Disclaimers: This is a crossover between Sailor Moon and Uta no Prince-sama. I do not own these two shows. Sailor Moon is written by Naoko Takeuchi in manga form and aired as a series by Toei Animation and TV Asahi in Japan and by Kodansha Comics in North America. Uta no Prince-sama is created by Broccoli as a Japanese visual novel game franchise and aired as an Anime series by A-1 Pictures.
"Welcome everyone," said the TV host, "Today, we have a very special group with us. From Shining Agency's master course dormitory, please welcome STARISH!"
It was another day for STARISH and their newest member, Cecil. Shining Saotome was reluctant to add Cecil into the group, but once they sang their newest song, Maji Love 2000%, for him, he was hooked and added Cecil without a problem. Right now, all of STARISH was on a TV show to talk about themselves to their fans and what the next big hit was for STARISH. They heard the signal to get onto stage and went out, everyone waving to the fans that were out in the audience. Once they sat down, the host looked a bit surprise to see their newest member. "I knew that Shining-san introduced a new member, but I couldn't believe it until now," said the host.
"Well, believe it," said a happy Otoya.
"Cecil is our newest member, and it feels like our group is finally complete," said Natsuki.
"So, you all felt that the group was incomplete before," asked the host.
"Hai," said everyone.
"What about you, Cecil," asked the host, "What made you want to become an idol?"
"For me, I, at first, didn't want to become an idol," confessed Cecil, "But, after hanging out with STARISH and learning what they did as a group, I finally realized that being an idol was actually what I wanted to do."
STARISH smiled at Cecil as he confessed that he didn't really want to become one until after he saw what they did as a group and individually for everyone that were willing to listen to them. As they answered similar questions and what they planned for the future, they couldn't help but think about their friends… and how they got their powers.
- Flashback: Three Nights Ago –
"STARISH," said Taiki, "Are you ready to receive planetary powers to protect yourselves?"
It was a few nights after Usagi dropped the bomb on a plan that would ensure STARISH's safety, especially Cecil's. Cecil was still reeling from the information that his family were in a semi-dangerous situation. According to the Senshi in front of him, their two enemies were indeed his father's oldest advisors. He also couldn't believe that they would have the evil fairies turn him into a black cat. However, the Senshi knew that it was possible due to them commanding shape-shifting baby candy monsters. Cecil, for now, was just glad that he, along with his newest group, will finally have the power to help and make sure his family stays safe. As STARISH and Senshi arrive at a clearing, where the full moon was seen brightly in the sky, STARISH turned to the Senshi and heard Taiki's question. "Hai," said the guys.
"You sure," asked Seiya, "Because once you get your powers, this is permanent."
"We are," said Tokiya for everyone.
"Then, let us begin," said Setsuna.
The Senshi started to walk towards the lake, and the first step made STARISH stare. They saw that the Senshi weren't sinking lower in the lake as they formed a big circle. Once they did that, the Senshi motioned for STARISH to get in the middle of them. Otoya hesitated before following the Senshi into the lake. He, however, was surprised by him not sinking INTO the lake. When the other members looked at Otoya, they, too, were surprised by what had happened before they followed Otoya. The Senshi saw their hesitation, but they ignored it as they started to faintly glow their planetary colors. It was when STARISH got into the middle that the Senshi started to talk one by one. "Dear Mother Moon," said Usagi, "We, the Senshi, are prepared to make these gentlemen planetary knights by your powers."
"Our reasons are that evil forces are coming," said Taiki.
"And we will need the help of the planets and stars once more to make the universe safe," said Seiya.
"They will also need the protections of the planets and stars to conquer what will come," said Yaten.
"We ask that you judge them by their souls before granting them the powers that be," said Hotaru.
"So, please send your magic through us towards them and create the planetary knights," said Setsuna.
As the six Senshi repeated what they were saying, all six started to glow brighter and brighter. STARISH could see six different colors as a bath from all six colors connected to the group. STARISH could feel the pure magic that was happening surround them and seep into their bodies, into their souls. They couldn't really describe the sensation as a huge beam of pure white light shot up towards the full moon that was in the sky. That pure white light then shot down seven different colors, one color surrounding each member of STARISH. The seven guys gaped in awe as they saw themselves glowing. Then, they turned to Usagi as they heard her voice. "Congratulations," said Usagi, "You are now Sailor Senshi. You are now planetary knights."
"Thank you for bestowing us this honor," said Masato.
"Wah~," exclaimed Natsuki, "What planet did we get?"
"Well, Natsuki," said Hotaru, "Since you are glowing orange, you have the planet Venus, the planet of Love, Hope, and Beauty."
"And us," asked a curious Shō.
"Shō, you were glowing yellow with some hints of navy blue," said Seiya, "Which means that you have the planet Uranus, the planet of Sky and Flight."
"Masato," said Taiki, "Was glowing icy blue, which is the sign of the planet Mercury, the planet of Water, Intelligence, and Wisdom."
"Ren was glowing red," said Yaten, "Which is the sign of the planet Mars, the planet of Flame and Passion."
"Tokiya was glowing green," said Setsuna, "Which is the sign of the planet Jupiter, the planet of Thunder, Courage, Protection, and Caring."
"Cecil was glowing sea green," said Usagi, "Which is the sign of the planet Neptune, the planet of the Sea, Embrace, and Comprehension."
As each Senshi finished explaining to six out of the seven members of STARISH, they tall turned to see Otoya glowing a different color. Usagi gasped before she turned her head to hide her new tears. The Starlights gaped in surprise of the golden glow that was emitting from Otoya. Hotaru, who knew what Usagi was thinking about, pulled her Princess away from the group to get back to their dorm within the master course building while Setsuna sighed. She knew that there would be a new ruler for Earth, but to think that it would be someone from this group… Setsuna looked towards where Hotaru was dragging Usagi back into the room. "Uh, is something the matter," asked a confused Cecil.
"You do not need to worry about it," said Setsuna, "For now, I shall tell you what Otoya represents."
"If you would please," said Tokiya.
"Otoya has glowed golden," said Setsuna, "Which is the power of the golden crystal. That golden crystal was wielded by the late Prince of Earth, Prince Endymion."
"So, Ikki has the power of the planet Earth," said Ren.
"Yes, and more," said a serious Yaten.
"More," yelped Otoya.
"Indeed," said Taiki, "But, that power could ONLY be handed out if BOTH late Queen Serenity of the Moon and the late Prince Endymion agree to give it."
"Since both indeed granted the powers to Otoya," said Setsuna, "they dubbed Otoya as the NEW Prince of Earth, making him the heir to rule over Earth when the time comes."
"So, congratulations, Otoya," exclaimed Seiya, "You are now a prince instead of a knight!"
- End Flashback –
With that exclamation from Seiya, Otoya remembered that he paled so much that Natsuki and Tokiya had to help Otoya stand before he also fainted. Sure, the others were surprised as well, but it would be best to support Otoya. Setsuna, however, DID explain that it didn't mean that Otoya had more powers than the others. It just meant that Otoya was judged differently to become the newest Prince of Earth, the newest betrothal to their very own Usagi Tsukino. THAT proclamation really DID make Otoya faint. After the fainting spell, Otoya woke up to talk to Usagi because he knew now why Usagi turned away and walked back with Hotaru without explaining anything. Usagi was still grieving over the last Prince of Earth, and to make things worse, her nightmares came back with now Mamoru accusing her of not loving him as much and ruining the future…
- Flashback: Otoya & Usagi's Talk –
"Usagi," whispered Otoya who knocked on the door.
After fainting, Otoya went to talk with Usagi about… well… everything. He knew that he had some feelings for Usagi, but being engaged to her was way too fast for his liking. He still also wanted to become an idol. When he knocked on Usagi and Hotaru's dorm door, Usagi was still awake inside. She couldn't fall back asleep as she had another nightmare, this time with Mamoru accusing her for never loving him and if she did, he would have still been alive instead of dead. Usagi heard the knock and got off of her bed, walking towards the door. She opened the door to see Otoya rubbing the back of his head. "Sorry if I woke you up," said Otoya, "But… I think we should talk?"
"Let's go towards the gazebo," said Usagi.
"Un," nodded Otoya.
Both Usagi and Otoya walked down towards the gazebo that was opposite of where all of them were give STARISH their powers. Once there, Usagi plopped down onto the grass, Otoya following. Both didn't know what to say at this point. Otoya was still reeling over the newest information about becoming a prince of an entire planet. As he turned to Usagi to speak to her, he could see the sadness just oozing out of Usagi. "Usagi," asked Otoya.
"I'm sorry that you are dragged into becoming my betrothed," said Usagi,
"What," asked Otoya before mockingly and teasingly asked, "Am I that bad of a guy?"
"Ī-Īe," exclaimed Usagi, "I-It's not that you aren't a great guy… I-It's just that y-you don't really have a choice in finding your own true love. Y-You got stuck with me… And my p-problems."
"Usagi, we are friends first and foremost," said Otoya gently, "I'll always be there for you… your problems and all."
"I know," sighed Usagi, "But, it also feels like I'm betraying Mamo-chan, even though it's been a year already."
"You'll never forget your first love," said Otoya.
"Yeah, but I also get nightmares about him blaming me for not saving him," said Usagi, "I-I know that in reality, HE'S the one who had to agree to give you your powers, but…"
"You just have to face your fears," said Otoya, "Besides, even if we ARE betrothed, we'll just take it one day at a time. I'm still learning a lot about you."
"I'm still learning a lot about you, too, Otoya," said Usagi.
"Then, let's put that betrothed thing out of our minds until it's really time," said Otoya before teasing Usagi, "Or one of us decides that we're madly in love with each other and move into that phase."
"Mou~," pouted Usagi before smiling, "Arigatō for listening, Otoya."
- End Flashback –
Otoya mentally shook his head as he smiled back towards the TV host. The TV host was finally introducing STARISH's newest song to the audience. This song, however, was not composed by Haruka, but by their friend, Usagi. All of the members smiled as the TV host ended their interview by exclaiming that STARISH will be singing their newest single. With that, all seven stood up, microphones in their hands, and started to sing…

AN: Whelp, now we know who has what powers. But, for Otoya… poor him. He DOES have feelings for Usagi, but he's respecting her time to grieve more and just staying friends instead. I do hope Usagi can overcome all the grief, especially those twisted nightmares. (╥_╥) Though, I also feel that Otoya would do something like that too after learning what powers HE was given. (´つヮ⊂) I chose Butterfly because after what they went through to get those powers, there would be changes to trying to fly towards the sky with their dreams intact. But, I also was trying to find songs that Usagi would have composed too. （；^ω^）Anyways, happy reading and see ya next chapter! (•‿•)
