Chapter 16: Pre-Fight Doughnut (Num-nums)
Later that night, the TMNS, Leatherhead and Ash & co. arrived to the construction sight. Casey Jones and Iris didn't come this time. Michelangelo was carrying a box labeled, "Simple Donuts". For they had hid the anti-mutagen cubes in the doughnuts. The heroes began to look around for any sign of any Foot Ninjas waiting to ambush them. "Hey, is this gonna work?" asked Donatello. "Is, like, 'Schwarzenegger' hard to spell?" asked Michelangelo. "Come on," said Donatello. "Yeah," said Michelangelo. They arrived to the center of the construction site. "Pretty quiet," said Ash. "Yeah," said Nancy. "Pika," said Pikachu. "SHREDDER!" yelled Raphael suddenly. Everybody got startled by Raphael's yelling. "Thanks, Raph. I may never have the hiccups again," said Sonia.
Suddenly, floodlights turned on. The heroes got into battle poses as Foot Ninjas began to surround the place. The Shredder, Tatsu and Baxter Stockman arrived. "Welcome," said the Shredder. "Whoa, all we need now is wide world of sports and a blimp," said Michelangelo. "Yeah," said the other heroes. "How ironic. The very thing that was your making will now be your undoing," said Baxter as he held out the stolen mutagen. Everybody gasped. "Tokka. Rahzar. Let the games begin," said the Shredder. All the Foot Ninjas began to cheer and yell. "What?" asked the heroes as they looked around for any sign of their two mutant foes. Then, some doors burst open and Tokka and Rahzar entered the construction site. The heroes began to walk back slowly as Tokka and Rahzar advanced toward then. Pikachu's cheeks began to spark. "What? Oh," said Michelangelo as he remembered the box of doughnuts. He turned to Leonardo. "Leo, come on, come on. Go, go, go," said Michelangelo. "Okay," said Leonardo.
"Wait! Wait!" cried Leonardo. Tokka and Rahzar stopped advancing toward the heroes. "First, we should observe the ancient ritual . . . of the, uh, traditional pre-fight doughnut," said Leonardo. "Yeah," said the other heroes. "Pre-fight doughnut?" asked the Foot Ninjas. "What is that?" asked a Foot Ninja. "What?" asked another Foot Ninja. They began to gossip about this new development. Michelangelo chuckled, pointing to Tokka and Rahzar. "Ooh," said Rahzar. "Why did I let you talk me into this?" asked Leonardo. "Give it a chance," said Michelangelo. Leonardo and Michelangelo began to carefully walk toward Tokka and Rahzar. "Come on," said Michelangelo. "Hi, guys," said Leonardo. "It's not gonna work," said Raphael. "Yes, it is. They'll eat anything," said Donatello. "I hope you're right," said Ash quietly. "Pikachu," said Pikachu. "Shh. They'll hear," said Sonia.
Michelangelo opened the box of doughnuts. "Mmm. Num-nums," said Michelangelo. "Oh, yes. Mmm, num-nums," said Leonardo. "Yeah," said Rahzar as he drooled at the sight of the delicious doughnuts. "Mmm. Nummers," said Michelangelo. Rahzar then grabbed a doughnut. "Yeah. Good boy. A little drooly," said Michelangelo. Rahzar then began to devour the doughnut. "Yeah, yeah, yeah," said Michelangelo. "Yeah. Good boy," said Leonardo. "Yeah, yeah," said Michelangelo. "Num-num!" said Tokka. "Oh, yeah, right. Right," said Leonardo. "Go on," said Michelangelo. "Here you go," said Leonardo, handing Tokka a doughnut. "Yeah, in your mouth," said Leonardo as Tokka began to eat it. "Wolf it down. Scarf it," said Michelangelo. He turned back to Rahzar. "Have another. Yeah. Eat it," said Michelangelo. "Eat it. It'll be great. Eat it," said Leonardo as Rahzar grabbed another doughnut. "Yeah," said Michelangelo.
Rahzar look at the doughnut and growled in confusion. "What . . . ?" asked Michelangelo. Suddenly, Rahzar crushed the doughnut to pieces, revealing one of the anti-mutagen cubes. "Hey," said Rahzar. "Uh-oh," said Leonardo and Michelangelo. "No, they found the cubes," said Donatello. Man. I told you it wasn't gonna work," said Raphael. "Get them," said the Shredder. Tokka and Rahzar resumed their attack on the heroes. "It was him. I never touched it," said Leonardo. Rahzar began to chase after Michelangelo. "No, wait. Can't we talk this out?" asked Michelangelo. Rahzar swatted aside the box of doughnuts. "No, wait. Wait. Whoa," said Michelangelo. Rahzar grabbed Michelangelo by the hands and began to spin him around. "Major spin cycle," cried Michelangelo. Rahzar laughed as he spun Michelangelo. Michelangelo screamed as he was getting spun around.
Tokka threw Leonardo into Donatello and Raphael and all three Squirtles fell down. "We gotta help them!" said Leatherhead. Ash & co. and Leatherhead were about to run to help the TMNS when some M.O.U.S.E.R.S. stood in their way. "Not so fast, my friends," said Baxter. The M.O.U.S.E.R.S. began to charge at Ash & co. and Leatherhead. "Pikachu, Thunderbolt attack!" said Ash. "Plusle, Electro Ball!" said Solana. "Pikachuuuuuuu!" said Pikachu as he fired his attack at the M.O.U.S.E.R.S. The attack overload the robots until they exploded. Plusle fired a ball of electrical energy, which hit some of the M.O.U.S.E.R.S., blowing them to pieces. Then, several more of them appeared. Leatherhead swung his arms, which smashed the M.O.U.S.E.R.S. to pieces. Zoroark fired some Dark Pulse attacks to destroy some of them too.
"Mikey?" asked Leonardo. "Maybe I should've brought bagels!" cried Michelangelo as Rahzar threw him. He crashed into the door behind his brothers, knocking it down. "Now I know what a postal package feels like," said Michelangelo as he staggered to his feet. "Hey, Mikey, you okay," asked Donatello. "Yeah," said Michelangelo. Ash & co. and Leatherhead managed to destroy most of the M.O.U.S.E.R.S. and meet up with the TMNS.
(Insert "Dynamax Pokémon Battle" from Pokémon)
"Now Baxter!" cried Shredder. "You got it!" said Baxter. Baxter took out the Dynamax Band once again along with a Poké Ball. Sonia gasped when she saw the glowing band. "That's definitely a Dynamax Band!" cried Sonia. Baxter then returned Tokka to the Poké Ball. The Poké Ball that Baxter returned Tokka became large once and was glowing with Dynamax energy. He then threw it into the air and Tokka was released. It then grew into its Gigantamax form. In its Gigantamax form, Tokka's horn resembled a tank. Its tail was now longer and had more spikes, and now had three yellow spikes coming off each leg. His plastron had three protrusions, with the middle being the longest. His head was hidden inside of its body, and his eyes glowed red. Red clouds spun around it. Tokka let out a mighty roar. Michelangelo let out a girly scream at the sight of how huge Tokka was now. "Ladies and gentlemen! May I present . . . Tokka's Gigantamax form!" said Baxter. And he let out a maniacal laugh.
Ash took out four Poké Balls. "Sceptile, Primeape, Aagron, Torterra, go!" cried Ash. He threw the balls and the four Pokémon were summoned. Sceptile was a reptilian, bipedal Pokémon. Its was green and its neck was somewhat long, and it had two crests on its head. It had semicircular, yellow eyes with red rims. Its lower jaw and a belt-like band across its waist were also red. Along its back, it had two lines running down the middle and two rows of yellow nodules that were described as seeds. Its tail was shaped similar to that of a palm tree's branch. Both of its long arms have two sharp, elongated leaves and three claws. These leaves allowed it to use its Leaf Blade attack. Primeape was a bipedal, simian Pokémon with a round body covered in whitish, shaggy fur. There was usually a throbbing vein on the left side of its forehead, and it had triangular ears with pink insides, narrow eyes with tiny pupils, and a pink, snout-like nose. Its arms and legs were brown and have metal shackles on the wrists and ankles. This was probably indicative of a method of training with weights. The hands had no visible fingers, instead resembling mittens or boxing gloves, and the feet had two toes.
Aagron was a huge, bipedal Pokémon. It was primarily black with plates of silver-colored armor. The armor on its head had two pairs of holes with horns protruding from the foremost holes. Its forehead plating extended past its upper jaw in a small point. It had sky-blue eyes, and two nostril-like holes on the tip of its upper jaw. On the rim of its mouth were several pointed, fang-like protrusions and the nape of its neck and back had gray-silver armor sections. It had wide, blunt spikes on its shoulders, and gray-silver bands on its arms and legs. Its hands and feet each had three claws. It had a thick, long, black tail that it can swing at enemies. Torterra was a bulky quadruped Pokémon resembling a tortoise, with a large shell covering its back. There was a single, oak-like tree and three triangular, stony extensions resembling mountain peaks on the top of the shell. There was a patch of brown, resembling soil, next to the tree. A white rim surrounded the shell, and formed a diamond-shaped continuation on the front. Torterra's body appeared sectioned, with the upper half being green and the lower half brown. Its mouth was jagged and at the end of its snout is a dark brown beak, giving it the appearance of a snapping turtle. Its lower jaw was green and there are two large spikes protruding from its cheeks. Torterra's small, red eyes were encircled by a black ring. Its legs were thick and they have four toes each, which appear as if they were actually jagged stones. There were three toes on the front and one on the heel.
"Don't think type advantage will allow you to win this battle!" sneered Baxter. "We'll see about that!" said Ash. Aagron fired a flurry of Gyro Balls, while Grovyle spat Bullet Seeds. Torterra fired some Energy Balls and Primeape actually used Thunderbolt. The projectile attacks pelted Tokka, doing some damage. Tokka roared in fury and slammed its forelegs into the ground, creating a shockwave that travels towards the heroes. When the shockwave reached the opponent, a strong wave of water burst out of the ground from underneath them. This attack scattered the heroes in different directions. "That was G-Max Stonesurge!" cried Sonia. Sonia and Yamper then went to find the source of the fake power spot.
The two searched until they found a machine that was glowing with red energy underneath the floor that the fight was taking place. "That must be it, Yamper," said Sonia. Yamper barked. "We must destroy it," said Sonia. The two were about to approach the machine when some M.O.U.S.E.R.S. stood in front of the artificial Power Spot. "They're not making this easy, aren't they? Yamper, use Spark!" said Sonia. Sparks of electricity surrounded Yamper's body. It then became covered in yellow electricity and tackled some of the M.O.U.S.E.R.S., destroying them. Sonia grabbed a nearby sledgehammer and joined in one the fight. The young lab assistant smashed some of the M.O.U.S.E.R.S.
Just then, a device that Baxter was wearing on his wrist started to beep. It was apparently an alarm to let him know if somebody is trying to destroy the artificial Power Spot. "Somebody is trying to take out the artificial Power Spot machine. I got to take care of the intruders," said Baxter. Baxter then went down to where the Power Spot machine was. Gigantamax Tokka fired a G-Max Foam Burst, soaking everybody in the area. Some unlucky Foot Soldiers got soaked too for not getting out of the way in time.
Sonia and Yamper managed to destroy the M.O.U.S.E.R. "Well, well, well. So you're the pests that are trying to destroy the Power Spot machine," said Baxter. "So you're Baxter Stockman," said Sonia. "I see my reputation proceeds me. But I'm afraid you two won't be going anywhere," said Baxter. He pressed a button on a remote and a giant M.O.U.S.E.R. lumbered into the area. The larger robot began to fire its machine guns at Sonia and Yamper. The two barely dodged the gunfire from the robot. "Yamper, Thunderbolt!" said Sonia. Yamper fired electricity at the big M.O.U.S.E.R., but it didn't do much damage on it.
Suddenly, the Giant M.O.U.S.E.R. fired a pair of missiles at Yamper. Yamper used its speed to dodge the missiles. But the missiles started to turn around. For they were heat seeking missiles. Yamper began to run to try to outrun the missiles, but they were still chasing it. Just then, it saw the Power Spot Machine and got an idea. Yamper ran toward the machine and stood in front of it and Baxter. As the missiles were coming closer, Yamper made its move. It ran from the Power Spot machine. Baxter's eyes widened in horror. "Hold your fire!" cried Baxter. But it was too late. The missiles hit the machine and it exploded. Baxter screamed as he was caught in the explosion. With the Power Spot machine destroyed, Tokka lost its ability to maintain its Gigantamax form. "What?!" asked the Shredder. "Yeah!" said the heroes.
The smoke from the explosion of the Power Spot machine cleared up, showing Baxter Stockman was barbecued by the explosion. He glared at the Giant M.O.U.S.E.R., causing it to sweat in embarrassment. Suddenly, a large piece of the Power Spot machine fell on top of the Giant M.O.U.S.E.R., crushing it to pieces. Suddenly, Shredder began to communicate with Baxter via a communicator. "Baxter, what's going on?! Why has Tokka reverted back to normal when three minutes haven't even passed?!" asked the Shredder. "Bad news. The Power Spot Machine's been destroyed by some meddling rats!" said Baxter. "You imbecile! I'll deal with you later!" said the Shredder.
"Not so tough when you're small now!" said Ash. Tokka responded by firing a Water Gun attack, which the heroes dodged. "You take the ugly one," said Leonardo. "No, you take the ugly one," said Raphael. "I'll take the ugly one," said Donatello. "Which one's the ugly one?" asked Michelangelo. "They're both equally ugly!" said Hilda. Tokka and Rahzar began to chase after the heroes. Ash returned the Pokémon he sent out earlier to their Poké Balls. They ran past a wall that read "Dockshore Club". "Clear the way!" the heroes cried.
Now you know how Baxter was able to make Tokka Gigantamax. I figured three minutes would be the time limit for Dynamax or Gigantamax for my stories since the forms last three turns in the game. As you saw, Ash not just has his Primeape again, but also has an Aagron. How Ash got Aagron will be explained in a later story. Next chapter, the fight at the night club . . .
