Chaos Sorcerer: Thanks for the review, buddy. Yes, it gave out, unfortunately. Yes, CW Anti-Monitor would shit bricks, though mine will be much more powerful and his design will be like the one from UltraSargent's fan trailer, though he will get the burnt face at the end as he gets more power, but that's all a different story. Yes, you were right, congratulations. I can understand that, but that was the only I figured I could give Stan Lee a funny line to use in his cameo. You have a point on the fighting skills line. As for calling him a Demon, I actually changed the line. Originally, Buu said "You pig" and Vegito countered "You're the one with the pink skin", but Dormammu doesn't have pink skin so it wouldn't make sense. Actually, at the end when Dormammu was keeping up with him and kneed him in the gut, he was getting stronger, they just didn't fight beyond that. Yes, I guess I did. Glad you liked that. Yes, I think I remember that time. Just wait and watch. Yes, Lucifer here is on Earth-1. The only problem would be Kevin Alejandro, but then again, Juliana Harkavy was on Constantine before she came on Arrow. And imagine Kal's reaction to the fact that his Earth-1 doppelganger is actually the world's first murderer, LOL! Yes, we will get the reaction. Yes, it would take a second. Oh yes, Dark Avengers will have to work a lot now. Yes, that makes sense on Stormbreaker. Oh no kidding on Thor-El. I think I will use this fusion at best two more times in the entire series now, and one of those two times it will go right so we will actually get a badass, powerful and serious warrior who gets the job done. Yes, Gwen sure does. Yes, the hormones are showing. Oh yes, Mick would love it. I don't think Oliver's reaction will be that extreme, but he will take some time in absorbing it all in. Glad you loved the Stan Lee cameo. Yes, they do, and Stephen and Strange will need to do a lot of work. Just wait and watch what happens. Also, there is another hilarious CarryMinati video I got for you, and a reaction channel got English subtitles for it. Just type on YouTube 'CarryMinati Homeless Sexist Ghost Jaby Koay Reaction.' You'll love it, I couldn't stop laughing for several minutes when I saw that. Enjoy the chapter.
Guest: Thanks for the review. Read to find out.
Chapter 17- An unexpected journey
Earth-199999, New York Sanctum
"I can try and absorb his magic into me", Stephen said.
"But that will kill you", Strange said. "He is not an avatar, he is the real deal."
"It will still weaken Dormammu", Fate said. "The rest of us can use that opportunity to take him down."
"Will this work?" Steve asked.
"No idea", Merlin said. "But this is the last play we have."
"Only some of us are going to take on Dormammu", Gandalf said. "The rest of us will battle his minions."
"I think you should let me unleash my powers", Jean said, to everyone's shock. "Because that is the only thing I see I having a chance of taking him down."
"But Jean, it's too dangerous!" Summers protested.
"So is letting him win", Jean pointed out.
"If only we had beaten him", Thor said regretfully.
"Yes, it's our mistake, we let the power of our merged body get to us", Kal said.
"It was not your fault. This spell isn't used often, so a mistake happened", Aragorn told them. "But right now, we must stop thinking of what could have been done and think of what to do."
Thor and Kal exchanged a look, and then looked at Aragorn before nodding.
"You two still did make some difference", Stephen said. "You two annoyed Dormammu enough to the point he tried to first destroy our Earth and then take down the Multiverse, so he still hasn't regained as much power as he would have otherwise."
"Well, that sounds a little better", Kal said.
"Just hope it is enough to take him down", Thor said.
"We have ten minutes", Superman said.
"Let's get ready in that time", Steve finished the discussion firmly.
Later
Pepper was standing in a corner as everyone was preparing to go. Tony approached her and asked. "Pep?"
She looked up at him as he asked. "Okay, honey, you've been behaving strangely for quite a while? Everything okay with you?"
"I'm not joining this fight", Pepper told him.
"Okay, it's your choice, perfectly understandable", Tony said.
A few tears rolled down her eyes as she said. "I'm sorry."
"For what?" Tony asked.
"I should have told you earlier", Pepper started.
"Told me what?" Tony asked.
She walked closer to him and said almost in a whisper. "I'm pregnant."
Tony was simply looking at her, looking like a statue, for almost half a minute.
"Tony! Tony!" She snapped her fingers on his face. "Please, say something."
Tony shook his head, looking at her with emotion in his eyes.
"Why didn't you tell me before?" He finally asked.
"I'm sorry, I wanted to. I just…..I chickened out at every moment. I'm sorry, you deserved to know", Pepper said with tears in her eyes.
"How long have you known?" Tony asked.
"Just 2 days before your fight with the Symbiotes and Horvath", Pepper confessed and Tony was silent for a few more seconds.
"Stay here", Tony finally said to her. "We are going to fight Dormammu."
"And what if you can't win?" Pepper asked.
"We will", Tony simply shook his head. "We will."
He stroked her cheek and kissed her, and she kissed back, before he walked off, while Pepper watched with tears in her eyes, hoping against hope that they survived and their baby got to live a normal life.
Later, New York
The sky darkened as Dormammu appeared, horrifying the people as Steve said. "Get everyone out!"
With that, the speedsters as well as other heroes got to work to get everyone out while Strange flew towards Dormammu.
Parker swung near a home and saw Mindless Ones cornering a father and his young daughter. He swung through the window, kicking one of them away as Barry-Red arrived and sped off with the two to save them.
Parker then swung out before the Mindless Ones could attack him and saw them cornering a woman. He quickly swung down and grabbed her, swinging away with her.
"Hold on, I got you!" He said. "You're safe now!"
"Thank you!" The woman said. He put her on a rooftop and swung off, watching the sky brighten up with red lightning due to the clash between Dormammu and Strange as he saw the other heroes battling the Mindless Ones and evacuating more people down below.
Strange and Dormammu were in a deadlock, with Strange firing Eldritch energy as Dormammu fired Dark Magic.
"You aren't as strong as you are within the Dark Dimension, Dormammu", Strange said. "I can feel it."
"But it is still more than enough to vanquish you", Dormammu told him. "Where are your two friends you fused to battle me?! BRING THEM TO ME AND I WILL MAKE YOUR END QUICK!"
"No can do", Strange shrugged.
Dormammu then roared and fired more magic, sending Strange flying back. As he fired another blast, Stephen flew in the way, slowly absorbing it as he gritted his teeth.
"You fool!" Dormammu roared. "You really think you can absorb all of me? I am not an avatar, I am the real power! I will destroy you!"
"If it would protect the Multiverse from you, I would die a thousand times", Stephen said with gritted teeth.
"Then so be it!" Dormammu roared as Thor, Kal, Superman, Carol, Storm, Ororo, Adam, Susan, and Jean fired their attacks at him simultaneously while he roared and grunted, resisting.
"YOU TWO!" Dormammu roared as he saw Thor and Kal. "I WILL DESTROY YOU TWO!"
A green beam of light hit him as he looked down to see Steve holding up his Ring with Aragorn next to him, holding Mjolnir.
He unleashed a major shockwave of Dark Magic, sending all his opponents flying off, his power increase allowing him to do so.
He then rushed at Steve and Aragorn before Steve generated a green barrier to hold him back, raising his hand and gritting his teeth.
"I feel your fear growing. You will be dead soon", Dormammu snarled, wondering how Steve was able to hold him back in spite of his power increase.
"In brightest day, in blackest night", Steve whispered to himself.
"When you are gone, I will destroy everything you've ever loved", Dormammu snarled as the faces of Diana, Bucky, Natasha, Falcon, Wanda, Aragorn, Arwen, Frodo, Sam, Boromir, Faramir, Eowyn, Tony, Oliver, Sara, Superman and many others appeared in Steve's mind.
"No evil shall escape my sight", Steve said with gritted teeth.
"Your family, your home, none of them will be there anymore", Dormammu said.
"Let those who worship…..evils might."
"The entire human race will be wiped out and this Dimension will be mine!"
"Beware my power. GREEN LANTERN'S LIGHT!"
And with that, he generated a powerful construct, sending Dormammu back by sheer willpower as Steve formed a missile and fired it into the Demon's mouth, where it exploded, making him grunt in pain before Aragorn arrived next to Steve and both held Mjolnir together, hitting Dormammu with a powerful lightning bolt as he staggered back while John Stewart brought a green hammer down on his head, staggering him.
Strange then flew near Dormammu and his hands glowed as he started chanting something.
Parker then saw a Mindless One sneaking up on the Hobbits and swung down, grabbing Frodo and Sam in his hands as he said to Merry and Pippin. "Grab on to my back!"
They did as he swung into the air, only for a Mindless One to uppercut him as they all started falling, only for Barry-Red to grab them in time, but then they realized they were in front of Strange, who was casting a spell close to Dormammu.
"You all shouldn't be here!" Strange cried out as a force field of magic started covering them all. "Your presence is changing the dynamic of this spell!"
And then there was an explosion as the Hobbits, the Spider and the Speedster saw no more.
There was blackness all around as the six looked around, but couldn't see a thing, and couldn't feel a thing either.
Then they heard some kind of chanting and suddenly, many bright lights appeared, slowly taking the shape of Strange who said. "It is taking all of my power to reconstitute our physical forms in a place outside the physical."
"What does that mean?" Frodo asked.
"I am sworn to protect our Dimension from Dormammu and all such entities of darkness. Once up to his full strength, no one can oppose him. He would reduce Earth to a smoking cinder and then move onto another world", Strange said. "My purpose was to force him to act while he was distracted using most of his strength on my doppelganger and the others, then turn it, bending it to disrupt Space-Time around us until-"
"Until you were both torn apart and scattered to the Multi-Dimensional winds, is that it?" Parker asked and got no response.
"You were going to throw away your life to-", Barry-Red trailed off.
"Extreme problems often require extreme solutions", Strange said. "But your presence changed the dynamic of the spell. The mystical equation was altered."
"Your life isn't worth it", Frodo said to Strange. "There has to be another way."
"I wasn't willing to risk the life of the Multiverse itself to determine that", Strange said. "There was not enough time. Unfortunately, time is now what we have."
Sam started. "So what does that-"
"I believe all of you will find your noses acceptably close to where they should be", Strange said.
"Acceptably close?" Merry wondered. "But that is-"
"This is scaring me, Merry", Pippin told his cousin.
"Where are we anyway?" Parker asked.
"Your eyes are functioning. Look around yourselves, all of you. See where your intrusion has brought us", Strange told them.
They looked around and it was mostly dark, apart from a few bright lights that looked unnatural.
"Welcome to the Void. The long precreation hesitation which existed before Space and Time and thus, forever exists outside them both", Strange revealed where they were to them.
"Wow!" Both Parker and Barry-Red went at the same time.
"Is it the same Void I have heard of?" Frodo asked.
"No", Strange said. "The Void you know is just another name for Hell. This is different."
"Well, we're trapped outside Space and Time. Don't you just hate it when that happens?" Parker asked Strange.
"This has happened to you before?" Strange asked.
"I would say yes but the Speed Force was an approximation of Time and Energy", Barry-Red said. "So no."
"It hasn't happened to me. I just thought it happened to you, but if it didn't, well then, I was just trying to keep a positive outlook that stuff like this happens all the time", Parker shrugged.
"It may be within my power to return us to our Dimension or an approximation thereof", Strange said.
"What do you mean approximation?" Barry-Red asked.
Strange raised his hands as some glowing symbols appeared. "As I said, we are outside Space and Time. My skills may correct one, but not both simultaneously. Even if we return to the correct part of Space, we will remain outside Time, moving back and forth unpredictably."
"Anything I can do to help?" Parker asked. "Other than, you know, shutting up so you can concentrate?"
"That would be a most admirable start", Strange said as his hands glowed brightly while he chanted something.
"Well, that sounds like a good thing, don't you think, Pip?" Merry asked his cousin.
"Yes, Merry", Pippin nodded.
As everything around them glowed, Parker said. "Oh boy! Here we go! Did I mention I really hate this Mystical stuff?"
"Tell me about it, kid", Barry-Red said.
"I hope it returns us all so we can fight", Frodo said.
The light glowed very brightly and when it was gone, they were in New York again.
"Hey doc? Doc? I think it worked", Parker said before New York's condition registered in their minds. "No!"
It was completely in ruins, with everything burning as bodies lay all around.
And then, as they turned around, they saw a normal version of New York City, with the buildings all standing tall as the traffic in the city moved normally, a traffic policeman standing.
Barry-Red started. "How did that-"
"It is as I told you", Strange said. "We are outside of time."
They looked around as Strange said. "We are seeing the moments before Dormammu's and SuperThor's battle reached Earth, and a future where all were slain trying to stop him. For the moment, it is only a possible future."
"It's Schrodinger's Cat", Parker said.
"Whose cat?" Sam asked as he and the other Hobbits looked around. "I don't see a cat nearby."
"It's actually a science experiment", Barry-Red told them.
"Schrodinger had this idea that if you put a cat in a box and there's a 50-50 chance of some poison gas being released into the box", Parker started. "When you open the box, the cat is neither alive nor dead but-"
"In a state where it is both alive and dead", Barry-Red finished.
"Someone actually tried to do that on a cat?" Frodo asked.
"No, no one tried it. It was just a theoretical idea in someone's mind", Parker told him before saying to Strange. "Once you open the box, the Quantum possibilities collapse into one reality. A dead cat, or a live cat."
"Exactly", Strange nodded. "We are inside the moment between moments. We may even be able to affect what happens when the Quantum possibilities collapse into one reality. Our reality, our future."
He then looked at the destroyed New York City and urgently told them. "We cannot let that moment become this moment. Because I can feel Dormammu sweeping across the planet, leaving only destruction in his wake. All the heroes are dead, leaving behind only the dead, the dying and the wounded, and something much worse is coming right now-"
"Someone help!" A voice cried out.
"Uh-oh!" Parker said, recognizing the voice as he swung away.
"No stop!" Strange said. "If we become separated, you can be lost!"
But by then, Barry-Red had sped off too as the Hobbits ran after them as fast as they could.
"People these days", Strange rolled his eyes. "Never listen."
Parker swung as he saw a group of Mindless Ones chasing Ned and MJ.
They also saw a giant, ominous shape appearing in the sky.
Parker and Barry-Red made to save Ned and MJ when the scene changed, and Parker saw himself in a graveyard instead, where it was raining heavily.
"I'll make you proud, May. I'll make you proud."
He turned to see an older Parker standing in front of a grave.
"No", Parker whispered in disbelief as he saw the name on the grave.
R.I.P. May Parker. Beloved Aunt. Dearly Missed.
Then several police sirens blared behind the future Parker as he said. "I'd love to stay and talk, May, but they are coming for me. I got to go."
He then took out his suit and started putting it on as Parker heard himself say. "Whoa! This place is lit!"
Parker turned to see a younger himself in OsCorp, walking around, wearing glasses.
"I remember that day", Parker said.
Parker then noticed a spider crawling on the back of his younger self's shirt, and then turned to see police surrounding his future self, whose identity had clearly been leaked and so the police were arresting him.
He remembered Strange's words as he looked between the two moments.
"We are inside the moment between moments. We may even be able to affect what happens when the Quantum possibilities collapse into one reality. Our reality, our future."
Parker looked between his younger and older self.
His fourteen year old younger self was unaware that he was about to experience a spider bite that would change his entire life.
His older, much older self was surrounded by cops, and it was clear this was his last stand.
His beginning and his end were playing in front of his life simultaneously.
He could step in, fire a web deflect the spider from his younger self, then he would never have to live like this, he would never have to endure his powers and responsibilities, and he would never make the mistake that killed Uncle Ben.
Or he could step in, save his future self from what was coming, buy a little time and find out what was going on and what was next.
The future Parker turned his head, looking directly into Parker's eyes, to his shock. He then gestured at him to hide and he did as several cops stepped out, led by George Stacy.
"I was wondering when you were going to get here", future Parker said loudly enough for his younger version to hear.
"You knew I was coming?" George asked.
"Yes. You…and someone else", future Parker said and Parker immediately knew who he was talking about.
"I don't see anyone". George said in confusion.
"No, you wouldn't. In the shadows and the dark, no one can see those who don't want to be seen", future Parker said. "I was good back then, George. I was damned good."
"Yeah, yeah, you were", George said. "But what does that have to do with-"
"It doesn't matter. None of it matters", future Parker told him. "Just say what you came to say."
"It doesn't have to be this way. I can help you", George pleaded with him. "If you just surrender, take the manslaughter rap, I can help you. But I can't protect you if you keep going like this."
With pleading eyes, George said. "So please, don't do this Pete. You're not as fast as you used to be. And they have the advantage, as well as tech, to take you down. They will kill you. You know that. You have to know that."
"I know", future Parker nodded. "But I can't go back now. It's too late. What's done, what had to be done, is done."
Looking at George, he said. "Goodbye, old friend."
"Pete, please listen", George started.
"It's time. Walk away, don't look back", future Parker said as he stepped back near the grave where the present Parker was hidden.
George finally ordered. "As soon as he moves, take him down, and you have authority to use lethal force."
"Yes sir!" One man said as he lifted up a huge, high-tech gun.
"There is nothing you can do, time is about to flip again, so just remember what you have seen here", future Parker said as he looked at the grave behind which Parker was hidden, and Parker immediately knew his future self was talking to him.
"I can't warn you about what's coming because if you know, you will only make things worse", future Parker said. "It's better this way. Better for me. Better for us all."
He turned around, facing the cops and said for the both of them. "We had a good run. We fought the good fight. Nothing else matters."
And with that, he leapt into the air.
"Nothing!"
He leapt into the police force, fighting them and flipping to avoid their shots as Parker watched, still hidden.
He then lifted up several cops and threw them off while kicking many more away, only for a shot from one of those guns to hit him as he yelled in pain.
Parker turned to look at his younger self. The spider was crawling up his sleeve to his hand now.
He could stop it all. He could save his future self. He just had to fire a web, and it would all change.
But then how many more people would die because he wasn't around to save them?
His hand still pointed at the spider on his younger self, he stood frozen. Then his hand started shaking.
"I'm sorry, Ben", he whispered as he lowered his hand and at that moment, the spider bit his younger self who let out a yelp of pain.
Same time
Barry-Red was running around Central City, chasing after a blue blur, before he was led to his childhood home.
And there, Hunter Zolomon stood, having taken his father hostage.
"Dad?" Barry whispered in shock.
"It's poetic, returning to your childhood home", Hunter said.
"Jay… don't do this." Barry pleaded. "I'm begging you! Take me. Kill me!"
"No!" Henry protested.
"You still won't believe me that you and I are the same", Zoom said.
"Come on…" Barry begged.
"Barry, look at me, son. Look at me", Henry attempted to assure Barry.
"So, I'm gonna have to make you believe me", Zoom continued.
"Whatever happens, you have made me the happiest father…" Henry whispered, with tears in his eyes.
"Dad…" Barry said lowly, his eyes getting wet as well.
"This time you're gonna watch your parent die, just like I did", Zoom said.
"No. No!" Barry yelled.
"And this is what's gonna make you just like me!" Zoom shouted.
Henry attempted to assure Barry. "Your mother and I…"
"Jay…" Barry ran towards the two as fast as he could, but for some reason, he wasn't fast enough as Zoom phased his fist through Henry's chest as Barry was suddenly filled with shock and horror.
"NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!"
Henry fell down, dying and getting pale and trembling as Barry knelt towards him.
"Dad. Dad, look at me. Don't leave me, not again. Dad! Come on, come on, come on, it's alright, Dad…"
Henry stopped trembling as he drew his last breath and Barry sobbed, while Hunter smirked. "No, dad…"
He grabbed his head, closing his eyes. This moment was the worst of his life. If he was ever sent to Hell, his punishment would be reliving this moment for all eternity.
Same time
Frodo found himself crawling back in Weathertop as the Nazgul, led by the Witch-King, marched towards him. He felt something in his pocket and took out a small yellow band. The One Ring To Rule Them All!
In spite of his better judgment, he wore it around his finger, and entered the wraith world as the Nazgul appeared in their Spectral forms.
The One Ring was drawn towards the Witch-King, who tried to take it, but at the last second, Frodo pulled back his hand.
Witch-King drove his blade through Frodo's chest who let out a roar of pain as he remembered the pain, all of it.
"I can…feel…his…..blade", he whispered lowly only to himself.
Same time
"Mr. Frodo!" Sam called out.
"Frodo!" Natasha called out too.
"Oh, no. Frodo. Mr. Frodo. Wake up." Sam said as the two shook him.
"Frodo you can't give in, not now! We're so close!" Natasha said.
"Don't leave me here alone." Sam said as he held Frodo up, "Don't go where I can't follow. Wake up."
Natasha touched his neck and her worst fears were confirmed. There was no pulse. And in that moment, she broke down, allowing the tears to fall, "Oh no."
"Not asleep." Sam cried as he cradled the dead Frodo, "Dead."
He knew he wasn't dead, but for some reason, being back in this moment, just reopened all of his pain.
Same time
Merry and Pippin charged the Uruk-hai to protect the wounded Boromir and Sara, only for the Uruks to lift them up without even breaking stride as they carried the two away, and this was the start of the worst few days of their lives.
Same time
"Spider-Man!"
"Doc?" Parker called out as he looked around.
"I apologize for the delay", Strange said. "You've gone too far down the timeline for me to come. If I try, we may be lost forever."
"So what do you want me to do?" Parker asked.
Same time
"You have to come to me", Strange said as Barry-Red listened. "You have to find me."
"Okay, swell. But how?" Barry-Red asked.
Same time
"You just have to come back up your own timeline till you reach the present", Strange said.
"But how?" Frodo asked.
Same time
"I am Sorcerer Supreme. I miss nothing", Strange said as Sam listened.
"All right, I was just asking", Sam told him.
Same time
"I've sent the Spell of Becoming in your direction", Strange told Merry and Pippin. "You should be seeing it by now."
That was when they saw a blue light coming at them.
"Yes", Merry nodded.
"We see it", Pippin said.
Same time
"If we succeed, you all will return to yourselves moments before the Heroes were tricked into releasing Dormammu", Strange said as Parker nodded. "You must stop them from repeating their mistake."
And with that, Parker was hit by the big, blue light and felt his eyes darken.
Parker's eyes opened as he felt a huge weight on him and realized he was trapped under debris. Then he realized where he was.
For some reason, he was feeling really weak, as he tried to remove the debris but failed.
Then he heard Strange's voice.
"Follow my voice."
That gave Parker determination as he said repeatedly. "Come on, Spider-Man! Come on, Spider-Man!"
And with that, he started moving the debris back with his head.
He managed to push the debris back and then lifted it with his hands, finally pushing it off.
Same time
Barry-Red ran up a building to the wormhole, running around as he tried to shut it off but couldn't do it, when he heard Strange say. "There is nothing you can do about this. But you can help save the Multiverse. Follow my voice!"
Barry-Red nodded in determination and ran.
Same time
Frodo was almost famished as he lay in Sam's lap while Natasha sat near them.
Then they heard Strange say. "You two can save everyone again. Just follow my voice."
"We must be rid of it!" Sam growled. "Once and for all!"
Sam shook his head, tears coming to his eyes. "Come on, Mr. Frodo. I can't carry it for you...but I can carry you!"
And then Sam slung Frodo over his shoulders, intending to carry him up to the mountain.
"Come on!"
Same time
Pippin was running in Minas Tirith when the Nazgul screeched, making him take off his helmet as he covered his ears in pain while falling debris killed other soldiers.
"Follow me, Pippin. Follow my voice", Strange said.
Same time
Merry coughed as the dust entered his throat and lungs. He had fallen right near the Oliphaunt.
"Follow my voice, Merry. You all can stop this", Strange said.
Picking up his sword, he started walking when a Harad soldier who had fallen off the war tower on the Oliphaunt's back attacked him with a spear. He avoided and inflicted a deep gash in his stomach, taking him down before taking down another in the same way.
Another attacked him but he stabbed that one in the foot, making him kneel as Merry dealt the finishing blow.
An Orc grabbed him and lifted him into the air, giving him flashbacks of when the Uruk-hai had lifted him up along with Pippin, Boromir and Sara. Screaming in rage, he sliced that Orc's throat.
Same time
Parker suddenly found himself in Valinor where all the Heroes were in battle with the Mindless Ones.
Then a blur stopped next to him and he turned to see Barry-Red with the Hobbits.
"You guys all right?" Parker asked.
"I'll be fine", Barry-Red said. "What about you?"
"Me too", Parker said while the Hobbits simply nodded.
"We need to act quickly", Frodo said as Barry-Red sped them all up to Reed's aerial craft that had just arrived, and all the Heroes were gathering there.
Reed was telling everyone. "This will funnel everyone's power through every vibrational plane until it finds the right one, the one that matches their Dimension."
"NO! WAIT!" Parker yelled as they all turned to him, the Hobbits and Barry-Red.
"It's a trick", Frodo said urgently.
"What do you mean, Lilliput?" Tony asked, confused.
"They want you to hit the vortex with multi-vibrational energies", Barry-Red said. "They are going to use it to bring out Dormammu from the Dimensions."
"Please, you have to believe us!" Sam begged.
"If you do this, Dormammu will come", Merry said.
"And everything will be destroyed", Pippin finished.
"Is this possible, guys?" Kal asked Tony, Reed and Cisco.
"I suppose", Reed said. "But it's quite a leap in logic, and", he looked at the Hobbits. "You won't know much about th-"
"Oh they know enough", Parker said.
"It's a long story", Barry-Red shrugged.
"But we are telling the truth", Frodo said.
"Please, just trust us on this", Parker said. "Both the Stranges are on their way here right now. They can deal with this."
"I sense truth in them", Thor said.
"We shall give you all the benefit of the doubt, because we trust you", Aragorn decided as the time-travelers looked at him. "But no more. If our enemies gain advantage, we must do as our needs demand."
"We will wait for 20 more minutes", Steve said.
"Fair enough", Barry-Red said.
"FOR ODIN! FOR ASGARD!" Thor screamed as he flew down, firing powerful lightning and storms at the Mindless Ones, joined by Aragorn and Shazam who also fired lightning.
Superman, Kal, Kara and Clark also flew around, firing Heat Vision or ramming into the Mindless Ones.
Steve and John Stewart either took down the Mindless Ones with green beams or with projections they conjured.
Tony, Johnny and Carol also flew around together, firing their blasts.
Cisco also flew up and fired his Vibe blasts.
"Now I hope this pays off", Parker muttered.
"I think it just did", Sam said, looking up, and the others followed his gaze.
They saw Stephen and Strange hovering in the air, having charged a powerful spell together.
"Stand back!" Stephen said.
"Only magic can counter this intrusion!" Strange added.
And then their hands glowed with powerful Eldritch energy as they chanted simultaneously.
"By the crimson bands of Cyttorak, the Eye of Agamotto, the mists of Morpheus…."
They continued chanting as a powerful light glowed from them both while the sky was surrounded by another bright light.
Then there was a roar of thunder as the vortex began falling apart, dragging the Mindless Ones with it, and then there was a flash.
And with that, it was all over.
Looking down at the time-travelers, Strange said. "We must speak."
"Sure", Merry said.
Later
"And with that, we found ourselves back here again", Parker was saying.
"And we knew what we had to do", Pippin said.
"It is a curious story", Strange said. "But you all did well."
"And that's all that matters", Stephen agreed.
"Thanks. But I wonder what happened to the you that was guiding us all. Like, does he still exist?" Barry-Red asked.
"I do not know", Strange shook his head before he put his hand in his pocket while looking at Parker. "I never gave you your birthday present, did I?"
And with that, he took out a small box in the shape of a house and gave it to him. "Belated happy birthday."
"Oh! Thanks so much!" Parker said gratefully.
"I have these for you as well", Strange said as he took out two more boxes of the kind and gave one to Frodo and the other to Barry-Red. "I know it's not any of your birthdays but thought you'd need 'em."
"This place is ruined though", Frodo said as he looked down sadly.
"It's not", Stephen said as he and Strange flew down alongside Fate.
Together, Strange and Stephen raised their hands as their Eyes of Agamotto glowed while Fate too waved his hands. Then the Stranges rotated their hands counter-clockwise as they pointed them everywhere, and the damage started being undone as the grass became green again, the buildings became complete again, the trees grew back and the land became beautiful again while the people also slowly came back to life.
"I want to learn this spell", Radagast said, looking around in awe as he patted Clive on the head, and Yavanna looked around happily too at the restoration of Valinor.
"This will have consequences", Fate said about the use of time travel to restore everything.
"We will deal with them when the time comes", Strange said cryptically.
And now this is finally done.
So yes, Frodo, Sam, Merry, Pippin, Parker and Barry-Red time-traveled accidentally and this is what stopped Dormammu as they prevented the Heroes from accidentally releasing him.
So this effectively erases everything Dormammu did as well as SuperThor and the conversations that happened afterwards, but that doesn't mean they cannot happen again.
Any guesses on the boxes Strange gifted to Frodo, Parker and Barry-Red? Anyone can tell what they are?
However, I assure you, that this is not the last we've seen of Dormammu. He will be appearing in at least one more story of this series for sure.
And I think Dormammu would know that time travel was used to stop him, as he exists outside of Space and Time, so when he comes again, he can mention it. And out of the other beings that appeared in the previous chapter, I think Mephisto, Uatu, Mar-Novu and probably Lucifer Morningstar would know that time travel was used too. Not too sure about Lucifer, as this isn't comic book version, but the others will know.
Darkseid and Galactus won't know about the time travel IMO, but that doesn't mean they aren't showing up.
Next chapter will be the last main chapter. Hope all are excited.
Hope everyone enjoyed and see you all next time with another chapter. Stay safe from the coronavirus ya all!
