A part of the hanger is showed with rows of extra gun arms, net-gun arms, unarmed flipper 'arms', and arms with grabber claws at the end. In front of the spare mech suit arms handing from the wall was the original Next-o-skeleton. Next to it was the ruins of the giant Mech-penguin Battle mech. To the left of both is a shinier version of the Next-o-skeleton with a sealed cockpit and painted all back. One arm was a giant version of the Gatling Gun and the other one ended in empty sword hilt. A flamethrower and a net gun were attached to the shoulders. The feet were large and hide rocket thrusters a three thruster and a pair of wings were mounted to the back. A Scaffold with steps lead up to the cockpit entrance flap.
The Cockpit cover flipped up and the dashboard split it half and folded away. Kowalski undid his safety harness and climbed out of the cockpit. Kowalski walked down the scaffold stairs and approached the camera.
Kowalski turned to the previous next-o-skeleton, "sentry mode!"
The Next-o-skeleton turned around and guarded the hanger doors. Skipper, Private, and Rico watched the semi-autonomous Mech-suit.
"That is the Next-o-skeleton…or as I call it now the Last-o-skeleton…" Kowalski chuckled before turning to the new mech, "that is the Next-o-skeleton II."

[DESCRIPTION OF INVENTION]
A Go-pro showed Kowalski sitting in the opened cockpit with the dashboard still folded away. Kowalski hits a button and a hologram of the mech is projected in front of Kowalski. Kowalski manipulated some kind of remote the hologram rotated.
"this is the ultimate refinement of the Next-o-skeleton," Kowalski said, "the basic design and function of the original refined and updated with some new features."
"it is the ultimate in combat mechs with Satellite launched replacement arms like it's predecessor."
"it is also capable of flight even in the void of space," Kowalski said, "can even operate underwater."
"Today's workings of the invention will be a rundown of the refined features and the new features of this model."

Refinements
Net Gun
"The Net Gun has been moved from the second arm to the right shoulder," Kowalski said, "and the dependability issues of the previous version's net gun has been resolved. Increased to 95% reliability."
Laser Gatlin Gun
The camera shows the laser Gatling gun move as Kowalski could be hear over the comms, "The Gatling Gun has been enlarged and now takes up the bottom half of the left arm."
Missiles
The 'chest' of the Next-o-Skeleton II (NXT-S2) opened revealing hiding servos of missiles.
Flight system
"As per the original has robot boosters in it's feet," Kowalski said, "but I give this one the added stability of a 'flight pack' which is an integrated Jet-pack system mounted to the back of the mech."

"the foot launcher had been removed because of balance issues…"
Force-field
"A force-field now protects the cockpit area at a flip of a switch," Kowalski said, "I'm currently working on a force-shield defensive/offensive system."
New features
Sealed climate controlled and pressurized (SCCP) Cockpit
"unlike it's predecessor which had an open cockpit this one is completely sealed, Pressured, and climate controlled."
Shoulder mounted Flamethrower
"for all your flame-throwing needs," Kowalski said.
Plasma Sword
"why did I install a plasma sword?" Kowalski asked over the comms.
Kowalski ignites the plasma sword extending it to its full 11-foot length, "because it's awesome!"
Companion drone
"A deploy-able drone that can be sent ahead of the mech to give a advanced warning of any obstacles, obstructions, enemy defenses, or ambushes."
Bio-metric controls
"In order to prevent unauthorized enemy operations," Kowalski said, "the controls only respond to my biological signature."
Note: Human scale version
"I also build a human sized version," Kowalski said, "though I doubt any human would ever use it."
Self-destruct
"so, it doesn't fall into enemy hands," Kowalski said.
Sentry mode
"like its predecessor can go into a guard programming," Kowalski said, "though not truly self-aware yet…it can still operate on its own."
Verbal override
"if it is ever made self-aware the built-in verbal override to stop any rouge behavior," Kowalski said.
Replaceable arms
"Arms fly down from a satellite to replace damaged, ripped off, or exploded off arms at the push of a button."
GPS tracker
"in case it goes rouge and we need to track it down."
Penguin Combat Robot calling (in progress)
"Once I build the planned Penguin Combat Robots (PCRs) of Project Pentron," Kowalski said, "it can call them in for support at the push of a button."
Ejector seat
"In case I need to quickly evac from the mech," Kowalski said.
EMP bomb
"use as a last resort which will fry all the electronics on the mech and any nearby technology and vehicles."

"Finally," Skipper said.

Net Gun
A cardboard cutout of the penguins is placed in front of the Next-o-skeleton II. A net is fired from the net gun ensnaring the target and knocking it over.
"yes!" Kowalski said as the gun fired two more nets

Laser Gatlin gun
A bunch of moving targets are in front of the mech. The Gun arm raised and fired destroying every last target.

A line of fire shot out of the flamethrower and extended out for 100 ft burning down an archery target.

The hidden missile cache opened, and twelve missiles fired out taking down several targets.

The plasma sword cuts right through a giant ice block chucks of ice getting shattered everywhere.

Ejector seat
Mounted on a platform and painted white was a special testing cockpit.
Kowalski hits a button and the testing cockpit exploded.
"Okay… I should probably fix that," Kowalski said

Force-field
Missiles, laser beams, plasma blasts, mortars, MOAB(mother of all bomb)s, bullets, railgun rounds, RPGs, ions, freeze ray beams, protons, lighting, electo-pulses, flamethrower blasts, Lavathrower blasts, Emps, dalek busters, the dalek slayer, dalek energy blasts, zero-grav gun blasts, void cannon blasts, and sonic blasts(again from the emp cannon) flew at the mech. The Force-field held and the Next-o-skeleton walked right through the various shock-waves, energies, and explosions.

The Next-o-skeleton took off did some loop-de-loops and landed effortlessly

EMP BOMB
In the middle of nowhere a all gray 'factory' version with activated the EMP. Sparks could be seen as the computer systems all went crazy before exploding in a cascade of sparks at the electronics died. All the on-board weapons exploded or deactivated as a EMP shock-wave extends outward in all directions. The Camera filming it was the last thing to die as the feed went to static then went black. "Signal lost" appeared on the screen as another camera backed away revealing Kowalski sitting at a remote viewing station.
Kowalski spun around in his chair and said, "I put the remote camera a little too close."

The companion drone flew away from the next-o-skeleton and exploded

A factory version with a test dummy paint-job stood without its arm. Two paint less white mech-arm flew down from above…and exploded before reaching the mech.
"Um…that's a problem," Kowalski said.

An "attacking" sentry mode Next-o-skeleton II approached Kowalski firing it's weapon.
"Stand down," Kowalski said.
The next-o-skeleton leaned forward and deactivated.

"well aside from a few easily fixable issues," Kowalski said, "The Next-o-skeleton II is a success"
"I wouldn't call it that," Skipper said, "the self-replacing arms is a Huge Problem…and the Ejector seat is a massive safety issue."
"Well at least the Self-destruct works," Private said.
"destroy predecessor," Kowalski said.
The Next-o-skeleton II cleaved the first Next-o-skeleton in half with the plasma sword. It then blasted the two halves with the flamethrower, fired missiles at the burnt and melted halves, then blasted any remaining parts with the laser Gatling gun.
"Well…um…see you next time," Kowalski said failing to hide an involuntary shudder as Skipper looks at the devastation in concern.
