Chapter 25th
Doctor Josh Davidson walked inside the Loft amazed at how much the loft had changed from over the years. "Kate how are you?" He will asked with being courteous with his question.
"Better than expected Josh. I was wondering about you and your life. I heard about the divorced and remarried. Congrats on the new marriage even though I am sorry your first marriage didn't work out after being married a long time."
"I know. She just wasn't happy with herself and it screwed everything we had between us. I just wasn't able to handle the changes she was going through. Any rate I am here for Castle. Please tell me what had happened?"
"Let's go to the bedroom and I will be able to explain further." Kate will say while walking over to their bedroom with Castle still out cold from being hit.
Taking some time to explain the entire situation with the mystery writer. Doctor Josh Davidson was shaking his head with what Beckett had told him.
Josh had asked Beckett to leave the bedroom so that he will be able to examined him and give him something to counteract the drugs in his system. Though he might be needing to stay in bed for 24 hours and with being watched if possible.
He checked his blood pressure, heart rate any stomach internal injuries for which there were none other then the fact there was some light bruising from the kicks from his wife. He injected the syringe filled with the counteragent drug into his bloodstream to help. Otherwise Josh had used something to have Castle wake up placing it under his nose to get a whiff of the smell.
Right away he woke slowly feeling slightly wobbly and his eyes glazing a little. "Welcome back Richard Castle. How are you feeling?" Josh had to asked even though Castle had thought he was in another world seeing Doctor Davidson. Why in the world was he here in the first place?" He had thought to himself.
"Like a piece of shit Doctor. Where am I by chance?" Castle said with his hand rubbing his eyes.
"Your home Castle. Your wife Kate Beckett called me to check you out. I was able to give you an counteragent to help the drugs that was given to you earlier."
"Some of my memory is coming back to me on what that doctor did to me again with the truth serum. But what I don't get is why the club owner Debi Romo stopped the entire procedure?"
"I believe your wife Kate will explain. However for now you will now to stay in bed for some time to rest. Do you remember Kate kicking you into the stomach and face earlier?" Josh will asked with slight amusement that Beckett actually was actually to put down her husband.
"No wonder I feel like crapped." The mystery writer will say...He tried getting up when he felt slightly dizzy.
"Whoa there Castle! You need to take it easy for now and no going back to the club that Beckett had mention. Otherwise if anything else should arise Kate I would suggest call for an ambulance." Josh will say with grave concern.
"Thanks Josh I will see to it. But for now Castle is going to stay in bed and I will make something to eat for him unless the drugs in his stomach will make him throw up?" Beckett will say with a hint of a slight smirk.
"It shouldn't with the counteragent drug I had given to him. If he does I would suggest you place a garbage pail near him in case.
Beckett and Josh walked out of the bedroom leaving Castle alone. "Is he going to be alright Josh?" She needed to asked.
"Sure he will be Kate." He places a hand on her shoulder to console her and to give her a quick kiss on her cheek. "I will be calling to checking up on him tomorrow. If there is a issue please call my answering service."
"Thanks Josh. Please be sure to send a bill to this address. Don't worry you will be paid promptly." She stated with Josh chuckling slightly.
"I need to go dinner is ready for me on the hot stove. Good night." He said with placing on his dark glasses before leaving.
She locked the door to head back to the bedroom to see how's he is doing. Meanwhile Martha had come down the stairs since Kate had mention that she had called Davidson.
She walked slowly in her flowery type green color nightgown and robe to match with slippers. Before catching Kate from going inside. "How did the exchange go Kate with Josh?" She will replied with the question.
"It went well Martha. There wasn't anything between us Martha. That disappeared many years ago when I married Castle. Any way he's remarried to another nurse of the hospital. Josh said that Rick should be alright with the counteragent that was given to him by Josh. Martha I need a favor from you if possible. I need for you to keep an eye out on your son tomorrow. Don't worry I will pay you and place the funds into your account. Unless you something important to do?"
"Nope! I don't since my play is still on hiatus with the break. So I will be happy to help in any way Kate."
