Reyna's eyes drifted open, and she stared at the concrete ground that her face rested on. It was impossible to lift her head, and her entire body felt numb. She tried to move her finger but had no luck. Where was she? Reyna blinked a few times.

The last thing she remembered was drinking something. Piper had been there. Where was Piper now? Where the hell was Reyna? Upon trying to move her fingers, she felt something heavy in her hands. Her eyes moved down to look at the silver and gold coins in her hand.

What the hell was going on? Reyna tried to lift her head again, but she couldn't. She tried to move her fingers once again but had no luck. Panic ran through her, and she blinked a few more times. Then, she heard laughing from somewhere near her.

"I gave that stupid bitch enough sedatives to stop the heart of a man twice her size," a voice said. Reyna's eyes focused on the blood on the ground. Was that her blood? Had she gotten into a fight? Reyna closed her eyes again and tried to focus.

They had gone to the Avenicci family party to steal Arke's wings. Reyna had gone there with Piper, and someone offered her a drink. Then, she woke up here. And, that voice was talking about sedatives. Had her drink been drugged?

"She's going to pay for destroying my car," the voice said. Reyna heard footsteps near her, and she slowly looked up. A foot slammed right into her gut. Reyna didn't even feel the kick. She heard herself gasp, but she hardly registered it. "Are you awake?"

Reyna groaned as someone use their foot to push her onto her back. She stared up at the man above her. What was his name? Johnny? Josiah? No, it was Jerry. And, he was mad at her. Something about his car. A knee pressed into her stomach, and she felt a sharp pain that was quickly dulled.

"Wake up you stupid bitch," Jerry hissed. Reyna blinked a few more times and tried to move her fingers. Relief shot through her as her fingers started to move. She willed the rest of her body to wake up faster. Jerry stared down at her with hateful eyes. "You are going to pay."

Reyna tried to speak, but she couldn't move her jaw properly to form the words. Jerry sneered at her and punched her in the face He stood and paced around. Jerry spoke, "I have been dreaming about this day for a long time. You destroyed my car, and I am going to destroy you."

Reyna closed her eyes for a few moments. She tried to clench her fist around her coins. Something warm trickled down her mouth. Blood. She was bleeding. Reyna desperately tried to think of a way out of her situation, but her mind felt sluggish.

Her hand didn't clench, and the two coins fell from Reyna's hand. Jerry turned towards her and picked them up. He held them to the light and spoke, "What are these?"

"Give them back," Reyna choked out. She tried to sit up, but her body wouldn't let her move. A growl of anger left her, and she tried to back away. Jerry knelt by her and held the coins out in front of her face.

"You want them back?" Jerry asked. He clenched his fist and punched Reyna in the face. Her head snapped back against the ground, and a groan left her. The coins were dropped on her chest. "Maybe, you should have thought of that before you destroyed my car!"

"It's just a car," Reyna wheezed. She was able to move her hand enough to wipe the blood from her mouth and nose. Talking was a little easier. "A stupid car."

"It was my birthday gift!" Jerry yelled. "My father gave that to me for my sixteenth birthday!"

"Will you shut up?" Reyna groaned. She tried to move her toes and was able to. Reyna just needed to buy more time. "I didn't steal your girlfriend. Not like you have one."

Jerry started to swear at her in a language that she assumed was Italian. Reyna slowly looked around. She was in a garage. Two men were standing off to the side. Jerry spoke, "I am done with your mouth."

Before Jerry could do anything, there was a ringing noise. After a moment, Jerry grabbed his phone and answered it. He spoke, "Babbo?"

"Who the hell is Babbo?" Reyna asked. She lifted her head enough to watch Jerry. The boy was now pale and speaking in rapid Italian. The person on phone, Babbo, spoke in a loud, angry voice. They also spoke Italian.

"Yes Babbo. I will be right there," Jerry said after a minute. He hung up the phone and looked down at Reyna. "This is your lucky day. I'll make you pay later."

"Wait. Babbo. That's your father," Reyna whispered. She looked up at Jerry. "Your daddy is going to get you out of trouble again?"

Reyna was able to move her arms completely. Her knees felt weak, but she was sure that she would be able to move soon. Just a little more time. Jerry spat down at her and spoke, "I don't have time for you. Pick her up."

The two men walked towards Reyna and picked her up by her arms. She gasped and tried to get her footing. It was no use. The two men kept her standing. Jerry grabbed her face and spoke, "I have to go make some appearances at the party. When I'm done, I'll be back, and I'll have you screaming for mercy."

"You'll be the one screaming for daddy's mercy if you don't hurry up," Reyna muttered. Jerry tightened his grip on her face. Reyna knew how much of a temper Jerry had, and she could guess that he got it from his father. She just needed to waste more time.

"Shut your mouth," Jerry hissed. Reyna felt a crooked grin come to her face, and she felt more blood trickle from her mouth. Her eyes moved down to her coins. If she grabbed them, she could summon Aurum and Argentum. A fist slammed into her gut.

Reyna gasped and felt pain, but it wasn't a lot. There was one good thing about half her body still feeling numb. She spoke, "You punch like a girl."

"Punch like a girl?" Jerry demanded. He punched Reyna again. Her knees lost all strength, but the two men kept her standing. Jerry sneered. "Then, why are you bleeding? Let go of her."

The two men let go of Reyna, and she collapsed to her hands and knees. She wasn't strong enough to keep herself up, and she collapsed to the ground in a heap. Reyna slowly reached out for her coins, but Jerry stepped on her hand.

Reyna hissed in anger. She moved her other hand to her stomach and felt that her dress shirt was wet. Her stitches had torn. Reyna rested her face back on the ground and stared at blood on the ground. It wasn't a crazy amount of blood, but considering what she had been through the last few days, she didn't want to lose anymore.

"These are mine now," Jerry said. He grabbed the coins from the ground. Reyna tried to get up, but she couldn't find the strength. "Is this the allowance that your sister gives you?"

"It's the tip that your mom gave me after last night," Reyna said. She didn't quite remember the sneaker that slammed into her temple or the punches that came after. The next thing she remembered was hearing yelling. Reyna stared at the ground and blinked a few times.

The two men grabbed Reyna, and she tried to fight back against them. They shoved her towards a car, and Reyna collapsed against the hood, using it to keep her somewhat on her feet. A man knelt in front of her. Reyna slowly looked up at the blue eyed man in front of her. His black hair was slicked back. A fedora rested on his head, and he wore a suit.

Luca Avenicci. The head of the Avenicci household and a very cruel man. He would destroy anyone who crossed him and make sure they never did it again. Reyna looked to her side and saw that Jerry was standing there silently. His face was pale, and he looked terrified. Luca held something up in front of Reyna's face.

Reyna slowly looked at the handkerchief. Luca gently placed it to her nose and stood. He turned his head and spoke, "You two get me a doctor. Now."

"She destroyed my car," Jerry protested. Luca turned on him, and Jerry flinched. "I was going right back to the party. I swear."

"You have done enough damage," Luca said in a low voice. He had a strong Italian accent. "I walked in on your assaulting a defenseless guest of ours. What else have you done to her?"

"He drugged my drink," Reyna muttered. Luca looked back at her, and his eyes widened. Reyna collapsed completely against the car and slid to the ground. She knew that Luca did not care what his kids did. Money would solve most of their issues, but he also knew that Reyna would not be bought off so easily. "The police are going to have a field day with him."

Jerry opened his mouth, and without even looking, Luca held up a hand. Reyna spoke, "I guess the only question is how much are you willing to pay to keep my mouth shut."

"We will talk about that, after a doctor tends to you," Luca said. Reyna buried her face in the handkerchief. Her knees wouldn't support her weight. She was at the mercy of Luca, and he knew it. He knelt by her again. "We'll have a nice long chat."

"After your son gives me my coins back," Reyna muttered. Luca didn't move an inch, but he didn't have to. Jerry threw the coins to the ground a moment later. Reyna grabbed them and held them close. She rested the coins against her face and debated her next move.

While she didn't want to be around Jerry any longer, she needed to keep Luca distracted before she took an item of two from his vault. Then, she could go back to the ship and curl up in her bed for a few days. For now, Reyna was going to save her strength. She slowly grabbed a piece of ambrosia from her pocket and ate it. A smirk came to her face as Luca turned on Jerry and stared screaming at him. Maybe, the night wouldn't be so bad after all.
