"The final confrontation grows near, the Slayer must prepare or all will be lost to the Void. His Battle may be Eternel but he will lose everything if he is not ready to sacrifice the most treasured being in his life." - Greek Oracle

Sophia grimaced as another massive cannon blast shook the ground as she pushed against the coast that Anubis held, his forces not giving up. She had lost contact with Atlanta on the land front but it didn't matter right now, she had to get past the beach defenses that Anubis had set up. ATLAN mecha trudged forward, tanking a ton of energy fire with their shields as the Sentinel soldiers pushed up the beach. Sand erupted into the air from a gun somewhere in the city, Sophia grimaced and rushed forward, creating a shield of water around her to protect herself.

"Sir," One of the soldiers greeted her when she arrived at the wall, "We have the explosives in place, ready to blow when you give the signal."

"Do it!" She shouted, and the soldier nodded.

The wall exploded, dust and debris going sky high as the Sentinels pushed forward, Sophia following as she pulled out her spear. The Jackal soldiers were a lot tougher to take down as they had armor that dispersed the energy impact, allowing them to stay standing even though they got hit. It didn't help them when a Sentinel spear killed them, as one found out when Sophia thrusted her energy spearhead into the Jackal soldier's gut. She pulled out the spear, firing her pistol into several incoming jackals before ducking into a building as one of the Jackals set off nearly ten pounds of TNT a few blocks ahead of them.

The explosion tore up an ATLAN walker, leaving it useless as buildings collapsed on it. Sophia used her powers over water to map out the city before causing the most strategic of the water mains to erupt. The pressure some of the pipes were under was so great that it was like a massive bomb going off, buildings crumbling under the force exerted. Sophia grinned before rallying her soldiers to her and pushed deeper into the city, forcing the Jackal's to retreat further and further into their city.

"Keep the pressure on them!" Sophia yelled over the cacophony of weapons right and explosions, "We must take them out completely!"

Atlanta grimaced, that annoying klaxon was getting on her nerves. But it was only on for one reason and one reason only. The ship was going down.

"All personnel, evacuate to the nearest hangerbay or escape pod, Repeat, all personnel, evacuate to the nearest hangerbay or escape pod." A robotic voice said over the intercom, as soldiers, officers and other beings rushed to escape the falling ship.

She was busy leading Tiamat, who was carrying the passed out forms of Henry and Jason in her arms, towards the hanger bay that the Sentinels were escaping from. Well, until they got into a firefight between the enemy and the Sentinels. She pulled out her bow and fired on the black armored soldiers, motioning Tiamat to get over to the Sentinel controlled lines. Tiamat obeyed as she hurried and was pushed towards the hanger bay, a Sentinel taking Jason's limp form as Atlanta flicked her hand that sent a section of wall smashing into the floor, creating a barrier.

"MOVE!" She roared, as the Sentinels double-timed it towards the hanger bay.

She didn't turn back as they ran through the shadow gate, landing on the hillside before she closed it behind her. She looked up and watched in shock as the massive triangular ship tilted forward as its momentum kept it going forward. The ship flew forward and its nose would smash right into...the center of Anubis' capital.

"Get Sophia out of there!" She called to a sentinel, who tried to get her sister to pull back.

She couldn't help but watch as the massive ship started to speed up, as sections of the hull actually exploded from something inside of it going horribly wrong. Smoke billowed out of the hull, fires burned brightly against the setting sun as the ship hurled itself towards its own destruction. Within a few minutes, the nose connected with the city as the massive vessel tore up the streets and buildings around it. The nose of the structure finally caved in on itself, causing the rest of the metal behemoth to smash into the ground. The ground erupted into the earth from the impact, the vibrations could be felt for miles as the ship exploded.

The capital city was turned into a crater as molten metal reigned down from the sky, Atlanta couldn't help but smile at that as it was pretty beautiful in a very destructive fashion.

Sophia shook her head before looking up, only to find that a massive portion of the capital city was nothing more than a crater surrounded by the ruins of buildings. The ATLAN mechas had formed a protective barrier with their shields, saving them from the massive explosion. She gagged on something before someone slapped her on the back, allowing the object that had gotten caught to come free. She looked at the person that helped her and gasped.

"Guess you weren't expecting me, were you?" Aphrodite smiled weakly, looking quite worn out.

"N-no, I wasn't," Sophia said honestly, giving the former Olympian Goddess a once over, "Why are you here?"

Aphrodite stood up before motioning behind her, as more Sentinel soldiers and machines of war came out of the waves of the water. Sophia looked at them then back at Aphrodite, who smiled happily.

"I was born from the waters, my dear," Aphrodite giggled before putting her helmet on, which had a dove embossed on both sides of her helmet, "Besides, my troops are your reinforcements."

Sophia nodded, grateful for all the help she could get, "Guess you are a fighter as well as a looker?"

Aphrodite chuckled at Sophia's humor, "Of course, love is worth fighting for, is it not?"

"Sir," A Soldier spoke up, "Lady Atlanta wants a status update."

"Tell her that we're pushing for the next front, Anubis wasn't here but fell back to Ra's city. Also thank her for the massive ship exploding on our heads too." Sophia said before standing up, "All troops, we are pushing forward!"

The soldiers roared out and started moving as Aphrodite followed, heading towards the next target which would be Ra's city.

"Sir, we have confirmation that Sophia is alive," A Sentinel reported dutifully, "They are pushing for the next front. She also sends her regards in using the ship to nuke the capital city, Anubis wasn't there however."

Atlanta chuckled before nodding, "We move then to our position, have all troops head forth!"

"Yes Sir!"

The Slayer looked at the battle map before him as the reports came in, Jason was alive and they have Tiamat. He smiled to himself as another report came in from Atlanta herself saying that the darkness that had possessed Jason was now officially dead, killed by Tiamat.

"Anubis wasn't in the capital city, Sir," A Sentinel said, looking up at him, "They are pushing for Ra right now."

Perseus nodded, "Very well, make sure to have reinforcements sent to Atlanta as Aphrodite has reinforced Sophia."

He had reluctantly allowed Aphrodite her own army and vehicles, to prove that she wasn't going to be the same person that she had been as an Olympain. Time would only tell if that was true or not.

"Any word from the scouts on the unknowns across the mountains?" He asked, as negatives reached his ears in response.

He winced, as he looked at the map, his thoughts on his daughter and little sister. He was so worried so deeply for them, but he was planning to have a major offensive planned against the last Deities on the main continent, when this ended, then he and his family would be at peace.
