was a king-size bed with a big TV.
Barnabas said, "Julia this is beautiful! How are you feeling sweetie? Do you want to rest for a few? Julia said, "Yes, I could rest for an hour or so." Then they went into the living room area where Elliott and Liz were just in awe of the beautiful suite. Liz said, "Julia how are you feeling?" Julia said "I am fine Liz just a little tired. I think I will rest for an hour or so then get ready to go. Liz said she will do the same. Liz went into their room and Julia went into their room. Elliott and Barnabas sat up and talked for a while in the living room. Julia unpacked her dress for this evening and got all that ready, then she laid down for an hour or so. About 545p Barnabas woke up Julia. "Hey Honey." Julia woke up and said, "What time is it?" "Its 545 hon. How are you feeling?" Julia got up and hugged and kissed Barnabas. "I am okay Barnabas. Do we need to start getting ready?" Barnabas said, Yes sweetie. We can start at about 6p." He kissed and hugged Julia. "We are going to have a good time tonight. I am thinking this is a nice place we are going." Julia smiled happily "Yes I think we will have a nice time Barnabas. Want to feel the babies?" Barnabas put his hand on Julia's lower stomach and felt the babies thumping. It was so cute. Barnabas' eyes lit up. He put his head there for a minute. Julia was just smiling while Barnabas put his head on her stomach. "Julia that is so neat. I think they are saying "mommy we want to eat." "Julia do you need a snack?" There are some snacks out there." Julia said, "No. I will be fine until we get where we are going. Some water or something would be good. We need to start getting ready also." So they got their stuff ready and took a shower together and got dressed. They went out to the living room area and Elliott and Liz were ready also. They both looked great and Liz and Julia were the two most beautiful. Elliott and Barnabas just beamed at the two ladies they love the most. Liz and Julia were beautiful with their lovely dresses.
The limo picked them up and took them to the Manhattan supper club on the upper east side. The medical director and his wife welcomed them and all the medical directors and their wives were there. Once seated they were introduced to everyone and the medical director told the people at the club that Barnabas, Julia and Liz, and Elliott had just got married. So the maître D of the club announced that they had just got married. Everybody stood up and clapped for them and sent them drinks. It was so nice. Of course, Julia and Liz were tearing up a bit. It was a nice evening. They had a wonderful dinner and people were dancing, eating, drinking and having a wonderful time. The medical director asked Elliott what was a song he liked and he said, "I'm So Proud" by Main Ingredient. When the song came on everybody got their partner and danced to I'm So Proud. It was so nice. Everybody was tearing up dancing to the song. Barnabas and Julia were singing it to each other. Then while they were dancing, Julia whispered in Barnabas' ear "I want to kiss you and love you all over." Barnabas started giggling like a schoolboy and kissed her. The rest of the night was fun-filled and so nice.
They got back to the hotel about 1130p, feeling great, full, happy. The limo driver told them to be ready by 11a tomorrow to go to the Manhattan Spa center, for massages, etc. After that, they would go to lunch, come back to the hotel and rest, and be ready at 7p to be taken to dinner on Tavern on the Green.
Everyone agreed to be down to breakfast at 9a. Barnabas said as they went into the bedroom. "Julia I know you're tired. We had a good time didn't we?" Julia said happily, "yes we did Barnabas. That was so nice of him to think of us this way." Barnabas said, "Yes and I got to be with the most beautiful woman in the world." They took a quick shower then got into bed and made mad love. Julia just loves Barnabas and she shows him all the time and Barnabas is in heaven with Julia and how they made each other feel. Julia woke up first around 7a. She got the little coffee and teapot out and made some coffee and tea, then got back in bed. Barnabas was stirring. Julia kissed him on the cheek. He woke up. "Good morning lovely Julia." "Good morning Daddy." They hugged and kissed each other. "How are you feeling Julia?" "I am feeling good Barnabas" as she kissed him. They got their morning delight on and the second time they woke up, they got dressed and met Liz and Elliott for breakfast. "Good morning Liz and Elliott," said Barnabas and Julia. "Did you guys have a ball last night and did you get some rest?" Liz said, "Oh it was so nice, we had a wonderful time." Elliott said, "It was a most enjoyable evening and I was happy to have my sweetie dancing with me." Liz just blushed as Elliott reached over and kissed her on the cheek. "Barnabas said, "I am ready for a massage and some spa treatments." Everybody started laughing. Julia said, "you will feel really good after this Barnabas." Barnabas was so excited. "Okay!" Barnabas said. After breakfast, they went back to the suite and gathered their clothes and personal items to take to the spa. The limo took them to the Spa Mandarin Oriental Spa. The Mandarin oriental spa is one of New York's most luxurious a well-appointed 35th-floor space will floor to ceiling windows serves as the setting for treatments. The limo will pick them up at 2p and take to lunch. Once they checked in, Liz and Julia went to the women's side and Elliott and Barnabas went to the men's side and they would meet at 2p in the lobby.
What a treat it was for all. Liz and Julia got serious massages. Since Julia was pregnant, they had her lean to the side so as not to be flat on her stomach. They a lean-too that she laid on which was very comfortable.
After a wonderful massage and body scrub, they got facials, mani, and Pedi, and sat in the sauna, it was wonderful! After they were done around 130p, the massage people gave Julia and Liz some tea and crackers for Julia and some other snacks before they got dressed to meet the guys at 2p.
Barnabas and Elliott were having their experience. The massage people massaged Barnabas and Elliott so good, they didn't know what to do. They experienced the same treatment except for the men's point of view. They loved it! Barnabas made a mental note that he and Julia will go to the spa in their neighborhood at least once a month to get massages and all. They loved it.
Everybody met at 2p. Barnabas and Elliott just beamed at Liz and Julia. They were so pretty and they looked great because each of them knew how to style. Hit them up style! Julia had on a ribbed sweater dress which accentuated her figure and showed her baby bump. Liz had a nice pants suit. Barnabas hugged Julia and said, "Julia, I loved the massage!" Elliott and Liz started laughing and so did Julia. 'Nice Barnabas!" Julia said hugging him. Elliott said, "Liz I hope your massage was as good as mine. You look beautiful" and kissed her on the cheek. Liz just blushed to smile and to hug Elliott. It was so cute.
The limo picked them up and took them to another nice restaurant that sat on the Hudson. They had a wonderful lunch. The limo picked them up at 4p and took them back to the hotel, then said they will come back at 7p to take them to Tavern on the Green for dinner.
Once inside the suite they all sat down in the living room and relaxed for a bit. Julia was feeling good, but she could always use a nap. Elliott and Liz retreated to their room and would be ready by 7. Julia and Barnabas went to their room and relaxed as well. They laid together on the bed and cuddled and talked about their massages. Barnabas hugged and kissed Julia. "Julia you and Liz are the prettiest women in the world. How did they do you for the massage? Julia kissed Barnabas so sweetly. "They had me lay not quite on my stomach and they did a great job while cognizant of my stomach. Then we got a body scrub, facials, sat in the sauna, mani, and Pedi rested and had some tea and crackers for me. It was great Barnabas!" Barnabas said, "Julia Elliott and I got massages from hell. The guy was beating us to death and we were screaming. I feel great! We also had body scrubs, facials if we wanted, and sat in the sauna. I love that Julia! Then we chilled out also for a bit before we showered and got dressed. It was such a great experience, Julia!" Julia just hugged and kissed Barnabas. He was just like a big kid. Then Barnabas said, "Julia how are you feeling with the babies. Are they thumping you?" Julia smiled and said, "Not right now Barnabas. They must be sleep and must be relaxed like we are now." Barnabas put his head on Julia's stomach and said, "Daddy's here babies." Julia just smiling at Barnabas. He was so sweet. He gonna be a good daddy too. He is gonna help with the babies. They laid together and caught a quick nap since they were so relaxed.
The limo picked them up at 7p and took them over to Tavern on the Green for dinner and dancing to the live jazz quartet. Tavern on the Green is an exclusive restaurant in Central Park not far from the hotel. The food was delicious and they all had a wonderful time eating, drinking and dancing to live music. It was also announced that they just got married. All the people gave them a standing ovation and bought them so many drinks they could not drink them all! While the band took a break the Maitre D asked Barnabas what song he would like and he said, "My Love" by Lionel Ritchie. Barnabas sang this to Julia.

Julia was just letting the tears flow while Barnabas was singing to her. It was quite fitting for the situation. Everyone loved it and everyone clapped to them when it was over. It was a beautiful night! They got back to the hotel around 1130a. Tomorrow they will do the Statue of Liberty, empire state building, and dinner cruise on the Hudson. They all had a wonderful day today and a wonderful nite. Barnabas and Julia sat in the sauna for a few, then showered and went to bed and had a wonderful night's sleep. The next morning they met for breakfast then caught the Staten Island Ferry over to the statue of liberty, empire state building walked down around Canal Street and dinner on the cruise ship up the Hudson. Elliott and Liz appreciated going up into her head. They had the best time!
Elliott and Liz had such a good time. They loved it! They got back to the hotel around 10p.
Tomorrow was their last day so they discussed what they wanted to do. They decided they would spend the day in the Soho area of NYC. Soho is a wonderful part of New York with everything to see and do. After breakfast, they put their walking shoes on and their comfortable leisure outfits and headed over to the Soho district. They enjoyed the whole area, first stopping at the brunch, then visiting the art area and museum, checked out the book area to see all kinds of books and things. Elliott liked that. While he and Barnabas checked out the books store, Liz and Julia went down on Prince Street so Julia and Liz could check out some shopping, then they had a late lunch, they caught a movie at one of the movie theaters, then had dinner and drinks downtown. It was a wonderful day for them and a great way to end their short honeymoon. Once back at the hotel around 10p, they sat in the living room and discussed the great time they had here. Julia did very well also. They all agreed they would come to NY for just a weekend to get away and hang out in the city! They all said good night and will see each other tomorrow at breakfast. Their flight leaves at 12p so they would check out at 10 and head over to the airport.
Barnabas and Julia cleaned out the tub and got in and turned the jets on. It was so relaxing and romantic. Julia said, "Mr. Collins how did you like our 4 days honeymoon?" Barnabas was so happy, he shed a tear. "Mrs. Collins, this has been the best time of my life and I enjoyed the movie!" Julia kissed him on his cheek and said, "I love you, Barnabas. You are my big baby. I got three babies now." I had a wonderful time and the babies enjoyed this as well. I am going to be the best wife for you, Barnabas. Barnabas, do you remember when you went to 1795 to help Vicki and Jeff? Willie and I were so happy to get to the crypt with the chains on and there you were. We were so glad to see you back with us." Barnabas wanted to cry now because Julia and Willie took care of him so many times. "Julia I was so grateful to you and Willie. I don't know what I would do without either of you. I am going to be the best daddie for our little ones. I love you, Julia." Julia said, "Barnabas know what Willie and I said? Daddy's home!" Barnabas took Julia in his arms and kissed her and loved her. They loved each other and then soaked for a while. Then they got in the shower, washed up and got into bed, and had a wonderful sleep.
The next morning they all met for breakfast, checked out of the hotel, and headed to the airport. Once they got home, they caught a cab to the house. They all went out for lunch at one of the restaurants on the water, then came home. Elliott and Liz said goodbye and settled in as did Barnabas and Julia. It was a wonderful time they had and they unpacked and got comfy. Julia took a nap while Barnabas cooked some spaghetti and salad for dinner.
Julia had to go to work the next day so they ate dinner and then relaxed and watched TV and love on each other. The babies were kicking Julia, so Barnabas was in awe. He put his hand on Julia's lower tummy to feel the babies. He put his head on her stomach to feel them kicking his face. He would cry for a few always after feeling the babies. They had such fun together and hated to be away from each other. The next day Julia in tears said goodbye to Barnabas she headed to Wyncliffe. Barnabas will come by on Friday which is only 4 days away.
