Hi everyone! Honestly, I don't know what to say to make up my disappearance to you guys. But this story has been hanging over my head for the past five years (wow five years to the day) and leaving it without any resolution always bothered me (and I figured I should let y'all know I'm not dead). I have tried though several times over the past couple of years to write at least one more chapter to just finish it. However, every time I try to write something, I can't make myself do it.
Perhaps I should explain my disappearance. When I wrote the majority of this fanfiction, plus my other two fanfictions, I was in ninth/tenth grade. Once I got to eleventh grade, I started taking AP (Advanced Placement) classes and my coursework got significantly harder. I barely had any time to read anymore, let alone write. Now I am going into my senior year of college and I somehow have less free time than I did before, which high school me never thought would be possible. Also, after the actual Blood of Olympus was published, I lost my passion for this fanfiction since this was always supposed to be what I thought would happen in the book. Like I said though, I have tried to finish this fanfiction over the years but I just could never make myself do it. My writing style has just changed (hopefully improved) too much since then. I've even considered just re-writing the entire fanfiction but, again, I just can't get into it.
When I started writing fanfiction though, I swore to myself I would only write one thing at a time so I wouldn't get overwhelmed. That promise has prevented me from writing any other fanfiction in the past six years. I honestly do not know if I will ever write fanfiction again but I want to give myself the opportunity to do so. So, in order to mark this story as complete, I give you guys this update (or really author's note). I know this is not the resolution you guys wanted. It's the not the resolution I wanted either when I started this story. But when I planned this story, it was supposed to have 33 chapters. Even if I try to condense that into one final chapter, I know it would just read very rushed. Nevertheless, I recognize that I've left quite a few plotlines hanging. As such, if you want to read the plan that I had for this story to get some sort of a resolution, please message me and I will send you it. It is a fairly long (32 pages) but still somewhat scattered plan, but it is what I can offer you guys.

I am into a lot more fandoms now than I was when I started writing fanfiction: (still) Percy Jackson/Riordanverse, Harry Potter, Marvel (specifically Spider-Man/Iron Dad), and the Flash, just to name a few. Hopefully, I will be able to give you guys another story eventually but thank you so much for reading my stories over the years. It's been a blast.
