Chapter 19
666 News Station
"Well, that covers our side stories for tonight," Katie Killjoy said. "Now, Tom, what is this special surprise you had organized for me?"
"Well, Katie, it is none other than Trevor Williams," Tom Trench answered, "the brother of the Wendigo, and the date of Charlotte Magne's former girlfriend."
Katie almost panicked big-time, but she kept her smile plastered on her face. However, everyone could still sense her unease.
Trevor then walked in, using his spider-limbs to walk instead of his legs, which hung down from his body. His arms remained behind his back, until he used one of them to pull a chair back. He sat down next to Katie Killjoy.
His face remained perfectly neutral, but one could see the sadistic glee in his eyes. He could see Katie's unease, and it pleased him very much.
"Well, it's good to have you here, Trevor," Tom said, also reveling in Katie's discomfort.
"Good to be here," the shapeshifter replied. "And how are you today, Katie? I didn't hurt you too much, did I?"
Katie's smile almost broke, but she kept it up to put on some sort of facade. One could still see the growing unease in her eyes.
"Seems you have a history with dear Katie," Tom noted.
"We had a night together," Trevor replied. "It was... rather rough, but I enjoyed myself."
"Was this before or after you started going out with Vaggie Rodriquez?"
"Before. I couldn't do such a thing to my precious lily."
Katie had to say something, do something, but if she did, she ran the risk of exposing her guilt to everyone. She could potentially ruin her reputation.
"Aren't you worried that having a one-night stand with our beloved Katie could ruin your reputation?" Tom asked.
Trevor thought long and hard about this question. He grinned politely as his answer came to fruition.
"My conscience is clear, Tom," he said. "It doesn't matter if I went out with Katie or not. What matters is that I put all my resources towards Vaggie, and care for her like she is a part of me."
A few isolated 'aw's were heard from the audience.
"Very admirable, Mr. Williams," Tom noted. "Thank you for being with us tonight. Give your girl our love."
"Will do." Trevor stood up from his chair, and his mouth lingered next to Katie's ear for a moment as he did. "I still want my shirt back, Kate."
With that, he left as he came, scuttling away on his spidery limbs.
"Well, that's all for tonight, ladies and gents!" Tom announced. "Stay safe, or not! We really don't care, either way!"
With the interview over, Katie went straight to her dressing room. She was extremely angry at the entire thing, mostly Trevor for having the gall to come onto her set.
She noticed a bit of cloth peeking out from inside a drawer. She opened the drawer and found a black shirt. She looked at the tag, and saw that it belonged to one man.
"Trevor."
Hazbin Hotel
"Splendid performance!" Alastor applauded when Trevor stepped inside the Hotel. "I almost thought Miss Killjoy was going to have a stroke!"
"Yeah, I don't think she liked having you there," Victor noted.
"Probably would be a hell lot worse if you were there in my place," Trevor replied.
"Too true, dear brother. Too true."
Trevor turned to Vaggie, who just stood there, staring at him.
"Was it too much?" he asked.
She responded by walking over to him and kissing him. Angel pretended to gag, to which Trevor responded with a middle finger.
"Well, that's good to hear," Trevor said when they pulled away. "Also, I'd like to ask you out on a date."
Vaggie was taken aback by this request. She didn't expect to go out on a date so soon.
"What time?" she asked.
"Five o' clock, tomorrow. Preferably in a comfortable, yet pretty dress."
"Just pretty?"
"Beautiful, at best, but pretty is acceptable."
Vaggie thought it over briefly, before responding,
"It's a date."
