Ladies Fight Part 1
Maia raised an eyebrow. "A lamp on a cargo transporter? I'm not scared."
Chariot revved her engine. The two vacuums stared at their foe.
"Now, we have business with a client," Maia said. Her gaze darted to Aaron. "We need his motor."
The other vacuums encircled Aaron.
"Not on my watch!" Helen snapped. She tapped Kim on the shoulder. "I'll take on the vacuum, you get the freak of nature."
"And Janice gets to mow the fan down?" Kim chuckled.
"I guess that's what we'll do."
Pink was placed back with the repairees. Mr. Schultz would be picking her up soon. Cassie and August were the only ones there. She could see. Cassie was a bit on the wobbly side, something about her base being misaligned due to being moved.
The tall fan glanced at her.
"Wow, you look... a hundred times better," Cassie said.
Pink looked around. It was a relief to finally see again. "I... I feel better."
August twitched. The mechanic said he had a "hyperactive motor".
"In an hour, I'm going home," Pink said. "And then, back to work."
Kim and Haley stared at each other. Something about the "freak of nature" was so familiar to her. "Do I know you from somewhere?" Haley asked.
Kim revved her motor. "Are you Haley?"
The lamp/drill/fan hybrid grinned. "Yes."
Diana and Helen, on the other hand were engaged in fierce combat, ramming into each other and trying to take the other down.
"They must've improved on the design," Helen growled.
"They did that and more!" Diana laughed. "Face it. You're too out of date."
Helen thought the windows might rattle from her motor roar.
Maia hovered above Janice and Chariot. She landed on the back of the vehicle.
"Maybe bringing a vehicle was a little too overkill!" Maia sneered. She jabbed the screwdriver towards Janice. Janice leaped out of the way.
Aaron wrapped his cord around Julian.
"I know you're scared," Julian said. "To be honest, I'm kinda scared too."
