A/N: KawaiiCutie12: Thank you :). I honestly didn't do much in Chapter 20, it was just me copying and pasting from 2 previous chapters, but I'm glad you liked it! And I'm glad you are looking forward to this story too :)

Anyways, here is Chapter 21 for you all. And as always, go to Chapter 1 for disclaimers. Without further or do, here is Chapter 21.

"So this is where our biological dad died?" - 9-month-old Kali

Chapter 21: Words Hurt

A few minutes later, Kopa, Aisha, and Kali were at the top of the gorge. "Well I most certainly don't want to talk about dad again," Kopa muttered.

"Well at least we now know what he has done to you and mom," Kali said.

"That is true," Kopa said with a sigh. "At least I got this over with."

"Are we heading back to Pride Rock Kopa?" Aisha asked.

"Well," Kopa began. "It's really up to you girls. You can head back if you want, or you can do some exploring around the lands."

"Can we explore the land without dad bothering us?" Kali asked

"Yeah," Aisha chimed in. "Every time we go exploring, dad would always send Timon and Pumbaa to watch us."

"Sure why not," Kopa said with a shrug, shaking his brown mane back to its original place so it doesn't go to his eyes. "Damn Simba why do you have to send Timon and Pumbaa to watch Aisha and Kali?" Kopa muttered. "They can take care of themselves." Then in a much louder voice, he said, "Well then let's get goin'." With that, the trio started heading out to explore the lands.

A few minutes later, in the middle of exploring, Kopa, Aisha, and Kali ran into someone they didn't want to run into. It was Kibwe. Aisha and Kali hid behind their brother when they saw Kibwe approach them. Kopa glared at Kibwe as he saw him approach.

"Hello Kopa," Kibwe said with an even tone. "Nice seeing you again."

"Well nice seeing you again," Kopa said, glaring at Kibwe.

"I see you're taking your sisters around the Pride Lands," Kibwe said, looking at Aisha and Kali with a cold look. "Nice. But do you really think that they are your brother's replacements?"

"Look Kibwe," Kopa snapped. "Leave Chaka out of this! Stop bringing him up!"

"Oh Kopa really," Kibwe said, rolling his brown eyes in annoyance. "I see that you've moved on from Chaka. You've never loved him. It shows that you're heartless and pathetic. Just like your father."

"Are you comparing me to my father?" Kopa snarled, his teeth bared.

"What does it look like Kopa?" Kibwe said with a cold look. "You're more like your father than you think you are. Your father was a heartless bitch. Just like you are right now."

"Call me my father again and I will rip you to pieces," Kopa snapped.

"Then rip me to pieces," Kibwe snapped back. "You're even like Scar. He was also heartless like your father."

"And now your comparing me to Scar?!" Kopa shouted angrily. "Look Kibwe how about you keep your nasty comments to yourself! I'm sick and tired of you saying them out loud! It's damn annoying and not cool!"

"I can say things out loud if I want to Kopa," Kibwe said coldly. "And do you really think that your sisters bring you joy again? Think again."

"You did not just say that," Kali growled, glaring at Kibwe.

"Look do not bring up my sisters!" Kopa roared furiously. "They're innocent kids! They brought joy to me again because ever since I was depressed in life, they were able to make me smile again! So don't you think about bringing them up!"

"I'm just saying things my way because I can say things negative out loud," Kibwe said coldly. "So I have the right to bring up your sisters, even if it is in a negative way."

"How in the world is this guy still living here?" Aisha thought to herself. "He's been doing this for a long time now. How in the world is this being unnoticed?" Just then they heard a loud voice shout, "What's going on here?!" The group turned to see Simba standing there along with Nala, Penda, and Kibwe's mother, Uzuri.

"Oh nothing Simba," Kibwe said quickly. "Me, Kopa, Aisha, and Kali were just enjoying a bonding time together. Right guys?" Kibwe looked at Kopa, Aisha, and Kali when he said that last part. But what he received from them were glares.

"Yeah right," Kali scoffed, rolling her eyes. "That's hardly the truth."

"Yeah," Aisha chimed in, rolling her sea-green eyes. "You were once again mentioning Chaka in a negative way."

"Sure didn't seem like he said it," Penda muttered.

"Who the hell asked you anyways Penda?!" Kopa snarled, glaring at the tawny cub. "Stay out of this!"

"Kopa stop this right now!" Simba commanded.

"Why should I stop?!" Kopa shouted. "Kibwe did talk negatively about Chaka! He even compared me to my father and Scar! He said I was heartless and pathetic! You can even ask Aisha and Kali! They heard him say it too!"

"Is this true girls?" Simba asked, looking at his step-daughters.

"It is true," Kali declared, looking at her step-father directly in the eye. "Kibwe did compare Kopa to our real dad and Scar. He even said that Kopa was heartless and pathetic just like them. And he even did talk negatively out loud about Chaka." Simba's eyes went wide in shock when he heard this. He studied Kali's face to see if she was lying, and she wasn't. He then looked at Uzuri, whose blue eyes went wide in shock as she took in the information.

"Uzuri you must do something about your son's behavior," Simba said. "This behavior he has cannot continue."

"I know that Simba," Uzuri said with a sigh. Then she looked at Kibwe, whose eyes were wide in fear. She then said sharply, "We need to have a long serious talk about your behavior young lion."

"But mom," Kibwe began.

"Now Kibwe," Uzuri said sharply. Without another word, Uzuri and Kibwe headed back to Pride Rock, with Kibwe's ears pinned to his head. After they were gone, Simba then looked over at Kopa, who was looking away from sisters, mother, and him.

"Kopa honey are you alright?" Nala asked, walking over to her son.

"I'm... I'm fine mom," Kopa said, still not looking at his mother. "I-I-I just need some time alone." With that Kopa walked away, tears rolling down his face.

"Poor Kopa," Aisha said with a sad expression on her face. "But damn Kibwe. He has some nerve."

"Yeah tell me about it," Kali muttered with a frown. Then she said, "Aisha do you want to continue exploring without Kopa?"

"Welll sure," Aisha said. Then she asked, "Wanna come with us, Penda?"

"Sure why not?" Penda said with a shrug. With that, the three cubs began to explore. But before they could they heard Simba's voice say, "Where are you cubs going?"

"Were just going to take a walk dad," Kali said quickly, not wanting her step-father to ask too many questions. "Ya know clear our heads."

"Ok then," Simba said. "Just make sure you don't go near the Outlands. Understand?"

"Dad we already know that," Kali said with irritation. "You don't have to always remind us. We already get it."

"Kali don't take that tone with me young lioness," Simba scolded. "I'm your father and you will talk respectfully to me."

"Yeah right," Kali scoffed, rolling her amber eyes. "You're hardly my dad."

"Kali," Nala said sharply, giving her daughter a look. Kali immediately shut her mouth, not wanting to be scolded by her mother.

"Well run along now kids," Simba said. "Just make sure you guys come back by sunset."

"Yeah," Kali said, rolling her eyes once again. "We'll come back by sunset." With that, the three nine-month-old cubs left.

"Well, I'm going to go find Kopa," Nala said. "See if I can at least talk to him if he's alright." With that Nala gave Simba a nuzzle then went to go find her son, leaving Simba alone. Suddenly Simba saw Timon and Pumbaa heading his way.

"Psh, Timon, Pumbaa come here," Simba said his voice low.

"Hello ol' buddy," Timon exclaimed, as he and Pumbaa came to their pal.

"I need you two to keep a close eye on Aisha, Penda, and Kali," Simba said. "You know they are bound to run off."

"Don't worry Simba we will keep a good close eye on your kids," Timon said on top of Pumbaa.

"Yeah," Pumbaa chimed in.

"Guys I am serious," Simba said, his voice serious. "I don't want them being harmed. And most importantly I don't want them going to the Outlands."

"Well then," Timon said. "Let's go find the cubs Pumbaa!" With that Timon and Pumbaa took off. Simba than decided to finish his rounds for the day.

A/N: Words can hurt eh? Poor Kopa.

Anyways, that is it for Chapter 21! See you guys later in Chapter 22!
