Elizabeth brought Diana a very special present for Halloween. Her very own Witches broom! And this wasn't any old hardware store broom - this was the real thing. One you could fly on!

"Wait? That's real! I thought that was just movie stuff!" Nick exclaimed.

Adalind shrugged her shoulders "I honestly don't know."

Nick was in shock "So wait, you can fly?"

She shrugged again "Um, my mom didn't really go over any of this sort of thing with me."

He thought for a minute "Well, I guess I sort of know how that goes. I wonder if Kelly or Catherine can fly?"

Adalind smirked "Let's see how this goes first. I'm not really big on brooms... I mostly use a dust mop."

Elizabeth is all smiles talking to Diana about her first broom ride "Sweetie, when I was your age, riding the broom with my mother was my favorite thing to do. Here! Let's get your hat on. You can't fly without the hat!"

Elizabeth had even brought the girl her own small witch hat.

"Ok, honey, I have to change my face so we can fly" and the old Hexenbiest wogued into Witch mode. "Now get on behind me. Hold on tight!" And ZOOM! Off they go.

Nick has a giant smile on his face watching the girl and her grandmother zoom around "Wow! That looks like so much fun! I wonder if she will take me up on a ride."

Adalind isn't so sure "I don't know, Nick, that looks pretty dangerous. Don't you think our daughter needs pads or a helmet?"

Nick winks at her "Come on honey, let her have some fun. I mean what's the worst that can happen?"

Adalind frowns at him "She could die!"

Nick shrugs "Meh. Her grandmother probably won't kill her..". Then he thinks a bit "Well, at least not any worse than last time."

ZOOM they go buzzing right past Mom and Dad's heads. The duo are now twisting and turning through the air, blasting through Portland's Halloween night sky. He can hear Diana laughing each time they fly past.

They land and Elizabeth sees the look on Nick's face. "Do you want to try?"

"Absolutely!"

Hexen-Elizabeth smiles and says "Riding a Grimm on a Broom! Imagine what my friends will think of that! Ok, put on the hat."

He puts Adalind's witch hat on his head "Whoah! It tingles! This is really strange!"

"Ok Nick, come get on with me." Elizabeth smiles a mischevious smile "Adalind, here, come take a picture with my phone! Maria will never believe this! A Grimm with the hat on a broom!" She is laughing to herself "HA!"

Adalind is laughing "Ok, Say cheese!" *click*

"Now hold on!" And ZOOM they are off. She flies Nick considerably rougher, but he is enjoying every second.

Finally they get back. Nick looks at Adalind and says "Wow! So much fun! So you have really never done that?"

Adalind looks at them like they are crazy.

"Uh, honey, little help here!" Nick is pulling on the hat "It won't come off!"

Elizabeth is laughing at him "Awwww! It likes you!"

Adalind looks at her husband "How am I supposed to know, I have never even put it on my head."

"Nick, Don't pull on that" Elizabeth says and then looks at her shocked while Nick is still swiveling his head around trying to figure out how to get the hat to let go. They are ignoring Nick now "What? Never?"

"Nope, not even once!"

Diana looks at her dad "You have to relax Dad! Watch." And she takes the hat off his head. Then she puts it right back on his head again.

"Wait! No! Diana! Now it's stuck again! Wow that feels really weird! It's like minty."

Elizabeth is laughing and Adalind looks at him like he is crazy "Minty?"

Elizabeth is still laughing "Maria will never believe this!" and clicks a picture of Nick in the hat. "A Grimm! Ha!" *Click, send*

Elizabeth has a big smile on her face "Adalind, come on, you need to do this at least once in your life! Get the hat and come on!"

Nick is still struggling and the hat won't come off. "Guys! Hello! Little help here!"

Adalind walks over to him and holds her hand above the hat. It comes right off into her hand. "Are you sure this is safe?" "Of course, come on! It's Halloween and THIS is the witching hour!"

Both women wogue into witch form, Adalind grabs on behind Elizabeth, and ZOOM! Off they go. Nick hears Adalind laughing as they fly around.

They get back and Elizabeth is asking her "So that was really your first time ever? You did really well. And you have never put the hat on your head before?"

"No."

"Not even once? You were never curious?"

"Well, let's just say witching and I don't exactly get along."

"Wow! My mother was always scolding me about running around the house in her hat when I was little. Never?"

"Nope."

"Well, my dear, let's change that!"
