"and then what happened." Some bunny asked.

"We were running down the snowbank, Nick lousing his footing because of a patch of ice, he just became one big ball of snow which left me partner less because the perp turned right, and Nick went downhill." Judy explained a chase.

"and thanks for helping me when it happened." Nick said waking in with bunnies all over him, even his face.

"he was on a crime spring for three weeks, if I went after you instead of him. Who knows when we were going to get another chance at him." she said.

"I was in there for an hour, before a polar bear came along and throw me at a wall thinking I was a giant snowball." He said taking a set.

"well, sorry. But we got him and that's what counts." She said, "wash your paws this time?" she asked.

"yes, I did." he said and then started pulling bunnies off his body. But the moment he pulled one-off, two more jumped in its place. "so, what's for dinner." He asked. He sees Gideon with the same problem as him.

"hey, Cousin Nick." He said with little enthusiasm.

"Hey, can't get them off either?"

"I just let them be, they'll get off soon." He said.

"ok everyone time to eat!" Bonnie said. All the bunnies that were climbing on then jumped out off and scampered to their sets.

"see."

Nick was just stretched his muscles, "I feel so much lighter." He said. "so, what are we having for dinner?"

"well, I don't know about the family, but I made something special for you and Gideon. I apologize in advance if it didn't come out right, because I can taste it I don't know if it's any good." Bonnie said placing a bug loaf in front of them.

"oh." Nick and Gideon said with sparkles in their eyes.

Half an hour.

"oh, come on, Nick. There has to be something else you can tell us." Bunnies surrounding him asked.

"if I did, Carrots here would throttle me." Nick said and then leaned to the side as Judy's fist miss him completely. "nice try, but I too quick." He said and dodge her one more time, but he shifted to much and fell over. "ow."

"smooth." She said and then saw her mother walk up to her with a smile she knows all too well. "yes, you need something?"

"no, no. I'm just happy to have you back." She said with a soothing voice. "it's just been so long since you've been home."

"mom, just get to the point."

She then let her smile drop a little. "ok, so you said you were going to be here for some time. I didn't know who long are going to be staying, you said you were hopped to be here for the carrot festival. And that a not so long from now, but it's still a bit away. And as long as you you're here, I put your name on the chore wheel just to be fair with everyone else in the warren, and…" she then started touching her paw tips together.

"my name got picked, did it?" she said.

"at the same time, I also up Nick's name in, to be fair." She said.

"wait, what?!" Nick said from the ground, once he fell, the bunnies jumped on him again.

"Yes, fortunately you two got put on the same chore." She said with her smile again, "I know you want to go and do your job because that's why you here, but you don't have to do it for long, just until noon."

"I guess we can still do a lot of work after noon. Better get ready, you're going to have to pedal twice as hard tomorrow." Judy said.

"if I do that, I'll need another day to recover." He said.

"Nope, you have to work throw the pain." She said.

"its official, she trying to kill me." He said. and just laid down, "just talk me away." He said dramatically, then the bunnies cared him away.

"Now wait a minute." Bonnies said making all the bunnies stop. That made Nick slide from the bunnies and crash into a wall. "sorry." She said, "you haven't even heard what you will be doing."

"well, I was just going to let Carrots tell me what we going to be tomorrow." Nick said getting up and dusting off, "what will we be doing tomorrow then?" he asked.

"nothing too hard, you and Judy will be in charge of the west shopping stall." She said.

"sells?" Nick had a wondering looked that turned into a sinister one.

"Nick, no."

"a place where haggling is encouraged." He kept saying.

"Nick." Judy gave a threatening tone.

"yes, I will do it." He said, "but, that tomorrow, now I have to sleep if I want to walk up early. Nigh everyone." He said and sated walking away. "what about you Gideon?"

"Yeah, I should be heading home myself. Have a big order to fill tomorrow." He said getting up, "thanks for dinner Mrs. Hopps it was wonderful." He said and then walked to the exit which nick was going to as well. Once they were far enough, "you should really come by my shop when you have time tomorrow, I can give you a free pastry when you do." He said.

"that would be great. And knowing Carrots, I might not get lunch tomorrow."

"I'm sure Miss Jude would let you eat. She can't be that bad?"

"in not that she's bad, it's just that when she goes cop mode, almost nothing can get her out of it. She'll forget to eat sometime until after work. So, I don't see any food in my future. That is unless I snack at the stand when she's not looking. Hope there are blueberries." He said looking up.

"ha-ha, you and your blueberry addition." Gideon laughed.

"Yeah, yeah. Anyways I don't want to keep you. I should be getting ready for bed, and I also should call mom before going to sleep." He said.

"Yeah, I know the feeling, I'll be seeing you. Good night cousin Nick." He said going to the door.

"night Gid. make sure you save me a blueberry tart" He said and walked to a hallway.

After changing and brushing his teeth.

"yes mom, I had plenty to eat…I already told you it's not like that…if you want to, there's plenty of room…ok then, I have to get to bed." He said and when he opened the door to his room, and there were bunnies everywhere. "well, good night." He said and hung up. "ok scooch over, I need my sleep." The bunnies did as Nick said, "do any of you know when I have to wake up tomorrow?" the bunnies just looked at each other and then just shock their head 'no'

"well, I just hope it's not too late." He said. "night everyone."

"night Nick!" they all said.

I know this was short, but I had nothing left. I know I haven't posted in a while, but things had gone crazy. I hope everyone is doing well.
