"Thank you, Elena."Rebekah said as she came back with a gasoline tank."Now, let's pick it up where we left off."Elena moved out of the way as Rebekah started to drench Emily in the gasoline and all around her.

"What are you doing?"Emily exclaimed in horror.

"Thought I'd shake things up a bit."Rebekah said, sounding as though what she was doing was tiring.

"Are you insane?"Emily asked angrily as she glanced between Elena and Rebekah.

"I prefer spontaneous."Rebekah snapped before smirking."That's probably why Damon likes me so much."Elena couldn't help but chuckle softly at the enraged look on Emily's face before out right laughing when Rebekah threw the gasoline tank at Emily, who barely managed to duck out of the way."Here's what's gonna happen."Rebekah said as she pulled out a match box and pulled out one of the matches."Elena?"Elena looked at the match in Rebekah's hand and it lit up before Emily gasped, jumping away when Rebekah threw the match on the ground, where the gasoline had been spilt, leaving Elena and Emily on opposite sides of the fire."You're gonna come outside, willingly."Elena lit the next match magic in Rebekah's hand before it was thrown into the other patch of gasoline, leaving Emily cornered."or you're gonna stay in there and burn."

"This is fun."Elena said softly while chuckling as she saw the fear in Emily's face and eyes.

After a while, the fires went out."The next match is landing on you."Rebekah warned Emily, showing Emily the video of her."So, Emily, how does it feel to know that these may be your last moments?

Emily shook her head slightly while eyeing Elena."I don't know."Emily said, sounding bitter."You tell me. You're the one whose Mother is trying to kill you."The candle closest to Emily suddenly flared up and she let out a squeak, like a mouse.

"You should be very careful what you say to me."Rebekah snarled, smirking at Elena in thanks for giving Emily the non verbal warning.

Emily swallowed thickly and eyed the necklace around Rebekah's neck."You're still wearing her necklace."Emily stated warily.

Rebekah glanced down at her neck then up at Emily."Do you want it?"Rebekah smiled falsely."Is that your last request?"Rebekah questioned Emily."Here, It's all yours."The blonde said as she ripped the necklace off and threw it at Emily.

"She's not doing this because she hates you, Rebekah."Emily stated firmly."She told me that she-she just doesn't have another choice."

"Bullshit."Elena suddenly said, causing them to look at her."This isn't about her not having a choice, Emily, because Esther does have one."Elena crossed her arms, glaring at Emily."You have no idea what you're talking about."

"What do you mean?"Rebekah asked, eyes narrowed.

"I'll tell you later."Elena said calmly and shook her head at Rebekah when she went to say something.

Seeing the look in Elena's eyes, Rebekah realised that Elena didn't want to keep her in the dark but couldn't tell her anything because Emily was here with them and might cause more trouble then good."Rebekah, Elena-Spare me your pity, Emily."Rebekah cut Emily off.

"We're not girlfriends."Rebekah spat as her eyes glistened with tears.

"And we're not Sisters, either, remember?"Elena stated, phasing it as a question as she gritted her teeth.

"You want us to prove it?"Rebekah questioned Emily, grabbing another match, which Elena Magically lit."Say the word."

"We dare you."Elena stated, tilting her head up slightly and pursed her lips as Emily watched them wearily.

"You're not gonna do it."Emily suddenly said confidently.

"And why is that?"Rebekah and Elena gritted out icily, glaring coldly at Emily.

"Because there's still a chance that you might be alive tomorrow."Emily stated and Elena and Rebekah paused."And if that's the case, and you kill me now, you'll have used up all of your revenge. Wasted it. And isn't that what you want, revenge."Elena and Rebekah looked at each other, considering Emily's words."Because I-I pretended to like you and then I stuck a Dagger in your back? I mean, that's why you slept with Damon, isn't it?"Emily questioned Rebekah before looking at Elena."And I've tormented you for years and not once have I ever apologised for it and I know you don't want my apology because you think it means nothing, compared to everything else that I've done lately and will most likely will never apologise for."Elena stared at Emily blankly but could feel the Wolf in her rising, wanting to get back out and tear Emily's face up."That's why you're tormenting me."Emily looked between the both of them."Because I hurt your feelings."Emily looked directly back at Elena."I hurt your feeling more then Humanly possible and it's driven you to the point of where you stopped caring about me enough to do all of this to me."The trio was silent and Emily looked between her twin and Rebekah worriedly before the match went out and Rebekah let it drop to the ground.

"Well, you know the saying, karma's a down right nasty bitch."Elena mumbled as she walked over to Rebekah's side.

"The tough act doesn't suit you."Rebekah said coldly to Emily as Elena leaned on the rocky wall next to Rebekah, on the left.

"I never said I was tough."Emily retorted before glancing at Elena."We all know that I'm right."

"And you know what, if Rebekah and the others do die, I can still be tomorrow here to kill you."Elena stated coldly, looking Emily right in the eyes and the younger twin gulped.

An hour later, Rebekah got a text and looked at it before showing Elena."You can come out now."Rebekah said to Emily, who stood up and looked at Rebekah in confusion."Seems your boys took care of the problem."

"How did they do that?"Emily asked, looking between Elena and Rebekah.

"Damon turned your Witch friend's Mother into a Vampire."Rebekah stated while Elena stayed quiet.

"What?"Emily choked out, walking forward.

"Quite clever, actually."Rebekah said, sounding amazed at how smart the Salvatore Brothers were."They needed to sever the Witch Line, and, well, you can't be a Witch and a Vampire, unless you're like Liah."Rebekah smiled falsely at Emily."In any case, you're free to go."Rebekah said, taking Elena's hand in hers and started to leave before remembering something."Oh, and, uh, by the way, you were right."Rebekah looked back over her shoulder at Emily."I do prefer taking my time watching you suffer. Much more satisfying."She said then both she and Elena were gone.

"We're still alive."Liah said, looking up from the Linking Spelled Paper to stare at her twin Brother.

"That we are, Little Sister."Kol said, sounding pleased."And I've decided to get the hell out of dodge. Coming with me?"Liah bit her lip."Oh come on, it'll be like old times."Kol said, giving her a boyish pout."And you can figure out how to Unlink all of us with one of your Grimoires you have hidden all around the world."

"What about Elena?"Liah asked, frowning at the thought of leaving Elena here with people like Emily.

"Elijah will look after her."Kol said dismissively."You know he will. Besides, he'll most leave too and will take her out of this hellhole with him."Liah paused for a moment to think before she nodded, picking up the paper and folded it.

"Let's go."Liah said, standing up and put the folded paper in her pocket before leaving the room with Kol.

"Ok, why do you keep looking at that?"Rebekah, who was driving them back to the Mansion, asked, looking at Elena, who had pursed her lips as she watched the recording on Rebekah's phone.

"Pull over."Elena said sharply as she paused the video. Frowning, Rebekah pulled over and looked at Elena with a raised eyebrow."Do you see what I see?"Elena asked, showing Rebekah her phone and Rebekah raised an eyebrow.

"Us torturing Emily?"Rebekah asked rhetorically.

"Look behind her."Elena said, rolling her eyes.

Rebekah did as she was told and her eyes widened."Please tell me that isn't..."Rebekah trailed off as she looked at Elena fearfully.

"I was hoping I was wrong."Elena said."We really need to get you and your Siblings Unlinked or else you and your Siblings and every Vampire will die if the Scooby Gang find out about this."Elena said grimly and if it was possible, Rebekah would be as pale as a sheet of paper as she looked at Elena in confusion and horror."If you and your Siblings die, Rebekah, every Vampire will die after you, and the Balance of Nature will be in utter chaos."

"Call Liah. Now."Rebekah said as she quickly got out of her stunned state and started driving again.

"Already way ahead of you."Elena said, using her phone to call Liah, only to find a voice message and cursed after hearing it. Picking up Rebekah's phone, Elena sent a the video to Liah and told her what to actually look at and to call her.

"Where the bloody hell is everyone?"Rebekah asked as she came into the living room with Elena right behind her.

"It's over, Rebekah."Elijah said with his back to them, facing the window.

"Where's Mother?"Rebekah asked as Elijah turned around to face them.

"We have no Mother, only Esther."Elijah stated coolly."And Esther was right."

"What'd you mean?"Rebekah asked as Elena came to stand by her side, looking at Elijah in confusion and worry.

"Although I talk of virtue, when it suits my needs, I kill, maim, and torment."Elijah said, walking over to them."Even today, I terrorised an innocent."

"Emily is hardly innocent."Rebekah gritted out."Not after all she's done, all she's ever done to Elena!"Rebekah gestured to Elena, who frowned up at Elijah.

"And I used your hatred of her to get what I wanted."Elijah stated calmly as he looked between the both of them."Wielded you like I would a sword. My Sister and my Fiancée."

"I didn't do anything you didn't make me do, Elijah."Elena mumbled softly as she took his hands in hers.

"You did it to protect us, Elijah, and rightly so."Rebekah stated, frowning."We deserve to live. We are better than they are."

"Are we?"Elijah questioned Rebekah."Mother made us Vampires."Elijah said, looking away from Rebekah and Elena, pursing his lips."She didn't make us monsters."He looked back at Rebekah."We did that to ourselves."Pulling his hands out of Elena's weakened hold, he left the two of them alone.

"I'll go and tell him what we found, you go tell Klaus."Elena mumbled to Rebekah, who nodded, and quickly left after Elijah, who had headed upstairs to their room."Elijah."Elena said as she entered the room after him and closed the door behind her."I'm coming with you."She said knowingly and Elijah turned to look at her, pursing his lips."There's nothing here for me, and you know it."Tears formed in Elena's eyes."Jeremy's in Denver, Liah left me a message, saying she left with Kol."Elena walked over to Elijah."Rebekah will most likely stay here with Klaus. Please, don't leave me."Elena said, wrapping her arms around his waist.

"I won't."Elijah mumbled and held her in a tight embrace."I wasn't going to leave without you to begin with."

"Good, because if you left, then I'd have to tell you over the phone to get your ass back here and tell you something else."Elena said, looking up at Elijah, who raised an eyebrow at her."In the caves, Rebekah, Liah, and I found out that the Natives told the story of your Family History."Elena stated and took a deep breath."When Rebekah and I were in the caves tonight, I found a Native worshipping at the White Oak Tree, and there's also a Native Calendar."Elijah's eyes narrowed before hazel eyes widened at Elena's next words."Another White Oak Tree grew about three hundred years after you were turned. There had to have been a sapling, a new one to replace the old."Elena said grimly as Elijah looked back at her in horror."Rebekah's staying here to look for it and has most likely already told Klaus."I called Liah and she told me that she's gonna look for a way to Unlink all of us and I'm gonna try and tap into some old Ancient Petrova Magic to locate the tree."Elena explained her plan before sighing softly, knowing that Elijah wasn't going to like what she was going to say next."But do that, I need Katherine."The look on Elijah's face confirmed Elena's thoughts.
