When in London one usually wants to see all the sights, and although that was something I wish we could have done, we didn't really have the time to do so.
As I was ready for my performance I got a small squeeze from Dylan as he nodded, "See you, after all, this." he whispers, "Please be safe."
"I will, you stay hidden too, we've got everyone looking, best to keep them not getting to us." I tell him, leaning in to press a kiss to his cheek, "Love you"
"Love you too, good luck," he tells me as we part and the purple lights start shining around the area I was at.
"Hello, London! How's everyone doing on such a fine early night!?" I call out, heads turning in awe as I hear gasps and phones are pulled out.
"I need a volunteer to pick one of these cards!" I call out tugging out a brand new pack of cards.
A bunch of hands raises up and I seek out what looked like a younger kid, "Alright how about you, in the blue jacket," I say pulling out a sharpie, "Okay you're gonna write your name and a smiley face doing on the card you pick." I explain and he does so, his handwriting rather good spelling out 'Austin'.
"Alright, now Austin let's shove this back in the deck and shuffle." I say before hmming, "Or how about we just throw it here at the store's window?" I tease doing just that. As the cards splatter around, one card, however, was inside the store, behind the window.
Austin gasps as he peers to look, seeing it was his card with a wide-eyed look of disbelief. "That is your card right?" I ask earning a nod.
"Perfect, now I've got one other trick, Ma'am in the green hat, can you come and sign your name on a card, from this new deck?" I ask, having her do so, "Show everyone the card and put it back in the deck." I explain.
"Now I've got this bottle, one that you can have after this, it is New Year's Eve after all, how about we see where your card is… because it's not in the deck anymore I can assure you." I say passing the sealed bottle to her.
"Why don't you remove the label ma'am." I tease having her peel back the label with a gasp, her card pressed against the inside of the alcohol."
As I was about to get to the final thing my phone started buzzing and I pulled it out, "Wait, what?" I say in confusion as I hear Dylan on the other side about the rendezvous.
"Sorry guys! But it looks like it's time to get going! But remember what you saw because the grand finale will be important!" I call out before shuffling out as quickly as I could, blending into the crowd. As my lights zoom into one another before going dark once more.
~.~.~.~.~.~.~.~.~.~.~.~.~.~.~.~.~.~.~.
I got there first as was already getting a helmet on and a biker jacket on when Danny and Dylan came running in.
"Again? How did we get found out again?" Danny yells in as we all were coming into the rendezvous point.
"It's fine, it's fine. We'll just cut to the finale" Dylan says as I move to a bike, "No way in hell are you riding alone, I'm driving." he hisses out to me causing me to groan.
"Are we really gonna have an argument about this now?" I say my eyes narrowing, but I scoot back on the bike "Where's Merritt?"
"I don't know," Danny says shaking his head.
"I'm here," Merrit says from the other side as he runs in.
"And where's Lula?" Jack questions.
"I'm right here! What the hell happened?" Lula says nearly out of breath.
"My goddamn brother happened," Merrit says angrily.
"Don't worry about it. We just gotta get to the destination." Dylan says as he finishes clipping his helmet on.
"Lula, can you handle that thing?" Dylan questions.
"I can ride it. Have you asked the guys that question, or just me?" Lula barks back at him.
"Yeah, good point." I mutter, "Do you guys know...wait Jack!" I call out as he moves to take off.
"Let's go!" Jack calls out, speeding off only to get stopped by getting shot at and the only way to dodge was to skid the bike on its side throwing him off of it." Shit!"
"Jack's down. We gotta get him." Dylan calls out.
"Jack! Go, go!" I yell out as Dylan and Danny zig-zag the bikes a bit, "Oh gosh I'm gonna get sick if we keep this up." I say burying my face in Dylan's back.
As Lula seemed to get Merrit at least semi-understanding of what to do to ride we moved to quickly pull a maneuver where we grabbed Lula letting her climb up on Danny's bike as her's flew into the enemy's car exploding it.
"Okay, guys, I'm coming! Whoa! Jesus! I'm coming!" Merrit calls out, starting his bike only to not gain control over it, which caused him to eventually go flying into the air, landing roughly against another car.
"Okay. You got me. Those things are really dangerous!" Merrit says as it was too late and we were surrounded, each of us taking the helmets off and holding our hands up.
It wasn't long before a guard guy grabbed each of us, I felt like it was a bit too tight as they handcuffed us and got us into a truck.
~.~.~.~.~.~.~.~.~.~.~.~.~.~.~.~.~.~.~.
"Ah! Okay, feeling fear. Fear. Fear. Anger, anger. - Oh, full house!" Chase says with a giddy smile on his face.
"That's enough," Tressler says as he turns to glance at Chase.
"I was done," Chase says holding his hands up and rolling his eyes.
"So nice to see you all again. But since we're such old friends, let's skip the formalities. One of you has something we require. So give it over." Tressler says though none of us speak.
"Nothing at all? Really?" Walter says in wonder as if any of us would give each other up. Dylan moves from my left to try and attack hi only for the henchman to grab him pushing him back into the wall. "
Sit down!"
"Let's go, let's go! Let's go, let's go! Hurry up and move them quickly before they can do anything." Walter says as lights start flashing in everyone's faces.
"Get those lights off me!" Tressler calls out trying to block his eyes from the lights.
"Get on the plane!" was heard in the distance.
"Ow! Hey!" I yelp as I am forcefully shoved the others, mainly Lula who was also being manhandled were shoved into seats on the private jet.
" Yeah, uh, take off immediately," Walter says having picked up the phone that was there.
"You know, you make it almost too easy? I mean, even your hilarious attempts to make yourselves unpredictable, just follow the same pattern each time. Set up, set up, set up, set up. Big reveal. Which tonight was going to be the stroke of midnight, middle of the Thames? Tell me if I'm warm." Walter says as he turned to Danny who would not say anything.
"Well, there will be a big reveal, and it will come now."
"The stick, dear boy," Tressler says looking at Dylan.
Dylan shakes his head. "No"
"Fine. Start with the girls then." Walter says glancing towards me as his henchmen all get around me and Lula a knife flicking open as I flinch and press my back against my seat, "Whoa, whoa
"Hey, hey, hey!" Jack says trying to come to our defense.
"Give it to him," Dylan says looking horrified.
"Danny, give him the card," I say trying not to whimper as the hand holding me dug deeper into my shoulder.
"Just give it to him," Dylan says defeated.
"Danny, come on," Jack says as Danny seems to sigh as he through sleight of hand gets the card out from his pocket handing it to Walter.
"We'll have a closer look," Walter says as they got to examine the card.
"Okay, I owe you an apology," Dylan says trying to apologize.
"Leader, you should have planned an escape, okay?" Danny says sarcastically. "
This is the both of us." Dylan says referring to him and Danny.
"Okay, it's the both of us," Danny says with a roll of his eyes.
"Guys, come on!" Merritt says trying to diffuse the situation.
"Come on, stop!" Jack groans out tired of the arguing.
"You, to save your little girlfriend!" Danny snidely remarks.
"To save my... - He had a knife to her head!" Jack yells back.
"I'm a Horseman, you dick!" Lula cries out.
"All right, you know what? This is not the time!" Danny says shaking his head.
"And you, what's your deal, man?" Lula cries out.
"Look, they're not gonna get blood all over the seats. They're probably gonna throw us out of the plane." Merrit says tiredly.
"Really?" Lula asks in disbelief.
"I'm sorry to interrupt, but I just have to say congratulations. And thank you! It's real." Walter says and all of us go silent.
"What? It's real?" I whisper out.
"Bring them through," Walter says as the henchmen move to grab us again.
"Did you say it's real?" Danny asks in disbelief.
"What is he talking about?" Jack says confused.
"Move!" one of the henchmen says shoving us up.
"Well done, my boy. Cote Du Marisule champagne. It's the most expensive bottle on Earth. $1.2 million. And I saved it just for this occasion." Tressler says getting a bottle out from the cooler area.
"IF it's that old it probably doesn't taste very good," I mutter.
"Honestly, same bottle, Liquor Shack, 700K," Merrit says still trying to lift the mood up a bit.
"Hey. You got what you wanted. So, does this mean you're letting us go?" Dylan asks and I look over at him with worry.
"Knowing what you know about us? No." Walter says with a very straight face.
"You sure?" Dylan asks.
"Chase, what shall we do?" Walter says looking over to Merrit's brother.
"Toss them out," Chase says with a goofy grin on his face as he pushes the button to open the door.
"Get your last words in quickly, everybody!" Walter yells out over the sound of the wind.
"No! Come on! No!" we all cry out trying to force out way back but the henchmen just kept pushing us forward.
"Farewell," Walter says close to what seemed to be laughter.
"Wait! I just wanna say... I came into the world with the wrong family, but I'm leaving with the right one. I love you guys!" Merrit calls out to us.
"No! - No, no, no!" I cry out along with Lula.
"This is how I kicked you out of the womb," Chase calls out into the wind.
"Who's next?" he calls out as they push Dylan closer, tossing him out.
The others were soon to follow with me being last.
"No, wait! Let me go! Let go of me! No, no, no! - Let me go!" I cry out trying my hardest to fight off the henchmen who were way too big for me to fight off.
All while Walter and Tressler started to drink the drink, a small smirk forming, as I saw them spit it out, revealing my trick which showcased the card within the fake bottle.
"Toss her!"
